This flat is very well located in Little Italy and not far from Chinatown. Very pleasant and lively district, with a lot of restaurants and shops, very close to subway and other districts like Soho and Nolita. Owners were very helpful and accessible. We had a wonderful stay in NYC, largely due to this spacious and confortable flat. It is as described and the bedrooms were very quiet, which is highly valuable after full days of sightseeing. We would definitely and strongly recommend this appartment.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

This apartment provided a great base to explore Soho and surrounds with close access to 2 subway lines for uptown and lower Manhatten.... Clean, much larger than expected, quiet bedrooms - 2 with one ensuite bathroom and another- perfect to 2 middle aged women traveling- washing machine and dryer useful, very safe access via private lift and great cafes very close- even our own wine store across the road and a market around the corner! Communication with the owners was prompt and helpful, no issues at all! Would highly recommend this apartment.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, sightseeing.

The apartment was just perfect for our requirements...a bedroom and bathroom each with plenty of space...two women traveling together. We enjoyed the novelty of our own elevator to our lounge and windows overlooking the street..even a glimpse if the Empire State Building in the distance! The laundry and kitchen facilities were useful and the apartment was an easy walk to 2 subway lines and many shops and cafes- would definitely stay here again and recommend it to all. The owners were very prompt to respond to all queries and helpful.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

Family of five with three adult children - perfect location: close to lots of subway lines. Surrounded by great Italian restaurants, close to Chinatown, Soho, Nolita, TriBeCa. Great shopping, Apartment very clean and really well appointed. Great security. We felt very much at home. Price was very reasonable, owners were very accessible and accommodating. We were greeted personally and given a really comprehensive tour of the apartment and facilities. The laundry facilities were a godsend. Pharmacy and groceries really close by. I would definitely recommend this propertyRecommended for: People with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

the flat was very comfortable and spacious. I was there with my mother and two children and we felt it was just right for everyone to have its own space. The kitchen appliances are excellent. The beds are very comfortable and warm, and given that we found ourselves with no electricity and heating due to the hurricane, that was highly appreciated! the area is great and there are a couple for very near subway stop to go uptown + loads of restaurants and bars to choose from, Prince street's shopping area very close... really great!Recommended for: Families with young children

The condo is nestled in the heart of Little Italy amid many old & rebuilt tenements. The Restaurants are varied and wonderful with a great cafe on the corner. The condo is as described with plenty of space for two couples. The subway is a short walk away, we bought a 7day pass, and is a gateway to Manhattan. We visited the Statue of Liberty (reserve ahead), the Museum of Natural History, Greenwich Village, Grand Central & Rockefeller Center, walked Brooklyn Bridge and shopped till we dropped (from Century 21 to Bloomingdales). There's just a feel good atmosphere surrounding this Mulberry Street location.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

From the day we booked this apartment we knew we had made the right decision. Prior to our arrival the correspondence was excellent, very friendly and helpful. There were five in our party and we found the apartment to be spacious, clean and extremely comfortable for our stay of two weeks. The beds were very comfortable and there was no street noise as the bedrooms are at the back of the apartment. Absolute bliss after a busy day sightseeing and shopping. We enjoyed being only a short walk to the metro and to all the shops on Broadway. The Wholefoods store for organic food was not far away and there are a multitude of restaurants to choose from. Wild Ginger around the corner was a favourite of ours. For the excellent location and price as well as comfort, we would most definitely stay here again and recommend this apartment to our New Zealand friends who are staying in New York.Did you find this review helpful? Just returned from spending a week in New York at this wonderful apartment! A few days before arriving we found out that the San Gennaro Festival was starting the day we arrived. We would not be able to be dropped off in front of the apartment since the whole street would be closed for 11 days... We were very worried. Did not have to be. The cab dropped us off a block away. One person went ahead and found exactly where the apartment was and it was and easy walk. We were also very worried about the noise since there were suppose to be 1 million people enjoying the festival. No problem we would hear some announcements but not much more. Being right in the midst of the festival was FUN. Good food right out your door and being able to watch right outside the window. All in all we had a great time. Colletta was there to meet and great us and was a delight to talk to. The subways are maybe 3 or 4 short blocks away and gave us a choice of the 6, J, Z B or D trains. We had no problem getting around. I would definitely recommend this apartment and would stay again.Recommended for: People with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

