We absolutely loved the house and the location. Kids had the best time. The home had everything in abundance and was in pristine condition. Owner was available and responded quickly to our calls. I would recommend this place to others.

This is a lovely, comfortable home with all the amenities you might need, and the view is even better than advertised. We had absolutely no complaints. Oh, except we dislike teflon frying pans and that was all they had. Not a biggie when everything else is so fabulous. The little roads here are very steep and twisty, so be prepared for a little bit of a trek to get here. But it's worth it.

The house is right on the lake and everything from the sunny exterior to the beachy decor makes it the perfect beach getaway. The view from the master bedroom was stunning and we spent the weekend listening to the waves and enjoying the breeze on the deck. Though we ran out of time for hot-tubing, I will be sure to use it next time! The owners were thoughtful and responsive to our questions and gave great suggestions for nearby activities (wine tasting, horseback riding, brunch and dinner options) I would definitely stay here again.

my family rented this house (and the one across the street, Lake View) for a family reunion and we were incredibly happy with our choice. this house did sleep 10 (including two small children) and was easy, pretty and perfectly stocked and set up to work. the owners are very generous with supplies from linens to lotion to kitchen supplies and the house was clean and well furnished. you do feel the lake breeze and there are beautiful big decks and porches for sitting and relaxing, including a hot tub. i would absolutely recommend checking this out for a big gathering like ours or just a quiet time to relax by Lake Michigan.

Absolutely wonderful, clean, comfortable, well laid out cottage. We loved our stay. It's actually in Michiana, a few miles W of NB, close enough to the harbor to run your ski boat or jet ski over but a drive to town for sure. It's only 2BR (King, 2 doubles) but really nicely done, and very well stocked if you forget something. Also, it actually feels like a much larger home, with nice and open common living/ dining area and a huge dining table and well arranged kitchen, perfect for inviting up day guests. Lower level basement can sleep a few kids. Big, really nice decks to watch the lake and sunset. Easy walk to beach, not on a cliff. Beach was pretty rocky along the shore. This may have just been from recent storms but bring beach shoes. There's a stream that comes in just a few houses to the east, fun for kids. There are a few floats and one or two operable umbrellas, and several decent enough beach chairs, maybe bring your own beach umbrella. There is a hot tub, extra charge, perfect for watching sunset. New Buffalo about 5 mile drive. Good grocery store (Barneys) and of course nice shops and restaurants. Mich City is also about 5 miles, less attractive but has Casino, grocery (Al's). Fun little muni golf course in Grand Beach neighborhood nearby.

We stayed here in march with cold weather but the comfortable cozy accommodations kept us warm. Fantastic lake views, few steps to beach, house had everything one could need. Perfect for family with kids, had a bedroom with 2 twin beds and tons of games and toys. We will be back...

I stayed at Lake Breeze for four nights this September with six friends. The location is perfect -- great views of the beach from most rooms, and a short (and not steep!) walk to the water. We enjoyed the sunny rooms, the huge deck with hot tub and comfy hammock, and the fully equiped kitchen. The house easily sleeps four. Our only negative would be the downstairs room -- the fold-out beds aren't too comfy for adults, although they would likely be just fine for kids, and once the people upstairs are up and about, its difficult for light sleepers. Overall, we had a fantastic time, and I would recommend this rental to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway close to Chicago.

The house is lovely inside. As other reviewers have indicated the house is nicely stocked. Although, interestingly enough, salt and sugar were missing. No problem, though, the grocery store is very close (as well as other amenities). The location is also wonderful as it is so close to the beach. The outdoor space is great! Loved spending lots of time outside. Of course, the view was phenomenal too. Will absolutely come back again. Our kids are already asking when we would go back to the beach house.

we stayed at lake view a few weeks back, we only had 3 days here... It was so beautiful, amazing view of the lake and the stars were breath taking . It was relaxing so we made our 3 days feel like a week.. I loved the fully equiped kitchen, and the master bedroom was very comfortable. The house was very clean when we came in so we felt it should be clean when we left.. We would come back again as soon as possible. Thank you so much to the lake breeze house

Just last week, I, along with a few members of my family, had the opportunity to spend a few days at this house and really enjoyed our time away! The owner was very accomodating and we found the house to be very inviting and homey. The beach and water were fantastic fun with the teenagers, although the steps down to the sandy walkway to the beach were a bit treacherous for some of us, but once down at the beach, it was great fun! The hot tub on the lower deck was very relaxing, even during the daytime, but especially in the evening under the stars. We brought our own food and enjoyed the company of our family at the big dining table inside! Morning coffee on the deck off the master bedroom, really started the day just right! The skylights in the living room let the light in beautifully and the ones in the second bedroom served as an early morning wakeup call (which was ok, since sleeping the day way was not the plan!). Again, we really enjoyed our vacation and look forward to making another date!

