Hello, we are looking for long term or short term renters who will take good care of our home. Rental prices are listed weekly, plesae enquire about long term.

Blue Heron Point is a must see for any family or group looking to enjoy the beauty of the Chesapeake Bay. Situated on the point of Nabbs Creek and Stoney Creek on 210 Feet of waterfront (2 miles from the Bay), Blue Heron Point is just an 8 mile boat ride or an 18 mile drive to downtown Baltimore and 17 miles to Historic Downtown Annapolis. The drives take approximately 25 minutes to Annapolis, 20 to Baltimore and 40 minutes to DC.

Note that there are 4 bedrooms (sleeping for 8)
A futon is in one of the downstairs bedrooms (sleeps 2)

Couches can sleep another 2. And we can convert the office into a bedroom, and add a bed in there for the right people!

Ideal for a family with kids that love the water, crabbing off the dock, fishing, tubing or just sun bathing on your own private 220 feet of water.

Enjoy long dinners on your deck with a panoramic view of the water. We eat nearly every meal from May through October outside on the deck or at the picnic table on the dock ~ There is no waterfront restaurant in Annapolis or Baltimore that can compete with this view!

The home gets its name from the faithful Great Blue Heron who makes his daily morning rounds from Spring to Fall to the end of our dock. The Fall brings flocks of Canadian geese, the Spring brings several couples of nesting mallards, and you won’t believe the rockfish jumping near the shore on those hot summer nights!

The 2nd floor Master Bedroom boasts a 13 foot dormer window and private balcony looking over the water. The bathroom hosts an over sized jet tub and extra-large tiled shower, double vanity and lots of natural light. The master closet has been recently designed by California Closets, and boasts two extra crawl spaces for storage.

Bedroom #2 on 2nd Floor has a matching 13 foot dormer window and an alcove sitting area.

The centerpiece of the first floor are the stunning four sets of double sliding doors with nearly an entire wall of glass looking out onto the water. The living room has an open ceiling to the second floor for lots of light and space.

There is an adjoining office with its own slider, separated from the living room by glass French doors, with a private full bath. (This room could also be converted into an exercise room or a 5th bedroom.)

The gourmet kitchen is surrounded by natural hickory cabinets, with GE Monogram stainless steel appliances. Five-burner gas stove, convection oven and warming drawer, microwave and dishwasher are all top of the line. A double sink facing the water even makes washing dishes fun! The dining room has matching cabinets and stylish lighting.

Bedrooms 3 & 4 are on the first floor and share a brand-new luxury bathroom with a sunken jet tub and separate shower. The 3rd bedroom, with a king sized bed and a futon, also houses the washer and dryer, hidden behind a set of louvered doors. Bedroom #4 has a queen sized bed and a window that peaks out to the water.

This home is a waterfront paradise 10 months out of the year… and the other two aren’t so bad either!

We have put 100's of thousands of dollars into our home, and want to make sure we have folks in our house that will take good care. Please tell us a little about your group.

Tranquil waterfront property with spacious tastefully decorated living areas

Guest: Mark (Roswell, NM)
Date of Stay: 06/24/11 Review Submitted: 08/23/11

Two families from New Mexico (9 total guests) enjoyed a fabulous stay at this luxurious waterfront property. Mornings were enjoyed cooking large breakfasts in the fully equiped kitchen. The back deck and huge dock were the source of great relaxation as well as fishing, crab harvesting and swimming. While nestled off of the beaten path, we were strategically located between Baltimore and Washington DC for easy access to great shopping, sites and sporting events. We also took a few day trips to Philidelphia and Gettysburg, easy drives of under 2 hours each. Evenings were enjoyed inside and out back. The cool air conditioning, spacious great room combiing a living room, dining room and den all connected to the kitchen and large screen TV and entertainment center offered something for everyone. Each of our guests enjoyed all of their own space as well as the company of the others. We appreciated the wireless internet connecton, the downstairs washer and dryer, the 3 full bathrooms and the easy to follow instructions which introduced us to all of the properties features and amenities. The listing description was completely accurate; the photos well representative; the property clean and well-maintained and the owners accessible by phone and e-mail to help point us in the right directions during our stay. I would highly recommend this property to friends, family or complete strangers. Try this property and you will want to make it an annual destination!