I travel to N.Y. on business several times a year so I'm very familiar with the City. I had not stayed in this area before. My wife and I brought our daughters (10 and 13) for a week as part of our summer vacation.. The location is excellent. It is close to great restaurants, shopping and the subway lines. We took one cab the entire trip -- from Penn Station with our luggage. The apartment is well appointed, comfortable and private. It is also quiet, which can be an issue in some buildings in N.Y. We were able to get anywhere we liked by walking and subway. Colleta met us right on time and everything was as promised. We'll be back, and I may even rent it for my next extended business trip.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, sightseeing.

We are 3 Belgian shopping girls who rented this appartment for 1 week and we loved every minute of it! The location is perfect (Little Italy and Soho), nice restaurants and bars nearby and the subway is just around the corner. Every morning we started with our own breakfast (shops in the same street) in the spacious kitchen and living room. The bedrooms are in the back: the peace and quiet - when you fall into bed after an exhausting day - is more than welcome! We will certainly recommend this condo to our friends and family.Recommended for: Age 55+, girls getaway, tourists without a car, sightseeing.

We have been entirely satisfied with this appartment. It is perfectly well located, quiet and very comfortable (NY is an exhausting city). It was clean and very easy to look after. The owner has been very helpful in answering questions and solving problems (a minor problem with the heating has been very rapidly dealt with). No doubt we would like to come back, in the meantime we surely will recommend it to friends and family...Recommended for: People with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Our stay at Melburrys was fantastic.only 3 blocks from the subway, lots of markets and restos to have a great meal. Everything was clean and in order, we had a great time with muy husband and our 3 daughters. Tha place is very cozy and you have lots of space for clothes, wardrobes with plenty towels and sheets. The kitchen has everything you need, the beds are very comfortables. The week went by fast and if we have to go back to NY we will be more than happy to be able to get back to Mulberrys 176 again!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We very much enjoyed our stay in this loft in a wonderfully colorful and lively neighborhood. Little Italy, Chinatown, LES, Nolita, Noho, Soho, the East Village, Greenwich Village and beyond, are all at your feet to explore. You are easy walking distance to all the big stores on Broadway, like Bloomingdales, Uniqlo, Crate and Barrel. Yet away from that hustle and bustle in a true NYC neighborhood. There are subway stations nearby to go farther afield. The apt. is comfortable, clean, very spacious for NYC, and light. The two bedrooms located in the back of the flat are quiet. The beds are comfortable. The bathrooms are handsome and new. The building with keyed elevator feels safe and secure. The elevator is very nice, new, and large, and opens right into the living room. The owners, Taunya and Mike, are extremely professional and responsive to any questions or concerns, and the manager/housekeeper Coletta is delightful, friendly, competent, and welcoming. The petite kitchen is adorable with top-of-the-line appliances. We very much enjoyed shopping for provisions in all the wonderful nearby shops (be sure to buy pasta at the ancient pasta shop on Grand near Mulberry, the best we ever ate! ) , and the huge Whole Foods up on Houston St.(they deliver), and enjoyed leisurely breakfasts and lunches at the apt. There are also lots of options for delivered take-out, as well as ENDLESS wonderful restaurants to explore. We liked Pulinos, Peasant, Public, Tartinery, Epistrophy, Emporio, Rubirosa, and Lombardi's Pizza, to name just a few within blocks. It's restaurant heaven! There is a 24 hour Duane Reade drug store located nearby at Spring and Lafayette, which was useful. Probably my one suggestion would be to add a small cafe table & chairs in the living room so guests can eat there, instead of perched on 2 kitchen stools or on the sofa. And to replace the curtains with easier-to-open blinds, as the views out both the front and back of the flat are charming. We hope to return in the future. We could have easily stayed a month! It's such a lovely alternative to a hotel.Recommended for: Age 55+, girls getaway, tourists without a car, sightseeing.

