This 2800 sf home has large rooms and makes an ideal site for a Family Reunion or a spot for friends to get together. . All bedrooms open to decks giving a delightful indoor/ outdoor feel. People always comment that there's plenty of space for group activities but lots of private space to go and be alone. For convenience there is a Master suite on each floor.

Downstairs Master has KING bed and attached shower bathroom.
Upstairs is the " dormitory" with 4 X single beds and a pac n play
One very large BR with QUEEN bed and a 2nd master suite with QUEEN bed and full bathroom.

Mick and I moved to San Diego from Africa about 22 years ago. That was the BEST move we ever made! We were fortunate to come to San Diego and find Ocean Beach which has so much character. This house was our primary residence but is now too big for the 2 of us.
The light and feel of the home is up-lifting, I always feel so good when I'm there.
When we first owned the property it was a very rough little 2 BR but Mick is a contractor and was able to turn the ugly duckling to a swan! You'll love it.

What a wonderful experience! This house was incredible -- so much so that we will be back next summer. The rooms are excellent and it really did accommodate the 8 of us in comfort. It was great to have a kitchen and laundry room. The porches were a treat. You can't do any better than this home away from home!

We stayed at this beautiful home and in awe with the magnificent views of the ocean from the balcony. The Ocean Beach, restaurants, boutiques are nearby; the neighborhood is tranquil and safe. The bedrooms and 4 bathrooms were large to accomodate and entertain my family and guests. We had a wonderful time and having to stay at this home made it even more special. We highly recommend this home and would love to return in the future.

We had a wonderful visit to San Diego and this house was perfect for our family get together. From ages 25 - 80 we all had so much fun visiting the city, spending time with each other, and were so comfortable in this home. We loved the location, the flowers, the view, the fireworks, the kitchen, the decks, and on and on. We had 4 couples and all the bedrooms and bath rooms worked out great for us, and my 80 year old parents were happy to have a downstairs suite! We had one small problem with bedding, but found adequate linens in the house to solve that problem and the owner was gracious, when informed. The owner was great to give us recommendations for restaurants and grocery stores and to answer any questions before and during our visit. We tried Tender Greens and Hodads restaurants and loved them both! Vons and Trader Joes worked great for groceries too. I highly recommend the home. If we come back, this is where we would like to stay.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this home in San Diego during the month of January. The occasion was for our son's wedding, who lives nearby. It was perfect for us, with lots of room for socializing, and private bedrooms for my adult children, with good bathroom space. OUr favorite place was the deck upstairs and we enjoyed lots of time visiting with one another, enjoying the view, and relaxing. We encountered a big rainstorm and felt like we had enough space to spread out in the house from the den, the living room, and spacious bedrooms. Staying in this home added good memories to a wonderful family wedding.

Our two families spent a wonderful week in this comfortable home. Even with local guests over, there was plenty of space for visiting, watching TV, playing (outside playhouse for kids) or working on a computer. It's a highly decorative home too with beautiful views of the ocean from the upper balcony. Located in a quiet, residential neighborhood, most attractions we visited were within three miles. It shows that the owners care about their home and their guests.

We stayed at the house in October. We were a family of about 6 adults and 3 kids. Its a very beautiful, large & spacious house. Very airy and has an open feel to it. We also hosted a party for close friends & family and it easily accommodated about 50 folks.The backyard is smaller than it appears in the pictures, but the kitchen, family room and deck all flow nicely to the yard to accommodate guests. The upstairs deck (with the hot tub) is absolutely lovely for a relaxed evening or after a long day site seeing. The owners are wonderful folks and very helpful. The house was clean and well maintained. It is also conveniently located close to the beach and sea world. It is a short drive to restaurants & grocery stores. Overall a wonderful location, family friendly and I look forward to going back.

I stayed in this villa in may of 2008 with 6 of my collegues. We were in town for a convention and experienced this place at a great place to stay. Within 15 minutes we were at the convention center, Baseball stadium and the bars downtown. Close to the beach, well equiped and very spacious!

We had a great time at this beautiful home. It was spacious, comfortable and clean and in a great location with cool ocean breezes. We loved all the decks and the children had a blast in the play-house. The amount of space gave us the opportunity to all be together when we wished or enough space to be alone if we needed. Ocean Beach is a fun little town with a great Farmers Market, interesting shops and some good eating spots. We'd highly recommend this home and look forward to another visit.

We will never forget our Ocean Beach vacation. Three generations of our family came from different parts of the U.S. to this wonderful home. The owners were extremely helpful in supplying with maps and recommending good spots to visit. The house has large rooms opening onto three different decks and has a wonderful indoor/outdoor feel. We loved sitting on the patio enjoying the view of the Sea World fireworks and the lovely cool beach climate. The grandchildren had a great time playing in the play house. The home was well equipped and had comfortable beds, good linens and plenty of towels. We would definitely recommend this home and look forward to our next visit.

And very loud airplane noise...The house itself was large and had nice features and layout, but was extremely dirty and had a very serious pest problem. There was also no airconditioning, which if it had been installed, probably would have reduced both the air traffic noise and pest issue. While the owner was nice and responsive up untl our stay, when I mentioned our issues post-stay, we got no response. I wouldn't recommend this house to anyone, which is unfortunate, because it has the potential to a very nice upmarket property.
Owner response:We live about four blocks away, the tenant should have contacted us and we would have addressed any issues they had, we did see them during their stay they seemed very happy. When they vacated they left a lot of garbage which will attract ants. Their main upset was the cleaning fee which they wanted us to waive. The house is on top of a hill and gets continuous sea breezes, non of the surrounding houses have air conditioning as it is not neccessary
