| Other Amenities | - The Coosawattee River Resort encompasses over 8,500 acres with the Coosawattee River and Mountain town Creek flowing through the property as well as many smaller creeks and branches. There are over 200 miles of roads in the resort, with four controlled entry gates. The resort has 5 parks for picnicking, rafting, canoeing, fishing, or simply relaxing; and 3 pool/recreation areas (2 outdoor pools, 1 indoor heated pool that is open year round) with volleyball courts, tennis courts, miniature golf, exercise/workout facility, and game rooms. There is also a stocked fishing pond, and walking and hiking trails. You will also find wildlife of all descriptions - deer, wild turkeys, raccoons, bears, eagles, hawks and more.
