Beautiful Ocean City, NJ property with all the amenities of home. This is a nicely decorated non-smoking 2nd floor duplex on the ocean side of tree lined Asbury Ave, just 2 short blocks to the beach. It has an open floor plan with cathedral ceilings and sleeps 8. The kitchen has granite counters and island, and stainless steel appliances including a refrigerator with ice and water on the door. The kitchen has maple cabinets with crown molding and a hardwood floor. The kitchen table has seating for 6 plus 3 stools around the island.
The adjoining family room includes 42" flat screen TV (not shown in pictures - will update those soon) and DVD above a gas fireplace. It has new carpet and new furniture including 2 couches, a chair, and a leather coffee table. The couch opens to a full size sofa bed. Double french doors open to a large covered front deck with table and chairs and an electric George Foreman outdoor grill. Plenty of room for relaxing after a day at the beach.
The master bedroom features a vaulted ceiling, queen bed, TV, large sliding glass door to back deck, and an adjoining bathroom with shower. The 2nd bedroom also features a vaulted ceiling and sliding glass door access to the back deck. This bedroom has a bunk bed with twin bunk on top and full size futon bed on the bottom. It includes a TV/DVD. The 3rd bedroom has two twin beds. All include tasteful decorations and bed spreads.
The property has central air conditioning and a washer and dryer. All bedrooms and the family room have ceiling fans. An enclosed outdoor shower is located on the side of the house and allows for easy clean up and changing after a day at the beach.
An alley way around the back of the house provides access to the driveway and garage. There is off street parking for 2 cars and street parking available in the front of the house (no meters). It is an easy walk to the boardwalk, beach (2 blocks), restaurants, library, and community center (which has indoor pool, fitness center, tennis and basketball courts). The library (17th between Haven and Simpson) has free wireless internet access and is open 7 days a week. Park your car in the garage or driveway and forget it for the week!
Ocean City is a wonderful family friendly resort town with lots to offer - beautiful sand beaches, a multitude of restaurants and shops, nearby water sports and golf, and boardwalk entertainment including a ferris wheel, water park, and rides. This property is located in the 17th Street block on Asbury Ave (ocean side), just 2 blocks to the beach and the residential section of the boardwalk. The east-west blocks are very short at this part of the island. 18th street has stop signs and traffic lights which make for an easy trip to the beach with children or lots of gear. It is walking distance to all of the boardwalk entertainment (centered around 9th street) yet without all of the noise and congestion. 6 beach tags are also included for your use.

This vacation & vacation home ranks among our family's favorites. The home is perfectly located for a quiet, relaxing family get-away. We were able to easily find our way around the darling, quaint town. We walked to the town, the beach & the boardwalk with our children. The owners were outstanding & kind to us through all the previous months since our booking. They answered so many of our questions & made sure that everything in their home was clean & working. They are the TOP in our opinion. This experience with the lovely home, perfect location, and wonderful homeowners has made for the best of memories. Thank you!

We had a wonderful vacation experience at this rental. It is spacious and clean with all the comforts of home! The location provides convenience to the beach, boardwalk, local shops and restaurants while being far enough away from all the crowds and noise. I would highly recommend this rental and plan on returning next year.

This is a perfect vacation rental home. The home was comfortable, clean, nicely furnished and most of all in a perfect location. Just 2 blocks from the boardwalk and beach. Close enough to walk to the shops and businesses in town, yet far enough away to not have the crowds, noise and traffic. I would recommend this property to anyone looking for the perfect rental.
