My teenaged grandchildren and I just got back from our 4-night stay at this beautiful cottage. The layout of the cottage was perfect. The two upstairs bedroom (with sitting room between) was a perfect area for my 4 granddaughters. They had their own perfect suite. The property is absolutely beautiful, and Denver (the dog) was fun and entertaining, too. I would definitely rent this property again when going to the Nashville area. The location is about a 30 minute drive to downtown Nashville, which may be too far for some folks, but it was perfect for us. We were able to enjoy the property in this location close to Franklin. Everything you need is close...grocery stores, restaurants, etc. Perfect stay! Thank you, Linda and Wes!

Our stay was so wonderful! The home was perfect for the 5 of us, and we truly felt at home. Everything is maintained wonderfully, and the grounds were so serene. Thanks for leaving up the Christmas lights and tree for us- it was a perfect Christmas celebration- even if it was the week after. I look forward to visiting again!

We just left here yesterday and I woke in my own house today wishing I was still here in this beautiful serene, cozy cottage. It was beautiful. It was spacious enough for 4 adults and 1 child to enjoy a down home southern Christmas. I would recommend this to anyone, and hope to go back some day. Thank you

"I wish it would be this house..." this is what I told my family in the car, arriving in the dark - we found it the right one , and: WOW !! what a wonderful place, the spirit of the owner, the charming interior, cozy rooms, great kitchen, wonderful outside, we loved the porches. We visited Nashville from Germany (former nashville resident) - we even had friends "over" for a BBQ.Felt like having them in our own home - what a feeling !! THANKS so much for your outstanding hospetility We will be back one day

If you are looking for a vacation home for a stay in Nashville I couldn't recommend this place more. The home is nicely furnished, has a nice pool, is extremely roomy, and the landscaping is beautiful. It was a perfect getaway for my family. If you like to hike or play in the creak you are close to a nice park with trails. Linda and her husband were extremely hospitable and were kind of enough to mail everything home that "my wife" forgot.
Owner response:Rich, Thanks so much! We hope you all come back soon and are so glad you had a great visit to Nashville! Linda

We had such a wonderful time at the cottage and can't wait to come back again! Linda and Wes were so very accommodating! Everything we needed was there, the house was beautiful, and we felt right at home. The neighborhood was great and the neighbors were wonderful! We cannot wait to go back!

If you're looking for peace, tranquility and safety in an upscale area this is the place for you! The neighborhood is very quiet as well as the owners. The only activity we witnessed were cars leaving in the morning and returning at night. Despite the cottage being connected to the main house via a covered walkway it still feels private. Note that both bathrooms are on the first level which wasn't a problem for us but may be if older adults plan to sleep upstairs. We used the property in November, lovely weather for that time of year btw, with grandkids and children using the second floor bedrooms. Grandparents got the bedroom on the first floor. The property could be better marked. We arrived at night and passed the property several times but assumed it must be the place since the owners had kindly left many outdoor and indoor lights on in both residences. Downtown Nashville is 30 minutes away so a car is necessary.

We absolutely loved our stay at this cottage. The cottage was very spacious, with all the comforts of home. We came for a Sisters' Weekend in Nashville/Franklin and so enjoyed waking up each morning to the beautiful gardens, Tennessee hills and deer. The owners were extremely gracious and provided us with every convenience as well as great suggestions for sightseeing. Thank you so much!

We stayed at the guest cottage the last week of August. It was wonderful! A very peaceful setting and everything you could ever need. A short drive to the grocery store and Loveless Cafe. The pool was great and the accommodations were very spacious and comfortable.

We surely enjoyed our stay this past weekend at your lovely guest cottage. It was such a wonderful setting for meeting our son and his friend from St. Louis. I could not imagine finding a more ideal place for relaxing and for conveniently touring Franklin and Nashville. Also, I must say that having coffee on the back porch overlooking the flower garden and your beautiful grounds was just heavenly. We can hardly wait to visit with you again.

We had 3 couples staying at the cottage March 20-27, 2009. It was a beautiful place to relax and enjoy time with friends sitting by the fireplace and on the porch soaking up the sun. It is so much more intimate than a hotel. Thanks for making our trip to the area so relaxing.

March 6-8, 2009 -- A little slice of heaven! So much nicer than staying in a hotel. All the comforts of home -- there's nothing like sightseeing in Nashville all day and then coming home to curl up in front of a fire. I can't wait to come back and see all the flowers in bloom!

Great deck for sitting and watching the deer and turkeys on the lawn. Easy location to everything including the famous Loveless Cafe...
