Emerald Rose is a beautiful beach house just 150 paces from a walkover to the sugar sand beach along the Gulf of Mexico. The house is part of the Summers Edge community which is comprised of approximately 50 single family beach homes. There are 2 heated community pools. The street is gated to create the safety of a dead end street. The bike trail is at the end of the street and continues in each direction for miles. The center of Seaside is an easy 10 minute ride.
There are two decks on the second floor and a screened porch on the first. My favorite place is the deck off the second floor master where you can hear the Gulf and see the water. The first floor TV/ sitting room is ideal for the kids to take a break from the beach or at night to play X-box, watch a movie or just hang out with the other kids. The second floor has a fully equipped kitchen and a very spacious great room for the family to play and enjoy each others company. The second master on the first floor (with a private bath) allows for everyone to have the necessary privacy.
The area is a beautiful beach community with unique shops and restaurants. An evening at the Red Bar or Cafe 30A cannot be beat. There is only one high-rise along the approximately 20 miles of scenic 30A so the beach and community are always comfortable. Destin is only 20 minutes away if you feel the need to see many people and crowded spaces.
Golf is close by including Destin and Sandestin. Wind surfing, kayaking, hiking, surfing, swimming and much more is just out the door.
Emerald Rose is our family's favorite place in the world and we treat it as such. It is very well cared for and decorated. We are sure you will enjoy your stay as much as we enjoy our days at the beach!

The beach house has 2 decks on 2nd floor and a screened porch in front. Downstairs has a TV/sitting room for kids. The 2nd floor has a fully equipped kitchen and a very spacious great room for the family to enjoy. Convenient to fabulous shopping and restaurants. Our house is on a dead end street (gated) that intersects the bike path which goes for miles in each direction along beautiful beach communities, shops and restaurants. Seaside is an easy 10 minute bike ride. There are two state parks within 5 miles and 1/2 mile that are along the beach. There is only one high-rise along the 20 miles of scenic 30A so even in high season, the beach is beautiful and the area enjoyable. Emerald Rose at Seagrove Beach is a fun, happy, safe and beautiful place for your family vacation or winter retreat.

Year Purchased: 2005
Emerald Rose is owned by my family and my father. Our kids are now 19 and 14. Over the last 6 years Emerald Rose has become our favorite place in the world. We spend Christmas there with our extended family, a week in the summer by ourselves (and sometimes friends of our kids) and 2 or 3 weeks there over the winter. My wife has great taste so everything is tastefully done and very well cared for.
Why the Owner Chose Summer's Edge
Our first visit to the Seagrove Beach area was over 20 years ago. Although we have family troughout the state of Florida, Seagrove is the only area we looked in to buy a beach house. The neighborhood feel of Summers Edge, the beauty of the area and the warmth of Emerald Rose sold us the first time we stepped inside. In fact, we purchased the house after being inside only once. Being close to Seaside and the other beautiful developments is great but we really like the eclectic feel of Seagrove. It is the best of all of the areas along 30A.
The Unique Benefits of this House
The sense of privacy in Emerald Rose is terrific along with the realization that you are in a beautifully decorated and well kept house just a two minute walk from the beach. The house is great for families to share time together while still offering enough privacy to enjoy the entire stay.
We have been fortunate to have many repeat guests . I am enjoyed getting to know many families,even if only by phone as they plan their beach vacation.

For years we rented a different house every summer, always looking for the perfect place, until we found Emerald Rose...we love it so much it's been our rental of choice for the last 7 years. Located on a quiet street, the house is beautifully furnished and very well maintained, with all the comforts and amenities needed to ensure a wonderful trip. The floor plan with 2 master suites is ideal as my husband and I travel with my brother and his wife, our mother, and all the kids. There is plenty of space and privacy for everyone, and the common areas are designed to accommodate our large group as we cook and dine together in the evenings. The two balconies, screened porch, and downstairs sitting area provide extra space for reading and relaxation. A walk to the beach or pool takes only a minute or two, and the paths and boardwalk make it an easy trip even with young children in tow. The neighborhood is very family-friendly and the atmosphere on the beach is appropriate for all. Small markets, restaurants, and a Publix grocery store are all within a short drive. The owners continually update the house which they so clearly love, and each visit reveals something new that they have added or changed. They are extremely nice and easy to work with, making our repeated trips even more enjoyable and simple to coordinate...we are looking forward to another great vacation this summer.

Our family has stayed at Emerald Rose for several years now. The house is very well furnished and maintained and the owners extremely friendly and accommodating. We really enjoy the layout of the house which offers privacy to those looking for a quiet moment. We all gather each evening in the kitchen and adjoining porches as we prepare dinner while enjoying a little music and drink. The beach is just a couple of minutes away down easily walked paths and boardwalks. The neighborhood, beach, and pool are very family oriented. Restaurants, seafood markets, and grocery stores are very nearby and easily accessible. We have vacationed in many places over the years and have spent countless hours searching for the perfect place but have yet to find a better value than Emerald Rose. We very much look forward to two weeks in paradise this summer!

I have stayed at the Emerald Rose three times now, and everytime is better than the last. The easy access to the beach, pools in the neighborhood, and closeness to downtown Seagrove makes it a great place to stay. The house itself is in immaculate condition; I was suprised at the size of the bedrooms for a beach house, and the great amenities that the house provided. Besides this the family who owns the house are wonderful people whom made the scheduling and the stay very easy. Not once has the house been even a bit dirty on the inside or the out when i have stayed there. I would definitely suggest this house to a family, couple, or group of friends looking for something in this area.

We just returned from a week at Emerald Rose. It was a fantastic way to stay in Seagrove. My wife and our family have been vacationing in Seagrove for over 16 years. We have always stayed at One Seagrove Place, because its on the beach. I had a little hesitation staying off the beach, but I will do so from now on. Emerald Rose helped me change my mind! They house is wonderful, spacious and very relaxing. Its big enough if you have a number of adults w/ kids and small enough if you wanted to go w/ just a small family. I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a house to stay in. Thank you for allowing us to stay in your home away from home. We hope to return again soon.