A great getaway for all seasons! We've had the pleasure of visiting this wonderful property in both warm and cool weather and have enjoyed each trip immensely! It's great for large or small groups. A perfect beach house, the house is very cozy and comfortable and sits in a fabulous location. Whether you're into lounging, walking, biking or golf -- it's all right there! In addition, we love the close proximity to New Buffalo for shopping and the occasional dining out, and we've even visited the nearby casino. We always wish we could stay longer!

This Lake Michigan get-away property is a wonderful place to relax and unwind! The hot tub on the deck overlooking Lake Michigan is a delight any time of day. I personally enjoy a nap on one of the deck lounge chairs and listening to the waves. I definitely recommend this property to couples or families who are looking for a great place to feel comfortable and enjoy beachfront activities any time of the year.

We felt right at home the minute we walked in the door. The pictures do not do the home or the view justice. The outdoor space on the property is well laid out, with multiple decks and comfortable, chic patio furniture. The kitchen has more pots and pans, serving bowls, dishes and utensils than my own home. The inside decor is charming, cozy, relaxing and uncluttered, with plenty of space, allowing for a restful stay. The 2 minute walk to the beach was effortless. The weather was spectacular the week that we were there, but if not, there are plenty of accutraments to entertain, including wifi. Clearly, this home has been exceptionally well maintained, as Tripti and Brian treat every guest with the utmost in hospitality. Don't pass up an opportunity for this getaway; whether with children, adults only for a special celebration or for no occasion at all.

What a lovely house! So well stocked in the kitchen and elsewhere. I love to cook and usually bring quite a few of my own spices, oils, etc, but this home had it all. Great view of the lake and the sound of the waves as we fell asleep...perfect. The house is in a great neighborhood - very quite and peaceful. And the walk to the beach is nothing! There are some rocks on the beach but they added to our sand castle! Look no further.

I book this vacation home on a yearly basis with a few of my girlfriends from college. It's so relaxing and there is room to do everything. We cook delicious meals and the kitchen has always been equipped for us. We also go to town for shopping, nightlife and even the casino. We enjoy the deck and beach the most. I have always had a good experience renting from these owners. Just don't take our weekend!!

We stayed at the Lake Breeze house in late March and we enjoyed it immensely. The property was well-maintained and offered a very relaxed respite for our family. The description and photographs on the website provide an excellent depiction of the interior and exterior of the house and surrounding area. The property is situated right on Lake Michigan with a clean stretch of beach to walk or run along. The house offers very close proximity to the beach, which is just steps out the back door and deck. One lovely morning we were treated to a visit by a family of deer in the grassy area near the house. As advertised, the awesome view of the great lake is one of the first things you notice when you enter the home. The water view is notable from the master bedroom as well as most of the living area. The wood burning fireplaces contributed to the cozy environment as did the shelves stocked with games and books; and we borrowed some of them to play / read while there. The cheerful kitchen contained all the amenities we needed, too. Our wireless laptops worked without any problem whatsoever which was quite helpful. We were patrons of a few of the local restaurants during our vacation. We checked out Oinks and Redamak's and each was good in its own right. We had a great dining experience at the Stray Dog Bar and Grill. We particularly enjoyed the food at Bentwood Tavern which is on the marina in New Buffalo. We look forward to renting the Lake Breeze property again this summer. The owner was very responsive to our inquiries and represented the rental very fairly and accurately. It's comfortable, clean, and cozy and the views are wonderful! We've already recommended the place to others.

My experience was great and surpassed my expectations. Home was in great shape and was everything the pictures show it to be. Views of the lake were perfect and the multiple decks and hot tub was great for entertainment day and night. The beach also makes you feel like you're on the ocean. Management was fantastic and delivered on all agreements. I would recommend this to anyone looking to get away and have a great time.

