With floor to ceiling glass doors running the length of the room, one can look out to the expansive jungle and ocean views whether relaxing in bed, sitting out on the deck or taking a shower. The 2 other Master Suites, one has a KING/canopy bed, the other 2 DOUBLE beds. Both have large full bathrooms with views, private decks, and glass doors running the length of the room providing for great viewing of the wildlife, ocean and jungle.

Our stay at Villa Perezoso was a special treat. We were made to feel at home immediately as Victor and Ober greeted us with a welcome drink and a great Costa Rican dinner. Every day was special. Our excursions were great, particularly the zip line and the hike in the national park. Victor made sure our guides were the best. Hanging out at the villa and watching the monkeys and birds was also very enjoyable. Our week at the villa will always be one of our most memorable vacations.Did you find this review helpful? Put our names down for next year! This was a beautiful experience that we want to experience for years to come. The staff is absolutely amazing and keep the most lovely villa in Costa Rica. But truly, the kindness you have shown to us has made this trip so special. We wish the best for all of you at the Villa and can't wait to visit again to spend time with you all. I admit, I was a little nervous booking a vacation from a internet site and in a foreign country on top of that. I mean, what happens when you arrive and the villa and the area are not at all what you were expecting or what had been described to you? Once we booked the Villa, Seda called to discuss the details and I felt better, but still, you know, long way off and in another country. After booking and finishing up the details including payment, Seda called and emailed information and I was feeling more secure.....but. At the airport we were met by our driver to the Villa as Seda had arranged and I was feeling very good about the booking. Things were working out as planned and the drive was actually a lot of fun and very informative. On arrival to the Villa, all of our hesitations vanished. We had arrived in paradise. I won't go into the description of the house and area as that has been done by other reviews, but I can tell you none of them give it justice. Even the pictures cannot convey the beauty of the house and views and if anything they are not descriptive enough. While the villa, furnishings, views and wildlife are truly amazing, you will find the real value of Villa Perezoso is the staff. While it is an amazing villa, without them it is just another beautiful villa. It all works together for a perfect week. I would not hesitate to book another week there next year and actually hope to do that. The only thing I would like to see added to the Villa is the ability to take charge cards in order to reduce the amount of cash needed.Owner response: We are ever so humbled by your review...thank you. We just returned from a fabulous week in Manuel Antonio at Villa Perezoso. It was our first time in Costa Rica and we couldn't have chosen a better location to start or place to stay. The Villa is absolutely stunning and yet very family friendly. My three children (ages 18,7, and 9) loved the accomodations and made themselves right at home. We saw monkeys, sloths, birds, and all sorts of jungle creatures while still enjoying the ocean view. We did not need for anything during our stay. The staff at the villa was exceptional and really "made" the trip for us! Victor, the House Manager, was on top of everything. He made all of our arrangements from the beach, to zip lining, white water rafting, ATV's, and even a day of shopping in Quepos. Over, the chef was fantastic, he was able to satisfy the kids while still preparing a delicious variety of meals that were restaurant quality. Last, Cecilia kept the place sparkling clean without ever being seen. We enjoyed every element of the trip and are so appreciative to Seda for sharing her little slice of heaven with us! Thank you thank you thank you!Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

We looked at a lot of villas and homes in Costa Rica and was I happy we chose this villa. What a WOW experience. First, its a beautiful setting overlooking the jungle and ocean and a prime location near Manuel Antonio. Second, its a great place for a group or family. My family visited (2 children) with my brother and his family (1 child) - lots of room to spread out and "be alone", combined with common areas to hang out together. Plus Victor, the house manager, is a lovely man - and just handled our every need. and the villa also comes with a cook. Ober, the chef, a deligntful man, who surprised us every meal with a different combination of top quality food - one of my children is vegetarian and the other can't eat wheat - and he was able to accommodate these restrictions with ease. I can't say enough about this place. 5 star rating.Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

I have been many beautiful places but never before had I recieved "red carpet" treatment as I did while visiting Villa Perezoso with my friends. Victor (house manager) is nothing short of a blessing. He had great suggestions of things to do and went above and beyond to make us comfortable. Chef Over makes culinary masterpieces and his cooking is the best I have had in a long time. Ceclia was very friendly and made our stay a comfortable one because she kept the Villa immaculately clean and entertained my new and emerging Spanish speaking skills. In fact, Victor, Over, and Cecilia all helped me put my spanish speaking skills to good use and Victor's bi-lingual abilities came in handy in the Villa and about town. Stay here....you won't be disappointed from the GREAT staff, great food, great view and the incredible vibe and love put into this Villa. The Villa is well furnished and the zen vibe will relax you as will the staff. They really embody the meaning of "Pura Vida".Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children.

"Where do I even begin to express how much fun we had and how nice the house was??? We were greeted after our drive to a wonderful retreat. We all slept so good and felt very rested. The beds are awesome. Cecelia, the housekeeper is wonderful. I enjoyed Over teaching us cooking tips that I can hopefully use at home. Thank you. What a great treat for a busy mom like me. I totally feel pampered, spoiled. This was a dream destination for me and it was so worth it. Thanks again to everyone who came together to make it all work perfectly. "Thank you so much for an incredible week! Everything was amazing. From the fancy drink upon arrival to the wonderful dinners, beautiful touches to the accomodations, to the professional activity advice. Everything far exceeded our expectations. We are so sad to be leaving this paradise. It has truely been a wonderful vacation. This house is beautiful, there was not a single element missing. Everything was well thought out. It was perfect for our family vacation. Victor's professional manner, advice and friendliness were greatly appreciated. Over's amazing breakfasts and dinners were 5 star. "How do we begin to thank you for this awe-inspiring experience. What you have done with your home and what your staff did to make this above, all hands down, the best, was very much appreciated. The views are so impressive they make me want to cry. The staff is superb and so much a part of why our trip was so extraordinary. Thank you for sharing with us this slice of heaven. It makes you really step and look at your life and strive to attain "pura vida". The recommendations for excursions were wonderful. The white water rafting trip to Rafiki and the zip line tour were amazing. It was wonderful how Victor was always there to guide us daily and was so attentive to our needs. Loves include travel, villa interior design (importing furnishings and accessories from Bali); creating a perfect vacation experience for our guests. We LOVE Manuel Antonio, and hope to have the pleasure of helping you with your vacation, villa needs.
Why the Owner Chose Manuel Antonio:
To us, Manuel Antonio is as close to paradise as it gets. Our dream was to someday live in a tropical haven, near the beach and somewhere not too far from 'home' (the States). Having traveled nearly all the continents and vacationed on many of the worlds' best islands and tropical destinations, upon arriving in Manuel Antonio in November of 2003, we knew we had to live there someday. Not only was the place magical, the views heavenly, the beaches some of the best we've ever encountered but the friendliness of the people of Costa Rica, their emphasis on preserving their beautiful country, we knew when we arrived that we were hooked and that we wanted to make Costa Rica our next home. We found a gorgeous property with some of the best views we have encountered, bought it and started building. With Bali being another favorite destination of ours, we wanted to bring what we loved about Bali to Costa Rica--from the feeling of living outdoors to using natural materials and woods and stones to the top notch service they provide their guests. Our architect did a beautiful job taking our vision and in creating Villa Perezoso(named for the resident sloth), with every room having furniture and accessories custom built for the property and had it transported to Costa Rica. It was a labor of love building it from the ground up and we love the finished product as do our guests.
