We looked at a lot of villas and homes in Costa Rica and was I happy we chose this villa. What a WOW experience. First, its a beautiful setting overlooking the jungle and ocean and a prime location near Manuel Antonio. Second, its a great place for a group or family. My family visited (2 children) with my brother and his family (1 child) - lots of room to spread out and "be alone", combined with common areas to hang out together. Plus Victor, the house manager, is a lovely man - and just handled our every need. and the villa also comes with a cook. Ober, the chef, a deligntful man, who surprised us every meal with a different combination of top quality food - one of my children is vegetarian and the other can't eat wheat - and he was able to accommodate these restrictions with ease. I can't say enough about this place. 5 star rating.

I have been many beautiful places but never before had I recieved "red carpet" treatment as I did while visiting Villa Perezoso with my friends. Victor (house manager) is nothing short of a blessing. He had great suggestions of things to do and went above and beyond to make us comfortable. Chef Over makes culinary masterpieces and his cooking is the best I have had in a long time. Ceclia was very friendly and made our stay a comfortable one because she kept the Villa immaculately clean and entertained my new and emerging Spanish speaking skills. In fact, Victor, Over, and Cecilia all helped me put my spanish speaking skills to good use and Victor's bi-lingual abilities came in handy in the Villa and about town. Stay here....you won't be disappointed from the GREAT staff, great food, great view and the incredible vibe and love put into this Villa. The Villa is well furnished and the zen vibe will relax you as will the staff. They really embody the meaning of "Pura Vida".
Owner response:We are so very happy that you enjoyed your stay with us. Our team is fabulous aren't they? We work very hard at creating the perfect vacation experience for our guests, even traveling as far as Bali to furnish and decorate the Villa! Thank you for choosing us.

"Thank you so much for an incredible week! Everything was amazing. From the fancy drink upon arrival to the wonderful dinners, beautiful touches to the accomodations, to the professional activity advice. Everything far exceeded our expectations. We are so sad to be leaving this paradise. It has truely been a wonderful vacation. This house is beautiful, there was not a single element missing. Everything was well thought out. It was perfect for our family vacation. Victor's professional manner, advice and friendliness were greatly appreciated. Over's amazing breakfasts and dinners were 5 star. Everyone was right, who would want to go out to eat if you have Over as a chef? Simply amazing. Cecelia made our accomodations special. She does a wonderful job. We will miss her special touches. Thank you for sharing your special place with us. It is truly a paradise. We look forward to returning."

"How do we begin to thank you for this awe-inspiring experience. What you have done with your home and what your staff did to make this above, all hands down, the best, was very much appreciated. The views are so impressive they make me want to cry. The staff is superb and so much a part of why our trip was so extraordinary. Thank you for sharing with us this slice of heaven. It makes you really step and look at your life and strive to attain "pura vida". The recommendations for excursions were wonderful. The white water rafting trip to Rafiki and the zip line tour were amazing. It was wonderful how Victor was always there to guide us daily and was so attentive to our needs. We truly enjoyed his company and his kindness will not be forgotten."

"Where do I even begin to express how much fun we had and how nice the house was??? We were greeted after our drive to a wonderful retreat. We all slept so good and felt very rested. The beds are awesome. Cecelia, the housekeeper is wonderful. I enjoyed Over teaching us cooking tips that I can hopefully use at home. Thank you. What a great treat for a busy mom like me. I totally feel pampered, spoiled. This was a dream destination for me and it was so worth it. Thanks again to everyone who came together to make it all work perfectly. "

I just returned from beautiful Costa Rica. Our week at "Villa Perezoso" was exceptional...on all fronts! Exquisite house with breathtaking views and breezes! The stay was perfection...from the moment we were met with big smiles and cool drinks....the chef is amazing...freshest ingredients...served with style and elegance...clearly they love their work and take pride in their product. We rented the villa with 3 bedrooms and were so happy with our accomodations...all the creature comforts of a fine hotel, but in the middle of "the jungle" atmosphere! There is so much to do if one wants to venture out, but for those who want quiet time around the pool with that great book you have the view of the pacific high above the breaking waves. A vacation to remember!
Owner response:So glad you all had a good stay. Hope to have you back soon.

Villa Perezoso is the perfect vacation spot. The house is beautifully appointed (the photos don't do it justice) and extremely well maintained. The bedroom suites are extremely comfortable and very private. The staff is perfectly trained and will cater to evey need. The food is delicious and the views are fantastic. I can't wait to go back!!! This is Costa Rica at its best.