We just spent a wonderful five days this fall at Lake Breeze. The location was spectacular, the sunsets breathtaking and the view of the Chicago skyline from across the lake, one of a kind. The house is comfortable and cozy. Everything we could have needed for our downtime together was right there. No doubt we will return!

This is the first time we have been at this great house when it wasn't summer. As usual the house is immaculate and very homey. We came up for the weekend to go wine tasting and watch the great sunsets after sampling a few of our purchases. The weekend we were there the weather was perfect and the beach fairly deserted. We have never been disappointed with this rental and have recommended it to others who were looking to rent in the area. If you come up you must try a great ice cream place in New Buffalo called Oinks. My husband and I and family really love this home and the relaxed atmosphere. We can't wait to return. Kris W

My husband and I spent our 6th wedding anniversary and chose this cottage because of the close proximity to the water. I was not prepared for the spectacular view from the living room and master bedroom. Wow! The pictures down't do it justice. The beach was literally steps away. The property was very well maintained and had every amenity you could hope for. It was cozy and quaint and to our surpirse extremely quiet. I'd recommend this home to anyone looking for a peaceful, relaxing getaway.

We spent 5 days at this charming beach front home and did not want to leave. It's much bigger than it looks in the pictures. We have 3 teenage/adult daughters and we never even used the downstairs, except to use the laundry. It's really just the right size and well maintained. The house was clean and so comfortable - everything you would ever need was supplied. I've never seen so many games in my life! We enjoyed having them. We loved the Michiana area too - it's a great for running/walking. Everyone is friendly. It feels like home. It's very convenient to New Buffalo restaurants and shopping Now let me tell you about the best part -- the views and the beach! Total aaaahhhh! You know you are away from it all and that's what it's all about. In fact, it was so spectacular that my husband decided we needed to look for our own little house on the beach. How's that for a recommendation! If we don't find that house by next year, we will definitely be back. It could not have been better.

My family and I love this vacation getaway. It is a wonderful home that has everything you need for a great family vacation. The beach is a few steps away and is so relaxing. If you don't want to go to the beach the decks also are wonderful to relax on. The area is quiet, and is the perfect place to enjoy with family and friends. The great thing about this house is its so close to home but it feels like your so far away. The town is a lot of fun too. Don't miss Oinks for ice cream with the kids. If you want to go apple picking, wine tasting or horseback riding, there is something for everyone. We never want to leave and can't wait to get back again next year.

I have stayed at the Lake House a number of times and it was WONDERFUL. It doesn't matter if you are there to plop yourself on the couch and read a good book or plow down to the beach with everyone in tow and have a relaxing day in the sun. It all works. We have been there in all seasons. I read one of the other reviews and it is correct. It feels like home-in a vacation kind of setting. Comfortable house, toasty fireplace. Nice open floor plan on the first floor allows for some to be eating while a complete other group can be playing games on the living room table. The lake views are spectacular-don't miss the sunset, and the walk to the beach is just off the back deck. We'll be back for sure. Can't keep us away!

Lake Breeze Beachfront Getaway has so much to offer! We love the stuning Lake Michigan and sunset views, the sounds of waves crashing on the shore, the hot tub on the deck, the quick & short path to the beach and lake right off the deck, and the cozy & comfortable home atmosphere. The home is clean and so well maintained that you will relax the minute you walk in the door! There is much info there from the owner for activities and restaurants in the area. We love the Beautiful Beach most of all. Whether winter or summer, it's our favorite part of the trip. Our family always looks forward to a stay at Lake Breeze!

I don't know what was the best part of our stay! The breathtaking sunsets, the picturesque views of Lake Michigan, the sounds of waves crashing on the shore, the hot tub on the deck, the quaint path that leads easily and quickly to the beach, the comfortable atmosphere of the home, or the fact that whenever our family stays here we all have the best time!!!! Kids from 5-25 love it, as do their tired, needing to relax, parents! The home is lovely, spotless, very well taken care of and convenient to many attractions. The kids especially like the beach and ice cream shops in New Buffalo. There are also many great restaurants nearby-with info from the owner that makes getting around a breeze. We love Red Arrow Road House and their deli next door. But we also ate in often, as there is a fully equipped kitchen. We can't wait to go back!