What a fabulous location, and it's true what they say location, location, location!!! Between Chinatown, Soho, Nolita, and Little Italy. A little bit of everything. My family completely enjoyed th area and especially the loft. Spacious, felt like home, the kitchen is small bit extravagant. Top of the line appliances. Plenty of supplies and very comfortable for our family. We traveled with our 16 and 13 year old. Surroundings were safe, pleasant and friendly neighbors. Close to everything!!! Easy access to subway for all areas. Fabulous coffee shops for a bit of java and cookies and amazing selection of restaurants. Husband completely loved the fresh duck he was able to buy 2 blocks away... Both him andy daughter say, " the best we've had ". it really is about location!! Colletta was very helpful and always available. So comfortable. My kids ha their own room and bathroom. Every room has a flat screen and cable, complimentary wifi and plenty of privacy and space. Amazing time!! Will definitely return!!!!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway.

I have just returned from a fabulous 5 night stay with my family in this lovely apartment. There were 5 of us -- my parents, my husband and I, and my sister, and we all slept very comfortably with plenty of room in the living room to relax after a long day pounding the NYC streets. The owner, Taunya, was great. She was very responsive and accommodating (she allowed us to leave our luggage in the apartment after check out). The apartment is clean and modern and perfectly located on the edge of SoHo and Little Italy, where you are surrounded by beautiful restaurants and shopping, and close to several subway stations. I would absolutely recommend it to a family, a group of girlfriends, or two couples. It's a far better deal than the exorbitant hotels in NYC.Recommended for: People with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We enjoyed our stay here in late August, despite Hurricane Irene. Location is superb, right on the northern edge of Little Italy. Subway is 2 blocks away in either direction. There are loads of touristy restaurants right outside the door on Mulberry. Or you can stroll a few blocks to some great spots: Cafe Habana, Torrisi, Little Cupcake shop, the list goes on. Small grocery stores are nearby, or walk 10 minutes to Whole Foods on Houston. Apartment itself is relatively modern and roomy overall. Kitchen is smaller than it looks in photos, but has top-grade appliances and plenty of dishes, pots, etc. Bathrooms are also small, but like the rest of unit were very clean on arrival. Lots of towels, sheets, and washer/dryer and air conditioners worked fine. Minor complaints: no soap in either bathroom and the bedroom windows leaked during the storm. But hey it was a hurricane. Taunya was great throughout rental process and checked in with us before and after. Terrific alternative to a 4-star hotel. You won't be disappointed.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, tourists without a car, sightseeing.

Our family of 4 stayed at this Mulberry Street apartment for a week in August. I can't say enough about the amazing location. In less than 5 minutes, you're in Chinatown, Nolita, or Soho. Various subway lines were nearby so we easily made our way all over Manhattan. With all the Little Italy restaurants right outside the front door, we never cooked, but the kitchen in the apartment was very well equipped with a Viking range, refrigerator and dishwasher. The apartment is very roomy, especially by New York standards. It is clean and comfortable and we felt very safe. Traveling with 2 kids, having 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms was the ultimate luxury. It was so much better than cramming us all into a hotel room! The bedrooms face the back courtyard and are extremely quiet. Coletta met us there and was so helpful in showing us around and making sure everything was just right. The owner, Taunya, was great, very easy to work with and quick to respond to questions. I hope that we will be able to stay at the apartment for our next New York adventure!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

We stayed a month (couple plus 2 small kids and our nanny). The apartment was great for our needs. The location was perfect -- 2 blocks from Chinatown for affordable shopping & great produce, 3 blocks from SOHO for fantastic restaraunts and shopping, a mile from the Brooklyn bridge and the financial district to the south and 1 mile from Washington Square Park, Chelsea and Union Square to the north.. The building is only 5 years old, so in great shape. The apartment is huge by NYC standards. The bedrooms are in the back so it's very quiet. The kitchen has a viking stove, a large refrigerator, dishwasher and an eating area which was perfect for cooking. The wifi, televisions in every room, and very compfortable beds were also great. Coletta was very responsive and helpful. The only issue we had was the air conditioning in the main 2/3 of the apartment stopped working before we arrived. It took over 10 days to repair, while NYC was having 90 degree, humid days. Coletta and the owner were very responsive and tried to fix the issue. But the fact remained we were extremely uncomfortable in 2/3 of the apartment for a big part of our stay.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, tourists without a car, sightseeing.

