December was almost fully booked, then some last minute cancellations and now it's available almost the entire month. This condominium is too nice and Sapphire beach too wonderful to be neglected . Our loss is your gain!

For any reservation of five or more nights: November 29 through December 19: $99.00 per night; December 20 through December 23: $155.00 per night. December 30 through Jan 5 $599.00 for the five nights! These rates are for double occupancy. For additional occupants add $16.00 per occupant. Also add $50.00 Housekeeping for any rental, and 3% for credit-card payment.


This condominium has been owned by our family which has been enjoying the magic of Sapphire for over fifty years. It was largely renovated and offered for rental for the first time in late 2007. The condo is located just minutes from Red Hook where you can find groceries, restaurants, shopping and access to the ferries which can whisk you away to St. John or the British Virgin Islands.

The condo is only one hundred and fifty steps from the front door to the beach. While on the beach you can see St. John and the British Virgin Islands. Because the unit is on the lower level, when you arrive you park at the rear of the unit and bring your luggage and groceries into the unit by walking about thirty-five feet from your car and up just four steps, rather than lugging them around to the front of the building and up a long flight of stairs. Additionally, because one member of the family is wheelchair-bound a small ramp has been added at the front entrance for wheelchair access.

The unit retains the original floor plan, except that the original front porch has been enclosed and now expands the already large living/dining room, and a large fenestration has been cut between the kitchen and living/dining area.

The unit contains its own washer and a light-duty dryer. For drying wet towels and such, there is a solar powered "clothesline" just outside the rear door. There are two televisions, and "basic digital cable" (a total of approximately twenty channels) is included. Local phone service and Wi-Fi internet access are included.

In late 2007, the unit was "stripped", repainted, partially redecorated, and many improvements made. The following were replaced with brand new units: refrigerator, oven, gas stove, air-conditioner compressor, bedroom and living room ceiling fans, bedroom mattress, front and rear doors, front windows, shower fixtures, and almost all kitchen utensils and small appliances.

Refinished furniture was obtained to replace most of the original living room furniture, and the frame of the Murphy bed was repainted. The original "Futon" has been reupholstered. There are two DVD players, a VHS unit and and two stereo systems.

The locks have been removed from all closet doors. We do our best to keep "starter supplies" of non-perishable essentials in the unit, so you won't have to begin your stay buying things like coffee filters and dish detergent.

To ensure continued enjoyment by all occupants, smoking and pets are not permitted.

Please note that rental is higher than shown below during "prime times" such as, Easter, President's Week, Thanksgiving, "Spring Break" and so on.

ITRAVEX: Now that iTravex has made things simple, we welcome iTravex guests at all times with one iTravex point = one USD.

SHORT STAYS: Although we generally require a minimum of a three night stay, we accept one and two night stays if they "mesh" well with existing reservations or are very short notice.

LONG STAYS: Except for "prime times" stays over ten days will be discounted on an individual basis.

    • WiFi (Wireless Internet): Included in the rental. There is also an HP "four-in-one" printer, copier, scanner, fax, which can be accessed with a wireless or wired (USB) connection. Although the fax portion is not yet set up, there is also a dedicated fax machine, which is set-up, if you should desire to send or receive a fax.
  • Other Amenities
    • Loads of closet and drawer space (although you will need to bring very little clothing), "hotel safe" large enough for almost all laptops, loads of linens and towels, iron and ironing board, Two hair dryers, Tennis rackets and balls (not for the serious), Masks, Snorkels, Fins (also for the casual). We endeavor to have everything you will need at the condo so that you only have to bring some clothing, swimsuits, toiletries and (if necessary) medications with you, and purchase only food and beverages on island.

I know the Island very well and this is my favorite location. The Condo is perfect, it had everything you could think of and more! We would recommend it to everyone.

