E komo mai...Our condo is located just one block from the beach, in the family-friendly Waikiki Banyan complex. It is located on the 23rd floor of Tower 1 (the Makai Tower), with a sparkling view of Diamond Head. We offer a large lanai where you can watch Waikiki come alive each morning, while planning your next adventure in Paradise.
There are countless things to do within walking distance to the Waikiki Banyan: Kuhio Beach, Honolulu Zoo (Twilight Tours every Saturday evening), world-class shopping, fine dining (Sam Choy's, Ruth's Chris Steakhouse, Cheesecake Factory, just to mention a few) and fast foods, 24-Hour Fitness Center, Waikiki Aquarium (check out the Hawaiian Monk Seals), International Marketplace, Kapiolani Park (where the Honolulu Marathon ends), Waikiki Shell, Waikiki Bandstand, City Library, Ala Wai Golf Course.
There are plenty of non-touristy things to do as well: Kapahulu Avenue is two blocks over, where you can stroll slightly off the beaten track to the "local" area. You'll find authentic eats at Ono Hawaiian Foods, Snorkel Bob's, the Running Room, Peg's Picks, just to mention a few.
Although a car is not necessary, if you decide to rent one, parking (with in/out privileges) is included with the rental. If you haven't rented a car and would like to go beyond walking distance, the public bus stop is at the conveniently located on the corner of Tower 1. The open air lobby and drive through at the Waikiki Banyan makes for easy shuttle/cab access.
