Beautiful Lake Austin Waterfront with a private sandy beach and shallow, protected swim area right out your back door! Two large decks out over the water with plenty of patio and lounge furniture for your pleasure.
Enjoy all kinds of recreation and relaxation in the very large 120 foot wide yard that is shaded by huge trees and slopes gradually down to the cool waters of Lake Austin. Large gas grill on back patio for your family cookout.
*Patio dining table for 4 and deck dining furniture for 12+.
*Indoor kitchen table seats 6 and adjacent bar area seats 8.
*House has 3 Queen beds and 2 Sleeper Sofas,
*2 bathrooms- one with a shower and one with a footed tub.
*Den has 32" TV, DVD player and a beautiful view of the lake.
Get out on the water in one of the two Kayaks provided, bring your own boat or rent one for a day or two. Launch your boat conveniently at the private ramp at the Neighborhood Park just 1 minute away. Premium Mooring Whips provided for your boat on the lower deck right by the sandy beach and shallow swim area for easy enjoyment. Access and use of the waterfront Neighborhood Park available for Vacation Rental Guests includes 25 meter pool, baby pool*(pool has seasonal hours and operation, closed Mondays) Basketball and volleyball courts, horse shoe pit, playscape and picnic tables with charcoal grills are open year round.
This is a place for nature lovers and water sports enthusiasts as well. Located off of Bee Caves Road (2244) between Capital of Texas Hwy.(360) and 71 on the "close in" side of the lake. Very close to One World Theater, and brand new Austin Galleria Mall and Shops yet only about 20 minutes from 6th Street, down town and all that the "Live Music Capital of the World" has to offer.
Lake Austin Spa Resort, recently rated the top spa in the country by Conde' Nast, is just a short boat ride away for a massage or other deluxe spa treatment of your choice,or we have a great RMT who will come to the house or deck. Also you can go in your boat to several excellent places to eat on the lake like County Line Barbeque,Hula Hut Mexican Food and Ski Shores Hamburgers which often has live music as well.
Lake Austin is great for kayaking, tubing, wake boarding early morning water skiing and year round fishing. Kids (and adults!) will enjoy the sandy beach and shallow swim area for hours on end. Many Bass and Perch have been caught right off the dock which is also frequented by a family of swans during cooler weather, and ducks during warmer weather, that come very close to eat torn pieces of bread tossed their way.
Big turtles come into the cool shade to bury their eggs and cross back and forth from the yard to the water. At least one family of ducks usually nests in the elephant ear plants near the swim area in the spring and can be seen coming and going with little ones. Fireflies flash at night and there are usually very few (if any) mosquitoes due to the cool breeze that constantly blows off of the water keeping the air several degrees cooler than other areas.
There are 3 boat slips on the property. One is used by the owner; the other 2 are used by respectful, courteous friends who occasionally access their boats by using a dedicated pathway along the perimeter of the property. Vacation Rental guests may secure their boat using our Cabela's 12' Premium Mooring Whips. The mooring whips are designed to secure one boat alongside the dock (up to 23 feet or 5,000 lbs.) Only one boat is allowed.

Why the Owner Chose Austin
There is just something about being near that water that is good for the soul. The big trees on the property are an awesome presence. The Pecan tree in the front of the house is a magnificent mature tree that puts out more delicious pecans each year than we can harvest. This is why we also have many fat and happy squirrels! The huge tree near the back patio is about 200 years old and is a reminder that some things last longer than we do. The beach and the decks are so enjoyable that we believe the experience ranks with almost any place on earth.
It is our pleasue to share this slice of heaven with other families and their friends. We lived there for five years,enjoyed every minute and look forward to moving back one day. We consider it a gift to share with other families and hope that you will love it as much as we do!

The lake home was PERFECT for our family gathering. Watching the grandchildren play on the beach with the toys was the highlight. But having the boat close by, the fire pit for marshmellows and the big grassy lawn for sports was just wonderful. The four outdoor seating areas--patio, upper boat deck, lower boat deck and beach chairs let all of us spread out for quiet times and good visits. Raft floating with the gentle waves was fun and kayaking to explore the shoreline across the lake exciting. We were on the go with our three generations. We grilled at night and never left the house except by boat to explore and ski the wonderful lake. We even went by boat to Ski SHores for burgers once. Thanks for a wonderful time at the Beach House. It was perfect. Relaxed and beautiful. we sat on the upper deck and watched the sun set. Had coffee in the morning listening to the birds sing and talking to the ducks that came up to join us for breakfast.. We kayacked, canoed rented a boat for sightseeing and my daughter and her fiancee waterskied for the first time. We enjoyed Austin, but the best time was at the beach house.