    • Words can not describe fully the experience you will have in the Condo. Just bring you clothes and food and you will be set everything else has been thought of. The kitchen is very well equiped, I have seen haouse with less, Livingroom very spacious and comfortable, bedroom very spacious and real matteresses. Just a few short steps and you will be on avery wonderful snorkle spot, sea turtles, sting rays, conch, and more just a few steps away. Red Hook is not far away for night life. Their is a tennis court and a salt water swimming poof to use. Norma the housekeeper is wonderful and knowledgeable about the area for first timers. The room guide is also a good thing to read even for someone who has been to the island before. This resort does not suffer from the problems other resorts on island have as to being corporate owned, or a timeshare. We have stayed at a few other resorts on island and have had bad experiences. Our overall experience was excellent and would rent again and again.

    • Steve, Wow! B11 was even better than the description. What a wonderful condo, so clean and well equipped. It had everything a vacationer could ask for. And the beach...it was paradise - great snorkeling and beautiful sandy beaches. We fell in love with your island. Thank you for letting us stay in your unit. It was truly a pleasure. Lisa P.S.     • Another great visit to St Thomas! Steve and Honey were very easy to work with on the rental. The condo had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. A short walk of 1 minute to the water and my wife and I spent each day on the beach.Pool out the back door with tennis courts next to it. Used the pool (great the only ones there) but not the courts. Shopping and restaurants close by in Red Hook helped when we had to leave the sanctity of B-11. Highly recommend this location for a family or couple that doesn't need room service and wants to enjoy doing things for themselves. Make dinner, lunch or breakfast with everyone planning or recapping their day all in one room. We loved listening to the cd player and just talking about not wanting the week to end.

    • The owners of this codno made our first trip to St Thomas a spectacular one. The weather was just perfect and I could not have asked for a more! The beach was certainly the most beautiful on the island and the snorkeling was truly amazing. We have developed a new found appreciation for rum! We took a day trip to St. Johns which we also enjoyed! The accomodations were perfect. The condo is such a beautiful place and they truly have thought of everything to make it comfortable and homelike. The grounds staff were very helpful and just a joy to chat with. I will certainly be keeping their contact information for future trips.

    • My famiy took our first vacation to St. Thomas, and it was wonderful. Our stay at Steven's condo made the trip convenient and hassle free. Everything you need is already there, and if you need to buy any supplies, groceries are close by. Also the ferry, auto barge, and passenger only, are very close too. Four of us including two teenage sons had more than enough room. The condo also has comfortable beds, great air conditioning,and is very clean. We enjoyed using the BBQ Steven provides for B11. Another nice feature, since our purpose was to enjoy the water, was a cabnet fully stocked with all the snorkeling gear we needed. This prevented us from having to haul all that stuff on the airplane. Also, Sapphire Beach, right outside your door, was one of the best we found on St Thomas, or St Johns. What a great vacation!     • We are just back from a fabulous vacation . We are re-energized and invigorated. Sapphire Beach by far is the best beach on St Thomas. It can not be compared to the island’s Magen Bay or Coki Beach, and while Trunk Bay on St John's is lovely, it does not have the view nor the breeze. Therefore, Sapphire Beach rates at being #1 in our book. The condominium is just great with plenty of room and privacy having everything to make its guests' stay a pleasant one and lack for want of anything . The king size bed and Murphy beds were extremely comfortable. No one lost any sleep. The kitchen has what it takes to whip up a meal comfortably and the dining view from the condo is inviting, as it beckons you everyday to come take a dip! The location of the condo apart from being at the best beach (did I say the "best beach!") is such a positive. We walked to the marina and set out on an evening cruise to see the sun set with dinner on The New Horizon. We took a short drive into Red Hook ate at Molly Malones , frequented the Food Center for groceries, and hopped on the car ferry to St Johns. Although we shopped in Charlotte Amalie, visited Coral World, and ventured out to dine and experience Carnival Night at Iggy's & The Ritz Carlton...you really do not have to leave the Sapphire Beach Condos to experience the best which the Island has to offer.
