Accommodations: Condo, 3 Bedrooms + Other (See Description), 2 Baths (Sleeps 8)
Keywords: Condominium, beachfront, oceanfront
This unit sleeps 8 (1-king, 1-queen, 2 sets of bunk beds in the kid's room; king and queen rooms have private balconies over water).
Located on the most exclusive beach of Isla Mujeres, Sac Bajo, Casa de Mis Tres Ales, (Puerta al Mar unit 201) is part of a Brand New (completed October, 2007), but rather intimate 24-unit 5-story condominium that features expansive views of our private beach, tremendous pool and the Bahia de Mujeres. You will be astounded by your ability to see through the translucent water to the coral reefs in the morning as you take breakfast prepared in the unit's full kitchen, and by the sunsets over Cancun in the evening. The double sliding glass doors recede into the walls to create an expansive space connecting the living room and balcony. Full water views are readily apparent from the Living Room, Kitchen, and Master Bedroom. There are three separate balconies, all overlooking the water. This is an end unit, so peace and quite predominate, as does light afforded by the extra windows found only in end units.
All mattresses are 'high end' pillow toppers. Each bedroom and bath are spectacular and wonderfully appointed, with mostly original artwork and handmade furniture. The two guest bedrooms, also with their own balcony, feature views of the Marina and Lagoon (one guest bedroom features a queen bed for two adults and its own private balcony over the lagoon; the other features two sets of bunk beds for four adults or kids). This unit is furnished with handmade tables, couches, chairs, beds and cabinets...the handiwork of Luis Alberto, an Isla resident and carpenter. Gym facilities and wireless internet are also present.

We had the opportunity to stay on Isla Mujeres mid-January. WOW is all I can say! This was the first time my husband and I flew out of the country with our two young sons (ages 4 and 6) and what an incredible trip it was! I was apprehensive and Ron was very helpful with putting my mind at ease. He was available to give us hints and tips we would not have known otherwise. Be sure to ask him for his tip sheet, which is very informative. Not only is the owner amazing, but the condo is breath taking. Seriously, the pictures do not give it justice!! It has marble floors throughout, recessed doors, and AMAZING views. To be honest, my favorite was the recessed doors. The view at sunset is something that cannot be described. Also, we liked that the kitchen is equipped with everything we could have needed to cook delicious meals, minus the food. (There were condiments in the fridge and basics in the cupboard.) The condo building itself is equally as impressive. There is a gym, a nice pool, and friendly staff. I also love the location. It is quiet, yet only a quick golf cart or taxi ride to the market. Since we have returned home, the boys have asked constantly when we can go back. As a mother, nothing warms my heart more. I feel so fortunate to have found a place that we will be visiting for many years to come.

I'll start with the bottom line by saying that we're already planning our next trip to Casa Mis Tres ales - the only question is which lucky friends/family get to join us. When you arrive on the island, you're first clue that you've chosen wisely is the impressed response of your cab driver. After a short drive, you're in a quiet, secluded area facing Cancun. The building is beautiful and the grounds maintained to perfection. The condo is on the 2nd floor with views of sparkling water from every balcony (living room and master face Cancun, back views island's lagoon), for private outdoor sunrise and sunsets. It felt bigger than our home. You can control the temperature from every room, which is really nice. The kitchen has everything you need to make a nice family meal, and plenty space to share it. The pool outside is cleaned every morning, and there are rarely more than 3 or 4 other guests using it. We saved a lot of money over playa norte bars by bringing a little cooler with drinks to the swim-up bar. The beach has beautiful white sand, and there are clubs to the north and south. As for location, it's ideal because you are within a 60 peso cab ride to anywhere on the island, and you have all the privacy of being tucked away in your own paradise. The island is amazing, with tranquil waters to the north and west, and breaking waves from the Caribbean to the east and south. The food is great - we pretty much ate fresh fish every meal. One of our favorites was amigos Restaurant on Hidalgo St - the Ceviche is the best anywhere. We also had some of the best dives of any place we've been , with great visibility and lots of fish and colorful coral. The biggest adventure was catching a 7 foot sailfish from a small panga boat. Hopefully I haven't convinced you that Isla Mujeres is a great place to visit, and Casa Mis Tres ales is not the perfect place to stay. That way, there won't be any problem getting availability for my next trip...

This was my first incursion into Mexico, so I wasn't exactly sure what to expect. To my great surprise, I found a treasure in Isla Mujeres and this condo unit made my week stay all the more beautiful. When my friends and I arrived, all of the rooms, bathrooms, and kitchen were immaculately clean. Then, there's the view and balcony...so, so nice. I honestly could've just lounged out there my entire stay and would have been completely content. I highly recommend a stay in this unit. The owner was extremely responsive and helpful with questions prior to going. Directions to the property were spot on. When I return to Isla Mujeres, I'm definitely staying here again!

My family and I stayed at Casa Mis Tres for approximately 5 days in June and we had a FABULOUS time. The entrance to the condo is exquisite and everybody that works at the condo is very friendly and helpful. The condo is absolutely beautiful with wonderful views. We enjoyed looking out at the water during sunset from the huge balcony. The condo is away from downtown which alleviates a lot of noise and traffic. In addition, there is a WONDERFUL taquiera within walking distance to the unit. We had a wonderful family trip...everybody (there were 7 of us) was extremely comfortable staying here.

"I had a wonderfully fantastic time with my 5 friends staying here at Puerto Al Mar. The condo is beautiful, stocked with all the necessary needs to stay for any length of time. The facility is immaculately kept, with gorgeous yard work, lovely pool, and wonderfully kind staff to help out. The condo is right on the ocean, close to a restaurant (with affordable and great food), and near the turtle sanctuary and dolphin place. It is 15 minutes by golf cart from the condo to the city center. Close enough to zip in, but nicely tucked away from all the hustle of tourism. It was very easy to get from Cancun, across the ferry, and to the condo. We took a trip from Isla Mujeres to Tulum and Xel-Ha, through USA transfer, which made it very simple to explore outside the island. I would absolutely come back here! What an amazing time!"

This condo is incredibly beautiful. It is well-managed, with very friendly staff. The views are breath taking. We easily had six people (and could have fit 2 more without a problem), and we didn't feel cramped for space at all. The condo is in excellent condition; there is a great private pool and beach space. The condo is in walking distance from a lot of great attractions (e.g., turtle rescue facility/hatchery, dining locations, dolphin park) and it is a short taxi or golf-cart ride away from the main town square. The listing does not do this place justice - it far exceeded my expectations!! I am already planning my next trip back. I would HIGHLY recommend this condo.
