While this secluded oceanfront chalet in West Pennant is just 25 minutes to the heart of Halifax, it feels like you're a million miles from any city. It's a very secluded old fishing village with lots of incredible outdoor experiences- canoeing, kayaking, hiking, swimming, etc.. The village has only a dozen homes, some of which are occupied only on a seasonal basis.
The newly constructed chalet is 1250 ft2 has an open concept. It's hard to find a spot in the house without an unobstructed view of the ocean- very few man made features in the view. The bow shaped house front is covered with south-facing windows. The downstairs has a small but full bathroom, a bedroom, a living room, dining room and full kitchen with granite counter tops, custom furniture, exotic hardwood floors, copper accents, wood stove and lots more.
The upstairs is completely open with a claw foot tub, double bed, open bathroom, and great empty loft/sun area that's ideal for yoga, napping, reading, drawing, etc..