The apartment was fine (rented from 6-18-11 to 6-24-11) but the description was not entirely accurate. It is definitely not in SoHo. It's in Little Italy which is only a couple of blocks long; the rest of the area is Chinatown. The description also says it sleeps 5-6. This is true if someone wants to sleep on a roll-away bed in the living room and another on a worn sofa. The bedrooms sleep two in each bed. The apartment could be really cute, but it is "tired." The living room furniture and rugs are worn out and slightly dirty as are the walls. Several of the wall plugs and lamps did not work as well as one of the hair dryers and one of the bedroom clocks, and the air conditioning unit in the living room didn't work which made it especially hard on the person who had to sleep in the living room. There is a balcony which connects both bedrooms but the door in the guest bedroom doesn't open. Only 2 sets of keys are provided which made it hard for 5 ladies who like to go their separate ways. On the plus side, the apartment was clean and the beds were very comfortable. There was plently of hot water in the showers. We are 5 ladies in our early 60's and always felt safe in the area. There are many restaurants on the same street and the one next door (Benito One) was delicious and very reasonable. Several times I contacted the owner by email and each time received a prompt reply.Recommended for: Tourists without a car

My 2 sisters and a 20 year old niece stayed in this great apartment for 5 nights. I've stayed in several nice hotels in many areas of NY. Tribeca and nearby areas are the most stylish/accessible to me. Great restaurants and bars, human scaled buildings...layers of history. We really loved the beds in this apt. as well as the size and it was extremely well situated. The front doorway from Mulberry is in a well lit fairly busy area (not too busy but not dark and lonely either). We weren't bothered by noise however. It was a peaceful roomy place to come home to. The only downside is that Tribeca isn't adjacent to Central Park! Oh well! We had Bfast in the apt...Balthazar croissants..(2 blocks over) and our own coffee.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, people with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

It really is a great place to stay. We were a party of three seniors, we found the elevator opening into the lounge a real bonus. The apartment was clean, comfortable and large by N.Y. standards and it felt like home in no time. It was great to get back there in the evening, open a bottle of wine and sit and talk about all the places we had visited that day. The location had a real buzz about it but we felt completely safe at all times, with so may places to eat and the subway down the road, it was just perfect. Tauyna couldn't have been more helpful, a great person to deal with, always there to answer your questions. I would highly recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a place to stay in N.Y.Recommended for: People with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, sightseeing.

The 3 of us stayed in this loft suite for 18 days during our 17 year old daughter's Spring Break and we have just returned home to the west coast. Two years ago, we stayed on West 20th and last year, we stayed in a unit on West 50th in Manhattan, but this year's location on Mulberry was the best for us. Very close to numerous good restaurants of a wide variety, great subway access, and a short walk to nearby SoHo shopping around Broadway. (For the girls that is!), The 5th floor unit is spacious, bright and it very quickly felt like home with it's great appliances, clean large bathrooms and a secure no-delay elevator. Travelling with two girls, we always need two bathrooms (a luxury in Manhattan) and the bedrooms are spacious as well. Everything was clean on arrival. Absolutely no issues!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, sightseeing.

I stayed here with 2 friends for 8 nights in February 2011. The location is excellent with numerous tasty restaurants and interesting bars in the vicinity. It is close to the subway which enables easy access to other Manhattan districts and it is easy to walk to Greenwich Village and great shopping areas on Broadway. The apartment is spacious and very well maintained, having 2 bathrooms and elevator access directly into the living room was a real treat. The owner was also a delight to deal with, always prompt and efficient when corresponding. We had a great time there and would stay there again and would definitely recommend it to other travellers wanting an apartment in NYC.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, people with disabilities, age 55+, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

The apartment was perfect for our stay in New York with our two teenage sons. It is in the heart of diverse and interesting neighbourhoods; China Town (great food, tempted by the foot rubs!) little Italy (busy vibe on a saturday night, wonderful food shops) Soho (shopping and cutting edge art). The New Museum of Contemporary Art is interesting and just a short walk.We enjoyed Nyonya restaurant just around the corner, really good value. We used Spring St subway for an easy ride up to Grand Central station (the cheesecake is fabulous). The apartment was very comfortable and we loved the lift! My mother, myself and my three aunties recently spent 11 nights staying at this property. Tanya, the owner, was prompt with her replies and extremely helpful, answering our many questions about the area and making a few suggestions of her own. As 5 women travelling together, we felt extremely safe in the apartment and walking the surrounding streets. The beds were comfortable and more importantly, everything was clean !!! We were met after a 30 hour journey by colletta, who explained the ins and outs to us in a warm and friendly manner. We could call her with any problems throughout our stay. There is a well stocked grocery store 5 minutes walk away and the subway was just around the corner. Cafes and restaurants are in abundance !! I would recommend this apartment strongly.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

