This very contemporary style open plan studio apartment is located on the very top of fashionable Nob Hill on a secluded mature tree lined pedestrian lane which only has 5 small houses, lovely gardens, privacy and quietness-yet it is only a 10 minute walk to Union Square, the center of San Francisco.
It is a 12 minute walk to the Moscone Center and the Financial District. There are also a lot of lovely restaurants within a 3 to 5 minute walk such as "1550 Hyde" and "The Nob Hill Cafe". The Nob Hill hotels such as The Fairmont and The Huntington are a 5 minute walk.
The studio has a contemporary style living room with a wood burning working fireplace and there is a VIEW of the Golden Gate Bridge and the Palace of Fine Arts. The palate of the living room is moss green, black, charcoal, white and chestnut. It is very beautifully decorated with pure linens and pure cottons. This studio has been described as very "John Paulson in style".
The kitchen is large and has a moss green counter top all the way around the kitchen. There are stainless steel cabinets and there is a Miele dishwasher, stainless range and stainless under counter U-Line fridge. The kitchen has every appliance you could possibly need.
The dining table is custom designed by the owner and fabricated by well known craftsman Peter Jeal who also crafted the stainless handbasin unit in the bathroom. The bathroom is very contemporary with innovative tiling that forms a stripe feature down the shower wall. the bathroom also has a hat box toilet. There is great contemporary original artwork throughout the apartment by well known California artists. The bed is a king sized bed and is clothed with 800 count pure cotton sheets. The duvet and pillows are down. The bed is very elegant with a charcoal pure wool coverlet and a chestnut pure cotton duvet cover.

I now practice as an aviation attorney in San Francisco. I have 5 vacation rentals on the same block on the top of Nob Hill in San Francisco. my hobbies are horseback riding (English), skiing, tennis and hiking. I am also an enthusiastic cook and collect contemporary art.

This studio is awesome in every way. It's in a perfect location, on a beautiful quiet street. It has an incredibly inviting, warm feeling but is modern and fun at the same time. We really enjoyed waking up in the morning and peeking through the trees to the view of the Museum of Natural Science and the Golden Gate Bridge. Everything we needed was there, and Patricia was so accomodating and nice. Walking up to the door gives the feeling of being on vacation in a small village in Italy. I would highly recommend this rental to anyone seeking a quiet romantic weekend away. Thank you Patricia!

I just returned home from staying in the great apt. in Nob Hill for 16 nights. Great location, you can even pick up the trolley right outside the door into downtown. On a clear day you can even see the golden gate bridge from the window by the bed!

Fantastic little place in a great location. Close to transport, cable car stop out the front and close proximity to lots of nice cafe's and markets. Lovely view.Would highly reccommend!
