  • Our youth group had such a wonderful time in December of 2008 at this cabin. When I asked them where they wanted to go this year they said, "Longhope Retreat". Everything we needed and more was there for us, and the pictures really don't do this place the justice that it deserves. We had a wonderful Christmas getaway with the young people of our church, and memories that will last forever. Ron is very helpful and pleasant to deal with. I know anyone who chooses The Longhope Retreat for whatever event they may have planned will be VERY satisfied with they're choice.

  • This is a beautiful property. There is so much to do on the actual property, that you don't need to leave if you don't want to! Small pond with fish, a stream behind the property, canoes to use, 2 fire pits, hot tub. Our kids loved fishing in the pond. It was so easy to catch and release the fish that they caught. We had a great campfire and when the kids were in bed, it was nice relaxing in the hot tub. The kitchen is extremely spacious with plenty of cookware to use. The beds were extremely comfortable. Ron, the owner, is so friendly and accomodating. Great time!
