Just a quick note to tell you how much we enjoyed our stay at the Collett Creek Cabin. When you said it was secluded you weren't kidding! We loved the peace and quiet and the sound of the creek, and during the day we had a chance to go to Smoky Mtn National Park as well as the Biltmore Mansion. Otherwise we just relaxed and recharged our batteries. The cabin was exactly as described: incredibly cozy and comfortable. We look forward to visiting the area again sometime and we'll keep your cabin in mind when we start making our plans! Best wishes, John

Thank you so much for letting us use your cabin. It was sooooooooooooooo nice! We loved it and will definitely be back. I have some pictures of the cabin from a different angle if you want me to send those along. The hot tub....how can I tell you how much we loved it??? Just by the way, I think you've thought of everything to fill the cabin. We did use the grill for steaks on Saturday night. We cooked in both days and unfortunately couldn't get the Saints/Panthers game. But, since it was so bad, no worries!! Thank you again, Tracy

I just wanted to let you know that we had a wonderful time on Collett Creek, everything was perfect. I loved it that we had to drive through the creek to get to the cabin! We first arrived at night so we did stop when we saw the creek but then I pulled out the directions and sure enough we just drove right through. (Great directions!) The creek was low as expected due to the near drought conditions but it did rain on our last day and we spent the entire day just watching the creek rise and listening as it got louder and louder. The Cherohola Skyway was beautiful! We found Bald River Falls on the other side of the skyway but after picnicking and rock hopping we didn’t have time to check out any of the other falls in the area. We never were able to make it to the Tail of the Dragon either. It was a very laid back vacation; we didn’t do near as much hiking as we normally do but did a lot more relaxing than most of our trips. I hope we are able to come back some day. I will definitely recommend your place to my friends. Also I bought a few baking pans and mixing bowl so we could make muffins and brownies. I left them at the cabin for your other guests to use. I would have e-mailed you sooner but I had a Dr’s. appointment the Monday after we got back and I found out that I’m 20 weeks pregnant! Needless to say things have been rather hectic and it actually feels like a month since we were relaxing on Collette Creek. We were not planning on having children and it was totally unexpected but God has a plan for everyone and a reason for everything he does so we are exited about our baby boy. That’s right; they even told me what I was having. Unbelievable! So thank you for letting us spend our last vacation alone (at least for a very long time) at your cabin. It meant more than you will ever know... Diane

Cabin was beautiful – it was such a wonderful treat and so relaxing. Of course it rained all weekend but the rain on the roof and the rushing creek was awesome. Everything was perfect. I have had several people ask about it so we will see if some contact you. Thanks, Dawn