Priceless memories

Guest: Boise Broncos! (Eagle, ID)
Date of Stay: 09/03/10 Review Submitted: 04/15/11

We spent a fabulous week at this property last fall and I can't speak highly enough about it. The location was perfect for us to experience Baltimore, Annapolis, AND DC! The home itself was perfect for our large group and was able to accomodate not only 3 families, but ages ranging from 1 to 85. It was extremely comfortable with all the ammenties of home...plus some! When we weren't touring the area around us, the kids loved crabbing off the dock, playing on the playset, and barbecuing on the back deck. The owners went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable and you can tell they really cherish this property and aim to make it as comfortable for their guests as if their own family were staying there. My only regret is having not met them! I highly recommend this property and if given the opportunity to go back to the area, I would definately stay there again.

Perfect Transition Home!

Guest: Jamie and Nick (Severn, MD)
Date of Stay: 09/13/10 Review Submitted: 04/15/11

My husband and I, and two teenage boys needed a place to transition back to the states, after several years in London. It was an incredibly hectic time, and I was worried about finding a place for two weeks as we waited for our home to be ready, and get the boys into school, and move our lives back to the states. We hit a home run! The Cook's took great care of us. We must have emailed 50 times and spoken on the phone a dozen times before arriving! They always got back to us quickly and were patient with all my seemingly endless questions. They even invited us to their football tailgates and introduced us around to their friends. They met us at their home and got us settled. The home is "wide open" with views everywhere. We enjoyed early morning coffee on the upstairs balcony off the master bedroom overlooking the water. We ate crabs from the water 3 or 4 times during the 2 weeks and had dinner every night on the back deck. Everything was immaculate when we arrived. The kitchen is big, gourmet, and stocked with everything we needed. The upstairs master bathroom is HUGE, with a stair walkway directly from the shower to the jacuzzi tub (very cool). We couldn't imagine having a better rental experience. We miss this house! :)

I wanted to tell you that my family has found your home to be very comfortable and accomodating for our needs. Every one is thrilled, thank you! Mom actually did sit on the porch today to catch a few "rays," it was awesome to see her relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Thank you for every thing, including letting us move in here today. Please pass our appreciation on to your wife as well.

Could not have asked for a more perfect location and hospitable family

Guest: Mark (PENSACOLA,FL)
Date of Stay: 05/25/09 Review Submitted: 03/18/11

Graduating in '09 I could not have asked for a more perfect location to have my family stay. The home is immaculate and the family was a dream come true. They gave us recommendations for caters and helped us with anything we needed making my graduation week run smoothly. I wish i could say that the photos do this house all the justice it deserves...but the house and the property are even better in person. I would highly recommend this home for anyone trying to have a nice location for their final time at the Academy.

Wonderful Week, Gorgeous Home, Caught Blue Crab Off Dock! Owners Very Helpful.

Guest: Karen and Jim (Chicago Il)
Date of Stay: 06/05/10 Review Submitted: 03/13/11

Our family plus my in laws and my niece and nephew stayed at Blue Heron Point for a week. We choose a different home every year. This year the goal was to see Washington DC and go to some baseball games. Casey and Kristjana were so very helpful before, during our trip. They even arranged great seats at the Orioles game for us. I must have spoken to them 10 times prior to arrival. They met us at their home and arranged for an early check in. The pictures of the home are 100% accurate. Although the pictures can not convey the gorgeous view from their doc, the water and the warmth of the interior. We have stayed in several VRBO homes, and this is the first one where the house matched pictures perfectly, and the house was even nicer than the pictures. The home was perfect for us. They converted the downstairs office into a bedroom for us, which gave us 5 bedrooms. The home was spotless, the kitchen gorgeous, all very important to us. We did 2 trips to DC and one trip to Camden Yards for a baseball game. We also visited Annapolis. All very convenient by car. Casey provided crab traps and even brought us bait. By the end of the week we had 3 dozen large blue crab in the traps that we cooked outside on the water. Ask about the special seasoning they have in MD. We were traveling with a lot of clothes because we were going up to NY afterwards. The california walk in closet upstairs was perfect for all of our things. We highly recommend this home! Thank you Casey and Kristjana for making our stay so very special. We WILL come back. Jim and Karen
