This gorgeous and very spacious cabin sits at the edge of a forest. Imagine my delight! In addition to the porch swings at either end of the front porch, there was also a tree swing for the young ones.
Inside, I found everything in perfect order for some much needed pampering. The beds were extremely comfortable, and the couch provided a cozy place to play board games around the table. To unwind at the end of the day, a hot soak by candlelight in the claw foot tub was perfect! If you make prior arrangements with the owners, you can also use the two-person hot tub. A door from the master suite opens directly onto the deck where the hot tub is located.
From the high-end bathroom fixtures to the well-appointed kitchen, I had everything needed to stay indoors for the entire weekend. However, being so close to the great Rocky Mountains, that wasn’t an option for me! I ventured into Estes Park a few times for dining and strolling and shopping. I also took a “ghost tour” of the famous Stanley Hotel and learned a lot about its grand history.
The owners were helpful and very kind.

We brought nine adults and four children to this cabin, and we had more than enough space for everyone. The rooms, kitchen, master bath, deck and view were all outstanding. The location was just the right distance from Estes Park. We will definitely plan to return in the future!Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers.

I'm a little late in posting this, but better late than never! We are a group of seven 40-something friends from high school, and we enjoyed a fantastic long weekend together in this home. It is absolutely GORGEOUS! We were very comfortable there. I think the bedding was my favorite thing...wonderfully plush...I didn't want to get out of bed! But once we did, we enjoyed having our morning coffee on the deck. We also enjoyed having some cold brews and cocktails out there! We prepared all our meals in the well-equipped kitchen. We had no problem finding all the cookware and utensils we needed. Plenty of counter space to make our mojitos! :-) Nice big dining table where we could all eat and play games together. Dena was very well organized, covered all the bases and provided everything we needed...right down to the robes and slippers! She was very patient in answering all my questions as we were making our plans, and was very accommodating about everything, including our request to check-in early and check-out late! She was great! The only thing we were a little disappointed about was the location of the TV. It is in the entryway with two armchairs, rather than in the living room where there is plenty of seating. I thought I should mention that in case watching TV or movies together as a family was important to any potential renters. But, really, who goes up to Estes to watch TV, right? We just played games instead. We really enjoyed our stay, and wanted to come back again this Labor Day, but we have another person this year and will need another bedroom. We're really sad not to be able to come back to this beautiful home, but hope to have another opportunity to stay here sometime. I absolutely recommend this home!!Recommended for: Girls getaway, families with young children, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

We just rented this house while in Colorado visiting Rocky Mountain National Park and enjoyed our stay at this beautiful log home tremendously. It is new, clean, and beautifully decorated with a rustic theme which fits perfectly with the surrounding. In addition, high class glassware, stove, oven, grill, and along with a Bose stereosystem should be complemented. The free long distance phone calls and wireless internet are added services which usually are not offered at rental homes. Great place!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 2/2

About the owner: Tom and I have lived in Wyoming most of our entire life. We have been married for 27 years and have 3 children that are now grown and given us 9 beautiful grandchildren. This home is dedicated in the memory of our Mother "Noni". She had very strong family beliefs and taught us just how important family time is.
Why the Owner Chose Estes Park:
We have always LOVED Colorado and enjoyed spending time exploring all it has to offer. It was not our original intention to buy a "Vacation Rental". We were simply looking for our own little "get away" and ended up wanting to share it with the rest of the world.
The Unique Benefits at this Cabin:
Total Relaxation! Close to Nature and Shopping!! What more could you ask for?? Time spent with friends and family and all the cherished memories that can made at our "cabin in the woods" The home brings us great enjoyment and true happiness being able to share it with families so that they too can build memories of their own.
