Bright ,sunny and happy Caribbean inspired beach bungalow. 100 steps to tranquill Niles Beach(a great family beach and/or a beach to enjoy a good book) on Gloucester's outer harbor, water is flat calm and a few degrees warmer than Good Harbor beach side and GREAT FOR CHILDREN.
This newly renovated 1863 bungalow w/wide plank hardwood floors has nice peeks of Niles Beach, the harbor and beautiful sunsets. It was just completley remodeled and full of bright Caribbean color and decor for summer. The house has three new bedrooms and an additional nursery room. rm 1: 3 twins, rm 2: full, rm 3: queen, a comfortable living room w/sleep sofa and very bright and well equipped kitchen w/breakfast bar and attached dining room w/table and chairs. Outside is a mahogany wrap around deck w/ new "gingerbread" railing, trellised patio, outdoor dining area and BBQ grill.
The house is located walking distance to America's oldest working art colony, Rocky Neck. Wonderful galleries, restaurants (w/outdoor decks on inner harbor), and an ice cream parlor are a relaxing 5 min walk from house; It is a great place to pass the evening away. Also, Rocky Neck has a summer theater where famed New York writer/producer Isreal Horwitz tests his off-broadway shows for upcoming season.
The pillared entry of exclusive Eastern Point is also a two minute walk from the house where one can walk, jog or bike on its quiet roads and paths and admire the design and architecture of Gloucester's most exclusive homes, or birdwatch on its Audubon sanctuaries. Downtown Gloucester and Good Harbor Beach are both a short 5 minute drive away.
