Wonderful place! We look forward to staying here whenever we visit the area. Great for children, owners are right next door and incredibly hospitable and helpful. The pool is well-kept, the grounds are charming, and the house has a very comfortable personality of its own. Loved it. The Canal Walk, nearby, is nice, or even just strolling up the road. It must be remembered that this is an old house, with quirks like all old houses - the stairs can be tricky for some, so care must be taken. There is a firehouse nearby, and the siren goes off every day at noon and if there is a fire, so be aware. Not a big deal for us, but it might be a surprise to others. Antique shops and the famous DePuy Canal House Restaurant, as well as the Mohonk Mountain House (remember Road to Wellville? It was shot there!) are within walking distance. Can't wait to return!
