Amazing accomodations for a girls weekend! The house more than exceeded our expectations. The gourmet kitchen was fully stocked, the master bedroom/spa shower was very relaxing and the overall feel of the house was welcoming and comfortable. The location was ideal for day trips to the wineries as well as a night out on the town. We enjoyed relaxing evenings on the deck by the fire pit and the privacy of a huge backyard. Our first trip to Long Island was a huge success! We look forward to returning soon!

Once again the stay at Andrew's home was one to remember. This being our second time renting, the experience was as great as the first. We were greeted by a clean house which was in perfect working order. The amenities mentioned were all provided and in perfectly working shape. During our stay we were not disturbed by anyone and enjoyed the privacy provided to us. Overall, this house is a keeper. We look forward to renting from such a professional and genuine individual such as Andrew and are thankful for his generosity in allowing us into his home.

To celebrate the marriage of two friends next month a bunch of city folk and I rented the home for an extended weekend. It surpassed our expectations both practically and in the matters of pampering. The extra beds made sleeping arrangements an after thought and the openness between the communal areas of the house made hosting and interactions come naturally. Of course we made sure to discuss the pot filler/ stove top faucet? at least a half a dozen times - right after we made sure everyone got a chance to shower at least once in the master bath. The only tweaks to be made are minor ones- updating to blu ray compatibility and a coffee machine that picks up the pace a bit better. But these are far out shadowed by items available to use in the kitchen where you have the tools on hand to make just about any meal. The bells and whistles were all in the right places and made our celebration relaxed, wholesome and happy to be there.

What a beautiful house ! We spent a week touring the North Fork with relatives from all over the United States. We went to many wineries but Macari Vinyards and Corey Creek Vinyards were two of our favorites (delicious wine and fantastic musical entertainment by "Kidcochiese"!) After all the daily activities, we couldn't wait to get back to entertain in the GORGEOUS kitchen!! The master bathroom shower made you feel like you were staying at an exotic spa! The house was immaculate and roomy and the A/C was nice and cold! Andrew was a pleasure to deal with and all transactions were smooth as silk!

My friends and I stayed at this property for one night to celebrate my 30th birthday. I live in Long Island but my house cannot accommodate 10 people for an overnight stay. Besides, the location was perfect. My friends who live in MA drove to New London and took the ferry to Orient Point. We sampled wines at the nearby vineyards then checked into the house before heading to the local beach (also very close). Dinner was a breeze to prepare in the modern and well-furnished kitchen. The porch adjoining the dining room has a big table and comfy chairs – it was the perfect place to enjoy a few cold beers while some of us played volleyball on the big backyard. We also held a very serious karaoke+dance competition. (We brought the Magic Mic which plugs right into the flat-screen TV in the living room.) The boys took the trophy. The following day, we did a barbeque. We had to switch out the gas tank and Andy, the owner, was very helpful over the phone. If there is anything I would recommend for this house, that is to upgrade the grill to match the modern kitchen. Meanwhile, we all took turns taking a shower in the main bathroom inside the master’s bedroom. It’s like a spa in there! My husband and I stayed in the master’s bedroom and I loved the bed and the great walk-in closet. Everything was clean and in order, the sheets were fresh, the temperature was comfortably cool…just like in any reputable hotel. There were lots of towels for everyone too (I mean LOTS) and the washer/dryer was very convenient. If the house is maintained the same way we found it, anyone who stays here will be extremely pleased. Thanks again, Andy!

This is an immaculate, beautiful home in a quiet, peaceful corner of the world just a short drive from some of Long Island's best sights and attractions. We rented it for family who flew in for our wedding. They loved it and felt they had been treated to a wonderful vacation spot. Everything was arranged for our comfort. The master bath is such a treat that everyone used it at some point and we had family members wondering if they could replicate the kitchen in their own homes! We enjoyed walks, shopping at the Tanger outlets in Riverhead, and family time in the open layout that kept everyone involved in the wonderful experience. Can't wait to go back next year when they all hope to return!

Wow, completely exceeded our expectations! Really blew away the photos. The kitchen is every cooks dream (if you are willing to cook on vacation!). Not only is it gorgeous but stocked with everything you need to create a meal with ease-including a great collection of cookbooks. We found so much to do in the area including the wineries (which we were able to find car service to & from & really enjoy!), the aquarium just minutes away, water park, great outlet shopping and on the days we wanted to relax the backyard was a welcome open space with a moments walk down to the dock where we were pleased to find kayaks for our use. The bedrooms were all beautiful & clean, each with it's own TV-which included the basement rec room with even more sleep space & the requisite TV & game console with games and collection of movies for the kids! If I could have packed it up & brought it home-the Master Bathroom would now be mine with a shower you never want to get out of! I would recommend this home to anyone coming to the area & highly anticipate & look forward to renting again!

Pre-Thanksgiving Visit

We stayed 3 nights right before Thanksgiving and had a wonderful time. We had good weather so we were able to get out and enjoy the neighborhood. The house is very comfortable, especially the kitchen. We also enjoyed the big kitchen table. There are 3 couples in our family so the bedrooms worked out great. The master bathroom was very luxurious. Everything was clean and comfortable. We made a pre-Thanksgiving dinner one night and found the kitchen to have everything we needed. We were even fortunate to meet Andy, the owner, one evening. We had a great meal at the North Fork Table and Inn. The main reason for our visit was to meet up with our children, who live in Manhattan, and visit the various wineries in the area. We had a great time at the wineries, we especially like Shinn Estates Vineyards, and Bedell Cellars. We also enjoyed all the small villages on the North Fork. As you can see we had an enjoyable time and would love to return to this property.
