Persuasion - 42 Savannah Street – Seaside, FL
Classic Persuasion is situated in the quaint town of Seaside, Florida. Located in the panhandle, Seaside resembles a modernistic approach to 'old Florida', with Cracker style beach houses and old time feel. The Bellamy Brothers' Persuasion is a three story beach house nestled in the middle of the village with 3 bedrooms and 2.5 baths and sleeps up to six people. This home decorated with sunny Florida decor sits just 150 walking steps to the white sand beaches and emerald green Gulf of Mexico. Enjoy all of the amenities of Seaside including the 3 pools (two are heated in winter), tennis, fitness center, croquet courts, shuffle boards and the many unique beach pavilions. Shop in the many quaint shops and delicious restaurants, bicycle through town, stroll down the hidden shady paths or just sit on the outdoor decks enjoying the gulf views.
Ground Floor: Mexican-tiled kitchen features custom-tiled counter tops, frig with icemaker, dishwasher, microwave, glass top range and breakfast bar with 3 stools. The large capacity washer/dryer is nearby. Living room features cathedral ceiling, leather sofa and love seat, coffee table, 36” LCD TV/DVD, and French doors leading to the outdoor dining area. The outdoor dining table is in a private screened porch and has table and 4 chairs. Carpeted Queen bedroom has 2 bedside tables and 2 lamps, ceiling fan, dresser with mirror, TV with DVD player (no cable in this bedroom) and French doors leading to the screened porch. Hall bath serving this floor has tub/shower and vanity sink.
Second Floor: Sweeping stair case leads up to the second floor. Carpeted Queen bedroom has 2 bedside tables, 2 lamps, dresser with mirror, ceiling fan, TV/VCR, French doors leading to a private balcony in the oak canopy and an adjoining bath with vanity sink and tiled shower. Hall powder room has vanity sink and a door leading into the shower area of the full bathroom on this floor.
Third floor: Loft twin bedroom has 2 twin beds with table and lamp between, dresser, TV/VCR, DVD player, ceiling fan and French doors leading to a roof top balcony with fabulous gulf views. You have panoramic view of the rooftops of Seaside and the gulf.
Outdoor Areas: Enjoy the warm water outside shower. Charcoal BBQ grill.
The Bellamy's visit the beach house a few times a year. The younger generation usually takes advantage of Persuasion when the opportunity arises or when they are swinging through while they are on tour. Otherwise, Persuasion is available for rent. - An off-road paved path parallels all 18.6 miles of Scenic HWY 30-A and runs along the emerald green and blue waters of the Gulf of Mexico. This path winds through nine distinctive beach communities, state parks, forests, dunes and coastal dune lakes. The paved trail is ideal for biking, hiking, jogging and rollerblading. As well, approximately 60% of our area is dedicated to preservation. We had such a great time this week. Your home is in a perfect location. It was so nice to walk to the beach and the pool. The Seaside area is quaint and friendly. What a fun place to visit! The house was perfect for us - our daughter loved the 3rd floor room. She acted like it was her own little house! She also lost a tooth while eating lunch on the porch - very fun for her! Thanks for the opportunity to stay here - we have such neat memories to take home.

Happy New Year. Cold again this week, but only rained mainly at night. Music & fireworks at Seaside for New Year's Eve was fun. Full moon ,on the beach, with all of those people - Beautiful. Didn't ride our bikes as much but walked a lot. Went to Baytowne & Silver Sands briefly. Ate at Shade's to watch football; Shorty's, Red Bar, Taco Bar, Bud & Alley's. Coffee nearly every morning at Amavida. Persuation is a wonderful spot to stay. Thank you...

One of our favorite places to vacation. We always have a great time when we come to Seaside. Many thanks to David & Howard, we love you guys! If you're looking for a great restaurant, check out Pompano Joe's in Miramar Beach - the best seafood! See you next time...

We had a great time at your house. It was a perfect place for our family. The only thing we didn't enjoy was the HOT weather. The screened porch was a wonderful place to sit and relax. It would be even more enjoyable in cooler weather. The amenities of the house such as the upstairs shower, the great hot water and well stocked kitchen were very enjoyable. Hopefully when we come back to Seaside, this house will be available again. We look forward to our next visit and more shaved ice!

The visit was very memorable for me & my friends, especially since it was her 16th birthday. The 2-year-old twins enjoyed their 1st time at Seaside & they definitely loved the ocean. Persuasion is very nice & I love having my own little floor upstairs. If you want to check out the beach at night, it's best to bring a flashlight, & the beach chairs are for rent, so don't use them thinking they're free. Cell service works best on 3rd floor! Take advantage of the walking distance to the stores because it's good exercise plus it's hard to find a place to park! The place was very nice & I hope I can come to visit many more years & write in this guestbook a few more times!
