This Mexican Paradise is located in a perfect location at the north end of Mazatlan's Golden Zone and the Mazatlan Marina. La Marina Tennis & Yacht Club is on the border of El Cid Marina wedding cabana & private beach areas. The Marina offers a scenic cushion from all of the crowds & vendors ...offering beautiful sandy beaches stretching on like very few places you will find ...yet you are still just minutes away from the Mazatlan city life and action if you prefer! It is a great place to gather sea shells, walk the beach, gather in the sun or enjoy the surf.
La Marina features an all new expanded pool & patio areas, new cabana & in-ground jetted hot-tub. In the evenings bring your own food down to the gas bar-b-cue by the poolside patio, or sit out by the ocean on a private raised patio and watch the sun set over the waves!
1/2013 UPDATE: Just back on rental market after a 6 month remodel with All New Stainless & Granite Kitchen, all new Italian tile floors, quiet dual air conditioning system & washer/dryer in the condo! Decorated in traditional “Old Mexico” colors with soft tile & granites & natural woods used. A very large & open plan with exciting day & night views! This unit is one of the best locations & views in the entire complex overlooking beach below, city & marina! Unit #706, an upper floor unit almost over the beach ...overlooking the Pacific ocean, beach, pool, marina & city lights. You get spectacular views, sunsets and city views. The marina & ocean photos are taken from the private patio. It is located on the sunny & warm side of the complex during the winter and spring months… and cooler side when it gets hot during the summer and fall! It offers not only spectacular daytime views of the ocean and surf and marina activity… at night you get the marina & city lights… sometimes there is also a wedding or special fiesta way down below at the marina El Cid cabana …yet from the hallway window you can still hear the waves crashing in from the surf below ...you are still that close… paradise…
This complex retains it original charm and most units have the same people returning for years. It is rare to find one with some of the original mini glass colored bath tiles... yet all newly remodeled...with new Italian Tiled floors, new granite & stainless kitchen & washer/dryer in unit. This is a spacious 650 sq-ft unit with big view deck, larger resort type grounds ...yet more charming than you will ever find in a hotel. There is a new fully stocked kitchen with oversized refer, gas stove, new toaster & blender, built-in micro, etc.. All new, freshly painted, silk lined drapes, quality linens & new deluxe King sized bed +PLUS+ deluxe futon sleeper couch. There is also a small day bed in the master bedroom. Unit will now easily sleep 3-4 people. The complex is kept in immaculate condition, very clean, private courtyards & flowers all around. Rental includes maid services.
This complex has friendly English speaking staff & 24 hour full security on site. There are 2 full sized elevators plus wide stair access if you prefer.
There is a seasonal restaurant, separate late night bar & grocery store in complex. El Cid year round restaurant at marina next door or others also close by. Building has a complete & tested quality full water filtration system. Bring (or rent) a tennis racket as there are fully maintained red clay tennis courts.
LOOK AT A MAZATLAN MAP… find Mazatlan Marina at north end of Golden Zone …we are on the beach, just on the north side of the marina’s opening…a perfect location… We walk to the bus, get a pulmonia cart, taxi in front or hop on the little marina boat which operates every day continually back and forth across the marina …walk through the El Cid grounds…a shuttle drops us at the tip of the Golden Zone and then into the middle of all the action… shops…restaurants…health club….marina fishing charters…cheap buses or taxis to Central Market & Downtown or Grand Plaza. There is a new health club just across the street from marina, Saludable'. El Cid shuttle bus will transport you free to their other hotel for shopping… line up a day tours to Concordia & Copala… we could go the other direction north… walk the quiet beach …go to lunch at Torres Resort, …Water park, Playa Bruha…… discover Mazatlan…. It Is Fun! ... and this is the perfect spot to enjoy it from. We Do Hope to see you soon!

My wife & I had a great time in your condo. Nice remodel, what a place! The views & setting were all spectacular. I am going to refer this to all my friends. Nice beach, quiet location yet close to everything just as described. A great restaurant in the building & at Seafarer just across the street. We both really enjoyed the beach, sitting on the patios & the new pool.... plus great times in the jacuzzi! Thanks again, we will see you again next year!Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway, tourists without a car, girls getaway.

Just across the street is the new Seafarer Restuarant, owned by the famous Pedro & Lolas. It is on the marina and has a large view tower shaped like a lighthouse. The restuarant is surrounded by huge pools loaded with large native fish species such as puffer fish, red snapper, bonitas and more. They play soft live music most every other nights and on weekends... and very affordably priced. They also have a full service spa tucked into the palm trees with streams and private pathwaysrunning around it. A true oasis unlike anything else in Mazatlan.

It is just a beautifull & short walk, or bus or pulmonia ride, up the beach to Torres Resort. They have a spectacular restuarant & bar an the beach. Some of the best, and highst quality vendors, para sail & jet skis are on this beach in front of the resort. These places are fun to visit, just like El Cid Marina, but you are not stuck there in the middle of a more crowded resort with lots of people.

Several new coffee & desert shops, such as Ricos Coffee, a quick bus ride or pulmonia, from the condo into this all newly built area. Also some new restaurants on the Marina; from formal to fun. The coffee shops are open late, until 9 or 10PM, msot nights. Live musis & wonderfull deserts. A great way to spend a late night relaxing.

This is the famous authentic restaurant at the north end of the beach... palmed hut style with the best coconut prawns & lobster. Next to it is the new strip mall with very affordable souveniers & gift items. They have a nail shop & massage, cantinas, natural salad cafe & the Luny Bean coffee shop with some of the best coffee & deserts. a fun & short outing with easy bus service, atxi ride or pulmonia carts. This is the Mexican beach and small fishing boat fleet. Get a coconut opened up to drink from a roadside stand on the street or in the restuarant.
