We took our family (all 10 of us) to Helen, GA for the week after Christmas and we all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves in this lovely cabin. There was plenty of room for all of us; the kids could play downstairs if they wanted while the adults played cards on the main floor or we could all be together. The property was clean and the owner was very accommodating. I would recommend this home to both friends and family. The city of Helen is fun to shop in and has some wonderful German food...the best Reuben I've eaten was at the Troll Tavern with a close second at the International Cafe. The drive to Anna Ruby Falls brought a little nature to us city dwellers and the falls were stunning in the late afternoon. We also had fun one afternoon at the miniature golf course. Thank you so much for a providing a place where the family could vacation together!

Great getaway not too far from Helen

Thank you so much for letting us stay in such a short notice. We had people from early twenties to late thirties, yet all of us had a great time, hanging out in the porch, playing in the game room (foosball table was a hit!), and just relaxing and chilling inside and outside of the cabin. It was clean with everything we were looking for. Once again, thank you so much for the great experience!

Thanks for such a great experience and for letting us come on such short notice!The cabin is with out a doubt one of the nicest on this site.It was definately one of the best vacations to daste!My son loved playing on the game table down stairs while my six month old daughter played with her toys on the bear rug.Breath taking views all around and the grass was well maintained as well.Thanks will be renting again soon.P.s the owner of this cabin barbara is a delight to do business with friendly and honest. Would recommend this cabin to everyone!

Best Family Vacation

Renting this location was the easiest detail of our vacation plans and we heartily recommend this spot for family being together with space! Mornings on the porch, cooking on the side deck, meals together on the porch, painting on the porch, card games on the porch, reading on the porch whenever - our favorite place was the porch - front or back. Kitchen had everything we needed and the center island was another favorite gathering place. Bedrooms were wonderful retreats within the house. Enjoyed shopping in Helen, hike to Anna Ruby Falls, tubing on the river and coming back "home". Tip for those renting - regular grocery store is in Cleveland. Really did not want to put the key back in the lock-box!

Kinda had a small reunion with my sister, brother, and Mom and Dad.Very spacious and kid friendly. My grandkids loved the basement space(they thought it was an away from adults space). Will come again soon!!!

What a beautiful cabin - clean, spacious, and comfy! It had everything we needed. The kids loved the gameroom, and we all enjoyed the porches each night. I highly recommend it for a large family.

Hi Barbara Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful cabin with us. Everything was great. The view is gorgeous. We all loved sitting on the porches and enjoying the fresh air. The Christmas tree & decorations added such a special touch,they made us feel as if we were at home. I would love to live in the mountains again some day. Helen is such a neat place and there is so much to do for everyone. I love the falls, WOW!! There is so much that we did not get to do, as it rained for two days. This cabin is absolutely the best of the best! Our entire family was very pleased! The cabin is extremly clean and cozy. The owners put alot of thought and detail in the decoration. It's great for families with children. There are movies and games, a highchair and playpen for babies. The location is beautiful and while sitting on the porch we saw a deer. We were very impressesed and would recommend it to everyone. Look no farhter this place is like heaven!!!

Thank you for the wonderful stay. We were a bit nervous about renting from the owner as opposed to one of the larger management companies in the area. Thankfully, that was all put the rest when we got there. We found the property to be very, very clean and beautifully decorated. The cabin was a lot bigger than we expected. Word of advise if you have a sports fan in the family (I had three with me): local channels are not available. They will have to go to town to watch their games if they are televised on one of the major networks. Not a big deal since Helen is only a few minutes away. We definately recommend this property, it's a very special place, we hated to say goodbye. We look forward to returning and hope to do so very soon. Thanks! Jeff and Marline Cook

I loved this cabin!! It was such a nice retreat from the everyday Atlanta madness. We loved the cozy furnishings, especially the log beds-and ofcourse the jacuzzi tub was heavenly! The wrap around porch was a nice place to relax and it was so close to restaraunts and attractions! Thanks for a great weekend get-away.We will be sure to tell our friends and to return again soon!