There were six of us in our group (3 couples). From the time we arrived until we departed we were pampered and taken care of. House Manager Victor, Chef Over and Housekeeper Cecelia were very warm, hospitable and very dependable. Each day we awoke to the sounds of the howler monkeys, then watched the white faced monkeys enjoy their breakfasts in the trees, and saw many different exotic local birdlife--all from the Villa! On our walks we saw more monkeys including squirrel monkeys (thanks to Victor for letting us know where to look), lizards and iguanas. When at the beach we were treated to chairs, umbrellas and beverages by Marife and Rey (Victor's recommendation). The tours Victor set up were outstanding and he never left anything to chance. Chef Over's meals were incredible--there is no reason to eat elsewhere! Breakfasts always started with a platter of local fresh fruit unlike anything we eat at home. We were encouraged to make meal requests and Chef Over and Victor executed all with great care using only the freshest ingredients. We slept very well in our lovely canopy beds and our bath showers overlooked the garden off the deck. Cecelia took excellent care with the housekeeping including daily towel figures on our beds. And, we enjoyed massages in our suites by Sylvia. The staff, the location, the decor, the food, the whole experience were outstanding!

My wife and I recently visited Villa Perezoso located in a beautiful Rain Forest near Manual Antonio, Costa Rica. The Villa is remarkably beautiful and extremely well appointed reaching a new definition for "Luxury" !!! As if this was not enough, it is staffed by an on site Manager ( Victor), a chef ( Over) and a housekeeper named Cecilia. These three professionals provide a level of Service far exceeding any Resort, Hotel or Vacation Spot that we have ever experienced. Victor is the consummate concierge catering to your every need. Over's meals were fabulous, the presentation always impressive which when combined can best be described as " Over" the Top Culinary Delight !!! Cecilia maintains an impeccably clean household with attention to every detail. Add spectacular Ocean Views, Monkeys and Sloths at your door step plus a wide variety of Tours and Activities including close proximity to Manual Antonio National Park and you get a truly First Class vacation. We can't wait to go back. We recommend this property as a true Gem for all to see. Walt & Nancy

After many days of research, we chose the VP for our spring break family vacation (3 teen girls). The reviews and photos do not lie or exagerate. This property is first class, stylish, spotlessly maintained and clean. Accustomed to very high standards and luxury accomodations, we were not dissappointed. The attentive staff made it their pleasure to pamper us and cater to our every need. Against my controllling nature, I let the house mgr., Victor handle the planning of all our activities which made for a truly relaxing and stress free vacation. He is connected to the best people and we let him do it all. A highlight was the incredible hospitality and rafting experience he arranged at the Rafike Safari Lodge...if you go, do not miss this. I cannot say enough about Over's wonderful meals and we could not tear ourselves away from the villa to miss a dinner. Do not miss his tuna poke or seafood paella. We also liked the villa's location and it was a short, but very uphill walk to the main road if you need some action. We especially enjoyed going to Barba Roja and Aqua Azul. The owner, Seda is very helpful and professional. Her attention to detail and thoughtfulness has created an incredible 5-star vacation villa experience....first class beds & bathrooms (I still miss the showers), first class linens, furnishings, setting, staff ....its all perfect! Our three teens proclaimed it the BEST vacation they have ever been on and that is saying alot.

The Villa offers an incomparable experience. The Villa itself was beautifully decorated with luxurious bedding and amenities. You can easily spend your entire vacation in the pool overlooking the rainforest. Victor, the house manager, was charming, resourceful and extremely accomodating. Over, the chef, was a top-notch highlight to the entire vacation. Some of my favorite dishes prepared by Over (in no particular order): - tropical fruit smoothies, varying every day - breakfast quesadillas with fresh shrimp and pico de gallo - french toast with coconut/banana topping - grilled squid stuffed with onions - fresh tuna poke - homemade hummus with grilled pita - homemade guacamole with fresh tortilla chips - paella - fresh ceviche - casada - tres leches cake!! This is the way to vacation! Victor and Over take care of anything you could possibly want on vacation! We will be back for sure!
Owner response:So happy you had a nice visit. We certainly hope to have the pleasure of your stay again! Victor, Over and Cecelia know how to spoil us all!
