We had a wonderfull time in this home away from home condo. We awakened to snow, and bliss above the clouds. My family of 6 were comfortable and had so much fun. Jon and Jennifer have the condo filled with all the things your need to eat , sleep and enjoy the moutains of Gatlinburg. It is so convienent to Ober Gatlinburg, and was great to stand on the deck and enjoy the sites and sounds of nature.

Recommended for:Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Jon and Jennifer, thank you for a great place to relax and enjoy our time in Gatlinburg. We had a great time and your condo was just great. We really loved the Sky Light in the bedroom and our grandson loved the stairs. We went to sleep counting stars.The condo was quite and very peaceful. Hated that we couldn't stay longer but would love to stay again soon. Thank you Jon for being so nice and helpful by taking care of everything over the phone. Great place! Gail

The Summit surely did have a beautiful view. The drive up in the dark was a bit of an adventure but fortunately our cell phone directions got us there. The loft room was perfect for my daughter and my two boys appreciated the twin beds. While the value, cleanliness, and room set up were just what we needed, the condo was a bit older than I expected and the kitchen is very small with a half-sized dishwasher and small, older stove. I decided against trying to cook a full meal for our family in it. The biggest challenge we had was a lack of coffee filters--not sure if they are usually there or not as there was a coffee pot and we brought coffee but had no way of using it. So while the condo fit our needs and budget and I greatly appreciated Jon and Jennifer sharing their vacation spot with us it wasn't quite as luxurious as I had anticipated from the photos and reviews.

As for the coffee filters, they are not listed in the items we supply in the terms and conditions email you recieved, so I'm sorry if there was any confusion. The kitchen has everything you need to make a full dinner. I'm sorry you chose not to do so. My family has had some wonderful meals come out of that kitchen when we stay. The pictures of the condo are exactly what is in the unit so again I apologize if there was any confucion. I love staying at Gatlinburg Summit! This is my third time --- a different condo each time --- and staying at this unit was a wonderful experience! The first part of the week was a special get away for my husband and I and then our older kids joined us for the rest of the week! The place was big enough to accomodate the family and cozy enough to enjoy the fireside chats, coffee, and beautiful scenery! I'm looking forward to doing this again next year! Thanks for the great place and the great price! Excellent time for all! The older kids even enjoyed all of the stairs!!!

We just got back from a 5 night stay and wow what a fantastic view! The condo was a great fit for my family of 5. Make sure to follow e directions giving or you will get lost. We made a wrong turn and in think went all around the mountain before we found our way to the condo. My husband was freaked out the 1st drive or two up but by the end of the week he was a pro. We did have one snag in our stay, when we arrived to the condo it had not been cleaned from the previous renters. But one phone call to Jon and it was taken care off. We did have to leave for about 2 hours for it to get cleaned but we headed back down the mountain to get some groceries. It wasn't a big hassle but if we hadn't have already been in Gatlingburg for 2 days it would have been. The kids were anxious to get out and explore and it would have been bad had we made a 9 hour trip to only get back in the car after 10 minutes. We would for sure stay here again though.

My family and I were looking for an affordable place to spend our Gatlinburg vacation. We couldn't have asked for a location with better views. The views of the mountains and the city lights in the distance are absolutely breathtaking. I hated to leave! The pictures don't do this place justice. It's perfect. The only thing we had a problem with were the stairs but everyone can use some exercise. The pool areas were great. The condo had excellent showers as well. Everything was very clean. Overall, I would highly recommend this condo. The owner was extremely friendly! Hopefully, we'll do business again in the future. Rent this condo! :D

The Summit never fails to disappoint! Your condo was perfect for what we were looking for, especially the price! Wow, what a view every morning and through-out the day. We enjoyed it so much that we decided to stay at the condo all day on Monday....read, enjoyed the view, played basketball and enjoyed the indoor pool! An extra treat was the daily visit by a large bear...he/she is apparently a regular at the Summit....very cool but people need to stop feeding the bear! We went to the Apple Barn in Pigeon Forge for lunch, love their wines! Went to the Smith Family Dinner Show...very entertaining and the food is not bad........Grotto Falls and Chimney Tops picnic area...some of our favorites......we plan to visit your condo again.....thanks for helping our family to make wonderful cherished memories!

Jon helped me make the reservations over the phone...he told me I would love the condo...he was right. Cabin/chalet rental price would have been ridiculous for one night...my husband hates hotels but loves to be high into the mountains so the condo was a perfect fit for us. We only got to stay one night but what a wonderful night it was. The events we attended were in Sevierville but it was worth the drive to stay at their condo. The view was beautiful both night and day. The condo was clean and fresh, not at all stale like a hotel would have been. It's high enough into the mountains to have a beautiful view. We didn't get to see a bear but we did see a little rabbit along the edge of the grass. The only thing I can think of that would have been nice would have been DVD player. The condo has cable, but as everybody knows, most of the time there's still nothing on. Also, if you have back or leg problems, be aware that this unit is on the third floor and you'll have to climb the stairs.

We were really happy with everything! The Greens rent their Condo for much, much less than the same, other Condo's rent for in the same complex. One thing I really appreciated too - was the parking. I know that sounds weird - but if you have ever stayed at a Chalet, you know that the parking is minimal & tedious; it feels like you are going to drive off the side of the mountain. Not so, at the Condo. Also, the hottubs, the pool, & the sauna were great. The view was terrific.
