The Coconut Condo vacation rental is located on the sunny western Kona coast on the “Big Island” of Hawaii and features numerous luxurious amenities! From this spectacular tropical location you can watch sunsets or passing whales & dolphins. Or stroll across Ali'i Drive to Honl’s Beach and watch the boogie boarders showing off in the blue Pacific waves. The Coconut Condo is situated in a new gated complex which hosts a large natural outdoor pool, jacuzzi and workout facility. The grounds are smartly landscaped around several ancient Hawaiian archaeological sites with native tropical flowers, palms and vegetation. The Coconut Condo is beautifully decorated and has three spacious bedrooms, 2 baths, bar and dining room, living room, flat screen cable TVs, high speed internet access, central air conditioning, a fully equipped kitchen and a covered lanai (patio).
The Coconut Condo, your vacation home, gives you access to all of the Big Island's activities. The Big Island of Hawaii offers a tropical vacation with spectacular sunsets, waterfalls and dramatic views of the snow covered Mauna Kea volcano. Enjoy beautiful snorkel beaches, off shore diving, quaint places to shop and world class ocean front dining along Kona's prestigious Alii Drive. Tropical weather year round and located only fifteen minutes from Kona International Airport, the Kona Coast is famous for it’s fishing and has been called the “sports fishing capital” of the Pacific. Five huge mountain masses protect the Kona coast from the winds resulting in sea conditions that are usually as calm as a lake. The steep slope of the ocean bottom puts the deep sea sport fishing within a short distance from the shoreline. Just three miles straight out of the harbor, it's over 6000' deep. If you’re interested in discovering what’s below the surface of the Pacific you are able to snorkel or scuba dive at a multitude of coral reefs or for some real excitement do a night dive with giant Manta Rays off the Kohala Coast.
Play a round at one of the dozen award winning golf courses found along the Kona Coast. In October some of the fittest athletes from around the globe descend on Kailua-Kona for the annual Ironman Triathlon. From the Coconut Condo you can walk into town to watch the start and finish of this awesome event. Other seasonal events include outrigger canoe races, as well as food and cultural festivals. Nighttime fun is only steps away at the Beachcomber Bar or Huggo’s on the Rocks with the sensational sound of the all girl band Hot Lava (808) every Friday night.
A wide variety of restaurants and food vendors are located in the Coconut Grove market place where you can eat everything from sushi to burgers, top sirloin to salads, and ice cream to subs plus buy items such as elegant jewelry, clothing, locally created artwork and crafts, and children's fashions and toys.

Listing description was accurate; was wonderful to be within walking distance to downtown Kona; usually wandered into town most evenings. The condo was situated facing Alii Dr.; was great to watch whales, dolphins, etc. (with binoculars) from the lanai; condo was clean and well-maintained. The owners were great; easy to contact and very knowledgeable about the area. Would definitely recommend; was great to be able to cook our own meals and have room to spread out. Bubba Gump's was our favourite restaurant; favourite site to visit was Mauka Meadows coffee plantation (infinity pool was beautiful; was great to sample their coffee while enjoying the view). This was our second visit to Kona so didn't do a lot of sightseeing. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We just came back from a wonderful stay at Coconut Condo, the perfect place. It was walking distance to town and several beaches. The condo was beautifully furnished, the kitchen very well stocked, as was the bedrooms, linens, towels, etc... John and Jae were perfect hosts, with a big smile on their faces. We highly recommend staying here.

We recently stayed at the Coconut Condo and loved it. It was gorgeous, everything was immaculate and fresh. Somehow they have made it elegant and comfy at the same time! The bed and linens were very comfortable and the kitchen was stocked with staples and plenty of dishes and cookware. There were beach towels and umbrellas and even playing cards! It is a perfect location just down the road from a lovely little beach and a easy walk to town. Jae and John were perfect hosts, we really liked everything about it and will stay there again.

We recently had the pleasure of exploring Kona and area while staying at the Coconut Condo - what a wonderful time our entire family had! The condo is appointed beautifully with lots of room for each of the 6 of us to spread out. Mornings on the patio overlooking the ocean, even dinner one night in the dining room. It's a short walk to downtown Kona, and within the complex, there's a gorgeous pool/spa and workout facilities. Beach across the street with many beaches close by. The condo is equipped with everything you'll need - from blender to beach accessories, it made our trip a tropical breeze! Especially appreciated the recommendation book at the condo with suggestions for everything from best and most affordable restaurants to beaches to where to rent snorkle and kayak equipment. We felt as though we were natives! Thanks, John and Jae for making your Kona treasure available to us! We can't wait to come back... Much Mahalo! The Kaufman's

We just spent 3 terrific weeks at this condo and can't say enough good things about it. I guess the most important word is LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION! You are a 5 minute walk to all the action in town, with tons of markets, hops and restaurants. The pool is lovely and you are close to great snorkelling areas. Everything you need for living is in the condo, with a well equipped kitchen. Jae and John are great to deal with and you just can't go wrong staying here!

A wonderful place to stay, (so luxurious yet cozy and above all CLEAN) in the most amazing of settings. We truly loved the Big Island, especially Kona and will definately be back. With so many things to see and do how could we not. The pool area was lovely and you are so close to everything, great beaches, shopping, and restaurants. We give 4+ stars.
