LUXURY SECOND HOME IN SANDBRIDGE BEACH.
This three-bedroom, 3.5 bath condominium was designed by an award-winning interior designer with families in mind. The main living area sets the stage for relaxation in tones of ivory, seaglass and soft chamois. The large flat panel televisions (4 in all) offer every member of the family a chance to choose his own program, and the TWO balconies offer complete privacy for two separate groups.
The upscale kitchen boasts high-end appliances and every type of cooking utensil needed by the gourmet chef. The unit offers cozy luxury and a sense of home with hardwood floors, a second-floor master suite with private balcony, balcony views of the ocean and back bay, reading material and board games throughout, a washer and dryer, a tiled entrance and much more.
This condominium is kid-friendly with board games provided and a double/single bunk bed situation in the brightly-colored 'surfboard' room. Each of the three bedrooms and the living area are equipped with flat-screen HD televisions and DVD players. The master suite offers a Bose Wave Sound System.
The Sanctuary at False Cape Condominium resort offers amenities such as pools, outdoor grills and pavilions, club room, and an incredibly wide, peaceful beach. Only 15 minutes from the hustle and bustle of Virginia Beach's shopping, boardwalk and restaurants, this condominium complex still feels 'undiscovered' and quiet - the way beaches were years ago!
We are located in Building A, unit 401. Our building sits on the beach and our balconies overlook the center pool, with views of the bay and the ocean.
Previous renters of the condominium have described it as 'serene,' 'comfortable,' 'well-equipped' and 'functional for families.' This is not a 'sterile' rental unit. The entire unit has been custom painted and furnished with every detail in mind. It is a home away from home, and repeat renters represent the majority of summer rentals.
PLEASE NOTE THAT OUR HOME WILL NOT ACCOMMODATE MORE THAN SEVEN PEOPLE. WE SPECIALIZE IN RENTING TO FAMILIES.

We stayed in this condo for one week this summer. Upon arrival, we were very impressed with the condo. It was beautifully furnished and very home-like. The condo complex was quite nice as well. It has two different pools (actually, I think it has three but one wasn't opened), which was great for my 19 month old daughter! The pools aren't very big, but we found that the complex wasn't very crowded so often times we had the pool entirely to ourselves in the morning. The best part about the vacation was of course the beach. If you're traveling with children, I would highly recommend this unit. Getting onto the beach was a breeze. It is less than a 100 yard walk to the beach and the condo owners have a fantastic wheelbarrow type contraption that you can put all your beach gear in and wheel across the sand. We had a little trouble with parking (there is a space for one car, but the other car must park in the "compact spaces" in the garage), but we talked to the Condo complex's managerial people and they told us that even though we got a flyer every night saying our second car was going to be towed that they had never towed anyone and that it was just a warning. Overall, we had a fantastic time. The condo unit was absolutely lovely. It had everything we needed and then some. Having extra bathrooms was awesome - always helpful at the beach when everyone wants to take a shower at the same time. It was also very, very quiet, which was important to us because our daughter goes to bed at 7:30.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, people with disabilities.

My family with kids from age 2 to age 7 had an amazing vacation at Seaglass. We took full advantage of the well-equipped kitchen which meant less leaving the condo, and more beach!! The toy closet was a gold mine for my kids and made for hours of quiet play. The beach equipment shed is also a big bonus. We did not want for anything. I enjoyed the seclusion of the master bedroom on the top floor, with its own deck. We were glad to be able to use the pools sparingly for a break from the sand and salt. The owner is responsive and pleasant to deal with. Check-out/check-in procedures are a breeze.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 1/1

We had a great time, and in my opinion, this was a deal well worth the price. The cars park directly under the unit in covered and guarded parking, the storage unit where you find the beach gear is directly across from your parking spot (most people have to walk down a hallway to get to their storage area). The beach is clean, with a family atmosphere and when you get too hot or sick of the sand, either hit the fully stocked bar (open a tab for the day) or get into one of the three pools. Our kids loved the change up going from ocean to pool. The grills are arrayed so that each family can enjoy their meal comfortably and their high end taste and cleanliness were outstanding. Gas is supplied via pipe so you never run out and it's on a timer so you don't have to run back down if you forget to turn it off. The penthouse was perfect. Absolutely nothing to complain about or want to improve, even the televisions throughout the house were perfect for the kids to watch in their room before bed, while the adults sat outside on the balconies. I've never stayed at a place with my family where I didn't think something could be made better...but I've met my match. Even the customer service was great, every call answered within minutes. Well done Jackie and team. We will be back...if you'll have us?Recommended for: Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, people with disabilities.

The photos don't do this property justice. It is well-kept, beautifully decorated, and the owners have thought of everything. We bought groceries the first day and had everything we needed for cooking, so we didn't need to go out a lot. The two balconies gave us a relaxing view of water on both sides, and had a great breeze. The condo development itself is well-maintained and has a great location on the beach. We spent lots of time walking from the beach to one of the pools, our three pre-teen kids had a blast. We visited on Memorial Day weekend and would not have known that Virginia Beach itself was so crammed full of people -- things were quiet and relaxed at the Sanctuary. If you are looking for something really close to the boardwalk, etc. and downtown VA beach, this isn't it, as we were a good 20 to 30 minute drive away (and liked it that way!). In all, a long weekend here gave us exactly the relaxation and family time together that we wanted.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, age 55+, girls getaway.

Seven of us from around the country stayed at Seaglass during the Shamrock Marathon Weekend at Virginia Beach. We chose Seaglass because we felt that a cramped hotel room would not be comforatble. We couldn't have picked a more enjoyable place! The Sanctuary at False Cape Resort is beautiful, our unit looked out over the ocean and also the bay area. We were there before the tourist season officially began so the hot tub and the pool were not in operation yet, but that didn't matter because we had the beach to stroll on and the unit had a great submersion tub in the master bath for those of us who had run the marathon and needed relaxation. Seaglass is impeccably decorated and very comfortable. All of the beds were great and we all slept well, not something that usually happens when you are away from home. It had all the amenities a person would want, each room had its' own flat screen TV, and there were two balconies, one from the living area and the other an extension of the beautiful and roomy master bedroom. While there are only a few restaurants near the condo, there are several local ones and chain restaurants within a short driving distance. We enjoyed being away from the hustle and bustle of the downtown Virginia Beach crowd, but could easily get there for our running events and sightseeing. The owner was extremely conscientious and accommodating, and readily answered our questions and addressed any concerns we had after we arrived. The condo was clean, well-stocked, and comfy. Being on the top floor, we had awesome views of the Atlantic and the sunrises and sunsets were beautiful! If you are looking for a quiet but convenient place to stay near VA Beach, I would highly recommend the Seaglass Condominium at the Sanctuary at False Cape Resort!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, adventure seekers, people with disabilities.

Owner info
Year Purchased: 2006
About the owner: We are a busy family who cherishes the quiet time that we spend together at the beach. We love to grill out, walk on the beach at sunset and play games with the kids. Over the past six years we have truly enjoyed the Sandbridge area.
Why the Owner Chose Virginia Beach:
The condominiums set on a beautiful stretch of quiet, pristine beach. It is a relaxing haven. We love the ease of condo vacationing and the fact that the land mass here is only a block wide, spanning he bay and ocean.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo:
Our family has time together far away from busy restaurants, clubs and typical beach night life. It feels like stepping back in time. Our condominium is our second home and we rent to FAMILIES several times each year, when we are not in Sandbridge ourselves. Thus, our home 'feels' like a home, not a typical rental unit.
If you want to relax in a clean, beautiful HOME, do a little cooking, enjoy your family and the beauty of nature, this is the place!
