Cedar log chalet, "Riversong", nestled in tall pines at water's edge, with 900 ft. of waterfront, 16 ft. canoe, spacious deck, abundance of wildlife, and lots of privacy. Reached by a 1/4 mile woods road from a state highway. Walkway to dock with ladder and excellent deepwater swimming. A naturalist's delight, a reader's retreat or a perfect honeymoon cottage. Enjoy extended canoe or kayak trips upriver, passing through quiet ponds.
Only 12 miles to the coast for amusement: schooner daysails, art & marine museums, Camden Hills State Park hiking trails, Bay Chamber Concerts, etc.
You will find a cozy interior inside the cabin itself. A Canadian white cedar log chalet with both a woodstove and a Monitor propane heater for instant warmth. There is a European shower in the sauna.
From the wide deck, watch blue heron, beaver,loons on the river, and deer grazing on the fields across the water. Also, there are striped bass to fish for!!