My husband and I brought our 22 yr old daughter to New York for the first time and our stay was really made by this great apartment. Location was perfect, lots happening in the neighbourhood, great shopping on Broadway just a few blocks away and excellent restaurants within walking distance. Subways and buses were within easy reach. The apartment was light, spacious and comfortable (beds and sofa as good as home!) and spotlessly clean. The convenience of wi-fi and the private elevator were great. SO much better than having 2 hotel rooms. Taunya could not have been more helpful with prompt replies to my questions and we would certainly stay there again without hesitation - and indeed hope to do so! Many thanks Taunya (and Coletta!)Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Everything was clean, nice, and felt like you were really at home. Saw NY in a totally different way. The location...I can't say enough of how fabulous it was. The owners have done an excellent job taking care of the property and were really accomodating. Everyday, we ended the work day by having a glass of wine on the balcony. It was awesome.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, girls getaway, tourists without a car.

The appartment is very well located, so handy with the lift taking you directly into the living room and confortable, clean, spacious and bright... We enjoyed little cosy restaurants, lovely shops and subway in the area. It was pure joy for the whole family (2 adults and 3 children: 12, 10 and 7) If we ever come back to NY, no doubt we will be staying at yours. In the meantime, we will recommend it to our friends. Thank you so much for availability and kindness...Recommended for: People with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, tourists without a car, sightseeing.

I stayed at the condo in August with my family in preparation to take my daughter to NYU. It was a great experience. The place was beautiful, roomy, comfortable with all the amenities anyone could possibly need!! It's located on a charming street in the middle of little Italy. I would highly recommend it!!!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 2/2

We spent 2+ weeks in NYC in Dec 08, including Christmas (4 adults). We had rented other apartments on previous trips so we were looking for something special. I am pleased to say we found it. Fantastic location with great access to restaurants, shopping, supermarkets and the subway. We love the Nolita neighbourhood. Apartment was very clean & comfortable with heaps of natural light, real home away from home. The kitchen had everything we needed. We even cooked our Christmas lunch in the apartment. Wireless access and laptop were so convenient. The next time we are in town we know where we will stay. Thanks Taunya.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 1/1

A true home from home experience! We spent 4 days in November in Manhattan, combining business with pleasure. The location of the apartment was absolutely perfect...with shopping, restaurants and interesting sights just around the corner. We loved the neighbourhood and the flat was very comfortable and cozy. We'll definitely visit again!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 1/1

With this being our first time to NY we randomly picked this apartment and could not believe our luck. While Little Italy was the initial attraction the surrounding bars, boutiques and cafes were even better. The shopping on Broadway was also unexpected and access to the metro convenient. The apartment was a great size, well appointed, quiet and extremely comfortable for two adult couples. We would highly recommend this apartment to any of our friends. Kind RegardsDid you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 1/1

We stayed in the loft on our first trip to NYC and it was fabulous! The space worked well for our group, which consisted of 3 adults and two children. The location of the unit was very convenient with easy access to the subway, shopping, and excellent restaurants. Staying at the loft was a great part of our New York experience and we would definitely recommend it to others.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 1/2

We rented the apartment for my son’s graduation. We had a great time at the apartment. We were also fortunate that our stay included the weekend. We loved the transformation that took place Saturday and Sunday on Mulberry, from a business street to a bustling restaurant row with only foot traffic allowed where you can enjoy a very nice meal outdoor. It has 2 very nice bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a very spacious living room, a kitchen and a laundry. It is also at a very nice location. If you love Italian or Asian food, this apartment is a must. It is in the heart of Little Italy and right next to Chinatown. I would definitely recommend it to my friends and would not mind staying again. Thank you so much Taunya.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 1/1
