Waiomina House is an authentic “paniolo” (Hawaiian cowboy) style dwelling which was originally home to the saddle maker for Parker Ranch. This home was designed for casual living, with a majestic view of Mauna Kea (Hawaiian for "white mountain") and an expansive outdoor living area and covered porches. The home is located in the heart of Waimea Town, close to shopping, restaurants, and just 20 minutes from the magnificent South Kohala beaches on the coast. Waimea is conveniently located between Hilo and Kona, making it easy for guests to access destinations all around the Big Island. Go star gazing at the summit of Mauna Kea, snorkeling between pristine coral reefs, horseback riding through the rolling hills of Waimea, or hiking to spectacular waterfalls. Waiomina House is a beautifully restored Parker Ranch house, complete with fireplace, native ohia wood beams, and even a hitching post. The home has four bedrooms, with two king beds, two double beds, and a bunk bed, and can accommodate individuals, families, or small groups of up to 8 people. There is a separate laundry house with a washer and dryer, and a fully equipped kitchen.
