Built in 2005 and fully-equipped with high quality modern conveniences, this is the perfect holiday home for relaxing and enjoying the famous ‘Périgord Noir’ in a beautiful and comfortable setting. The apartment opens onto a large private deck that offers a panoramic view of the peaceful countryside, and is just a short walk (less than 5 min.) to shops, restaurants and services in the heart of the village.
The Périgord Noir is one of the most outstandingly beautiful regions of France. In the valleys of the Dordogne and Vezere rivers, close to Lascaux, Sarlat, Beynac, Monpazier and Domme, the Périgord Noir is a stunning blend of prehistoric caves hidden in tree-covered valleys, medieval castles dating from the 100 Year War and ancient farmhouses on quiet roads along meandering rivers and wooded hillsides.
The region is perfect walking/cycling country and a dream for fishermen and canoeists. Horseback riding, swimming-pool and tennis court all offered within the village. Golfing specials are available through our affiliation with the Lolivarie Golf Club (18 holes), and La Forge Golf Club (9 holes) in nearby Siorac.

On the large deck facing the spectacular view, the hostess invites you to discover her many delectable fresh salads and special recipes made from select local products: Foie Gras, crude ham from Bayonne, sheep cheese and black cherry jam, artisanal ice-creams and sorbets, homemade pastries. She prepares most of the delicacies herself, with a view to highlighting the products’ fresh flavours.
LA BOUTIQUE DES TERRASSES
The shop at Les Terrasses offers a large selection of products made in the South-West of France to enjoy during your stay or to take away. Included are crockery from Les Landes, the pastel soaps and body lotions of Toulouse, colourful linen and towels from a well-known manufacturer in the Pays Basque, choice walnut oil, mustards, spices, truffle vinegar, foies gras, local wines and spirits, etc…

My vacation at this property was incredible. The apartment is even better than pictured and the description of the amenities is accurate! The suite itself was very comfortable, well appointed, and extremely clean. The location was very tranquil, while still being very close to amenities. The view from the living room and terrace was peaceful and beautiful, there was even a deer walking through the backyard. It was like being out in the country, but on the other side of the house was the village with shops and restaurants within easy walking distance. The owner was very friendly, helpful, and always available for questions. They provided me with an orientation to the suite and the property. They also provided me with lots of good information about activities to do in the area, where to get groceries, and where the markets were and on which days. I felt very much at home during my stay and plan on returning again on my next trip to the area. I would definitely recommend this apartment to anyone planning on staying in this region. It has everything to offer that you could wish for in a holiday apartment. It gets 5 stars in my book!
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, tourists without a car, sightseeing, pet owners, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with young children.
