Welcome to our Ocean View cottage, "Beach N' It". Beach N' It is located in the Outer Banks of North Carolina, in the great city of Rodanthe. With awesome ocean views and warm summer breezes, you're sure to love it as much as we do! We are just steps away from the beach! Listen to the sound of the waves crashing from the living room and large balcony in the front of the house. The Rodanthe Fishing Pier (scenes from the upcoming movie- "Nights in Rodanthe" starring Richard Gere were taken there) is just steps away as well as the small amusement park.
Our house is located just 20 miles south of Nags Head in Hatteras Island.
Beach N' It accommodates 5 adults comfortably or 4 adults and 4 children. We have 4 bedrooms (2 Queen, 2 twins, 1 Bunk bed with a double size bed on the bottom). All of the bedrooms have a TV with VCR attached. The Living area has a large TV with DVD/VCR combo as well as a collection of videos (VHS and DVD). We have lots of board games available and a hammock underneath the house and a swing for small children.
Outside of the house is a large deck (front) with comfortable deck furniture. Its great to watch the sunrise on and also the many stars at night! On the back deck you can see the Sound- relax in the 6 person hot tub! There is also an outdoor shower that is perfect for washing off your feet after a long day at the beach! There are a few places to rent bikes from as well as beach chairs, umbrellas, etc.
Take the Free Hatteras Ferry just 40 miles south to Ocracoke Island and visit the most beautiful beach in the nation (it was voted #1 in 2007). Drive on the beaches! Visit the wild horses in Corolla just 40 miles North of Hatteras.
If you like beaches that are not over-developed and over-crowded you will LOVE Hatteras Island! Its beautiful, relaxing, fun and a special place you will come back to year after year! I know you will enjoy your time here!!
