June 2011. I just wanted to thank you for your efforts to make our stay at Mi Amo a holiday we'll always remember. It was fantastic! The apartment was all we had hoped for from the photo's we saw on your website. What you see there is exactly what you get and your description of the apartment and its surrounding location is all true. No unpleasant surprises, only good ones from the time of our arrival until our departure. The Airport transfers you arranged for us were so easy and relaxed. Everyone where you had said they would be at the right time. Your greeting and information at our initial meeting was superb and your special touches in the apartment were everwhere to be seen even including the candles for our evenings on the balcony with it's breathtaking views! Our holiday was magical. Thank you Christine.

My family and I recently had the pleasure of staying at Coco, Belle and Mi Amo on our Mediterranean vacation this past April. We rented all three apartments and could not have been happier with our accommodations. Christine met us at the apartments, had a porter waiting to take our suitcases down the stairs and gave us a personal tour of the properties. Her restaurant recommendations, maps of the islands and Fira, and list of "must see" sights were invaluable. The houses were comfortable and nicely decorated and had every amenity you could need. The views from the patios were the best and we found we spent most of our time out there having a drink and relaxing. The walking path into Fira was convenient and had amazing views. I know the next time we vacation in Santorini we will be staying here!

Perfect villa - absolutely great!

Absolutely loved our stay at Coco & Belle (above Ti Amo). Christine was great and very helpful in making our stay enjoyable. You're given a cell phone to reach her and she helped arrange our car rental, which was delivered and picked up in the parking lot you arrive in. Both the master bedroom and the twin bed in the main house were comfortable. Both bathrooms were great. There was plenty of closet space in the main bedroom. The maid cleaned it every 3 days and you could choose new sheets or just new towels. The water did need to be turned on 20 minutes prior to get hot water (not a problem, but the water would still get intermittently cold when showering). Having free wifi was great but you had to be outside, far on the veranda. Just some quirks about living in a very thick house! Cell phone reception as well only worked when outside. The tv turned on but there is no cable. The bathroom in the studio is VERY small and claustrophobic, but the larger bathrooms in the main house were spacious. The only thing that would make the villa even more perfect would be having a washer/dryer. We hand washed & also took some laundry to Penguin in Fira but that was quite expensive but same day service. Having an iron, and the little things that make life comfortable were great! Even the US to EUR adapters and ipod charger were helpful! Enjoyed meeting the local cats... and enjoyed the sun on the veranda. It was semi private as there are no verandas directly next to you, only above you and to the side a few restaurants. I would advise anyone that there are quite a few steps down to the villa, and one staircase is quite steep with no rails. The transfer & porter service went smoothly. We took the bus to Oia and enjoyed Ammoudi Bay, and also walked to Fira, a good 15-30minute stroll, but lots of steps again. We took a boat ride to the volcano, Thirassia, and Oia and took the donkey ride up. What an experience! Of our 3 week vacation in various countries, our favorite time was here at the villa in Imerovigli. I would recommend this to others and stay here again on my next trip!

Paradise on earth

I stayed at Mi Amo in September 2010. The experience is magical. Being in Santorini in such a wonderful villa was priceless. The appartement that was built in the cycladic architectural style and has been beautifully and tastefully decorated. Waking up in the morning, sitting on your private terrasse and seeing the most beautiful view the world has to offer made me want to cry everytime.... The villa is perfect for a couple, it is fully furnished so you feel like you almost live there(we wish!). It is very clean and everything has been thought about, from fully furnished kitchen (I made great breakfast every morning!) to wireless internet to a cell phone you can use to reach Christine if you need. Christine is the best. She really knows about great customer service and she goes the extra mile. She will help you build a dream vacation, from restaurant suggestions to site seeing to car rental, she is an encyclopedia of knowledge about the Santorini she loves so much. Drinking a glass of Santorini wine on our private balcony, watching a breathtaking sunset from one of the island's best locations is a memory I will cherish forever. All I can say is that this villa was perfect in every way. I cannot wait to go back again and again.

If you have never been to Santorini, stop what you are doing right now, get on a plane, and stay at the Mi Amo villa in charming Imerovigli. It has to be the most glorious and awe-inspiring place in the entire world. Mi Ami is the perfect accommodation for a couple, very private, and the HUGE terrace with a staggering view of the entire Caldera (with lounge chairs, and a romantic cushioned two-seater). Having explored other parts of Santorini, the view from Mi Amo has to be the BEST. The villa has everything you could need for your stay, including wifi internet, selection of music, A/C + powerful fan, cleaning service every two days, and well-stocked kitchen with spices and all crockery. Great for cooking a meal for two, enjoying a glass of local wine, watching the sunset, and then star gazing. There are grocery shops nearby to buy local produce, the staff at Jimmy's are very helpful and friendly. You can walk into the main town Fira in about 15-20mins, which is worth a visit but can be quite touristy as all the cruise ships stop there. The photos of the villa are gorgeous, but simply cannot do the villa justice, it is even more spectacular in person. Christine welcomed us upon arrival, and provided us with her own map of "must-sees" during our 4-day stay, which was a great help. We have recommended this villa to all our friends and family, and we will be back again in the future. Efharisto Christine!

Disappointing experience

This review is about the villa Coco & Belle only. We we disappointed : the housing was musty, so much that the sheets were wet all night. The kitchen was too small for cooking, the tap "exploded" every morning. You had to turn off the electricity meter before running water under pain of being electrocuted. Housing without any charm, finishes do not seem adequate (air vent under a carpet of the bathroom missing) ... All this for an excessive price. The last day, the person who was supposed to help us to carry the luggage (there are a lot of stairs to climb) never came. The only positive point is the view.

Although the villa has a few quirks, it is very comfortable and convenient to so many things. And the VIEW!!! The view will take your breath away! Christina, the manager, is incredibly helpful and friendly and did everything she could to make our stay enjoyable, from arranging a rental car, to recommending restaurants and sightseeing. A great value.

We had the chance to stay at Mi Amo last summer. It was an absolute privilege. We never seen such breathtaking views. We enjoyed as well Christine recommendations and hospitality, she really like the island and we can feel it throught her generosity. Mi Amo is lovely, romantic and private with an exclusive kitchen area and everything we need is nearby! I would say just try it! Thanks again Christine.

Fantastic Host with a Villa that is Just as Beautiful as the Pictures Make it Out to Be!!

I stayed in Coco & Belle with siblings and friends. We had an amazing time and have since recommended this place to many people (including our parents!). Christine was a great host full of suggestions and she even provided us with a map on which she had marked all of her favourite places to eat, beaches to visit and other things to see. She even highlighted certain ones based on our ages and on the duration of our visit. The villa is exactly as you see in the pictures. There is a small but well-equipped kitchen in the bigger of the two, Belle, and the other one, Coco, we used only for sleeping. The beds are clean as are the bathrooms. The water was a little bit cold at times, but it was kind of nice in the hot weather and should definitely not be the deciding factor on whether or not you rent Coco & Belle. The veranda is gorgeous and quite private as there were no villas directly on either side. The view from the veranda we thought was even better than that of Oia and we would recommend staying here for sure!!! -- THANKS AGAIN CHRISTINE! :)

My wife and I rented here for our huneymoon. We have both traveled alot of Europe and this was by far the most beautiful place we have been to. Between the food, sunsets, and service at the villa itself we were blown away. There is nothing like having your very own apartment on vacation!
