We had an AWESOME time! The cabin is absolutely perfect for 2 people. We have gone to Heber for years but normally we camp... This time we decided to spoil ourselves and rent a cabin. We weren't too sure about it but it was perfect!! The cabin is very secluded off in the woods away from everyone... Which is exactly what we wanted! It has everything you would need. It was very comfortable and we felt right at home staying there. I was very pleased with the cleanliness! I have absolutely no complaints... Well maybe one... That we had to leave! For you fishermen, the fishing is fantastic! We've always had 'good fishing' on the Little Red but we have never caught trout this big! We caught several anywhere from 10-15 inches long each! Trilda and Jim, I hate that we were not able to meet y'all but I can assure you that we will be booking again with you soon! Thank you soo much for allowing us to stay at your place! It was wonderful and we will be telling all of our friends and family about y'all! Hope to see you soon :)

What a super weekend! The cabin is perfect, clean and well appointed. We had a most relaxing couple of days fishing, reading, and hanging out on the dock. We look forward to coming back sooner than later. Thank you to Trilda, the perfect hostess!

Perfect Relaxing Weekend!

To start with, the cabin is immaculate. It is warm, cozy, private and inviting. It is well stocked with everything you need for your getaway. Just bring a bag, a fishing pole and a camera for taking pictures of your catch of the day and all the wildlife. We had deer surrounding the cabin one morning - they were literally outside every window. We loved it so much that just a month later, we have already planned another trip. Hoping the temp will be a little warmer next trip so we can take advantage of the lovely porch and sit out there and relax a while too! Highly recommend!

My wife and I celebrated our 40th Anniversary at the cabin. It was fantastic. Not a thing was missing. The porch was awesome. Great place to unwind and take in the scenery. Fishing was fantastic. Caught my first ever trout. My wife enjoyed the fishing dock and fell in love with the place. Far enough out, but yet close enough to check all the great places in the area. a taste of heaven

My wife and I spent 4 wonderful days during Labor day weekend at this beautiful get-away. It was more than we could have hoped for. I never thought we could spend so much time just sitting on the dock fishing. Trilda and Jim are awesome and our only regret is that we did'nt get enough time to get to know the more. This cabin is just a cute as it looks in the pictures. The area is beautiful and quiet. My husband & I stayed here for a weekend and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. (Even the dog seemed happier!) It was great to eat meals on the porch and to spend time fishing on the dock. We wish we could have stayed longer. Thanks so much Trilda & Jim.

I usually write one or two words on a review that sums up my opinion. This place and these people deserve more. The cabin was perfect in every way. When I way perfect, I mean the little things. Things like excellent furnishings, stainless appliances, dishes and cookware that look like they came from your house, not some garage sale. The ad says satellite. What it does not say is the full package with many of the premium channels added. I don't get that at a Hilton. The cabin and the grounds were spotless and the setting is a little piece of heaven. The owners value your privacy and it was only at my insistence that we met them. This is something I recommend. We all go on trips to get away from our daily routines. We hope that we have some good memories to bring home with us. The memory of these fine people will linger long after the memories of the fishing is long gone. We hope to return. phil & kathy elmore

My wife and I enjoyed our 10th wedding anniversary at this wonderful cabin. We wanted to choose a place that would force us to just relax and just enjoy each other. Well, we found exactly what we were looking for at this beautiful place. Sitting on the dock on the Little Red River was just an relaxing and enjoyable as sitting on the porch and watching the wildlife play all around us. My husband & I spent 4 nights here, & loved it! It is everything the website indicated, & was perfectly clean & neat! Every single light bulb worked! Nice appliances too! T.J. was extremely friendly & helpful. The river was beautiful & we caught all the trout we wanted! Went into town one afternoon for shopping/browsing, then had dinner @ Cafe Klazer's & sat outside on the river - delish! I recommend this property!

We just spent three days at the cabin. Fishing from the dock was the best fishing that I have ever experienced on the Little Red in five trips. I caught 32 just fishing two or three hours each morning. The cabin was exactly as advertised. It was very clean and wonderfully decorated. The kitchen was furnished as well as our own house. Great place to stay on the Little Red River

The cabin is a great secluded place to stay but has great access to the river. The owner is very accomodating to the point she could see we didn't have a clue how to fish for trout so she brought us some of her own tackle to use. And with her help my husband was able to catch his first trout right off of the cabin's private deck. I can only imagine what this access could bring to someone who knows what they are doing. TJ was so friendly and I enjoyed talking with her before we left. The pictures show you exactly what you get and that is a clean, well kept cabin. I would recommend this to anyone visiting the Little Red River.

Great Place to Visit

We stayed in the cabin 5 nights and wish we could have stayed forever. All of the information in the listing is accurate. I can't think of a thing I would add or change. The fishing dock was awesome. My husband especially enjoyed the old hand pump at the cleaning station, which was extremely handy when cleaning all the fish we caught. We caught fish from the dock everyday and the people boating and fishing on the river were so nice. If you are looking for a nice quiet place to relax, this is the place. If you are looking for a great place to fish, you can't beat the Little Red River. The owners were so nice to talk to. It was like we had known them forever. We would love to vacation here again.

Cute Cabin on the Hill Overlooking the Little Red River

We spent 3 nights in this great cabin. Everything in the cabin was as described above. A peaceful escape from the rat race. Not the greatest weather, and the Dam was generating so wade fly fishing was limited. However, I hired a local guide and had great success drifting down from Lobo Landing to Pangburn before the thunderstorm forced us off the River in the early afternoon. Trilda and Jim were very personable and helpful. Ate at Mack's fish and steak house and managed to spray the county sherriff with hot sauce! Food was good and even better I escaped arrest.

Amazing Place

This place was awesome. I used it as a spring break get away with two buddies and we had a blast. Fishing and hanging out with nature was just what we all needed. Going back to school well rested was all due to this place. This cabin is beautiful and is kept up amazingly. The owners are extremely nice and are always there if you need help with anything. My friends and I will most definitely be coming back.

Relaxing Retreat

My husband and I have spent the last two New Years' weekends at this quiet cabin. We don't like to fish, but this cabin is still perfect for us. It provides the perfect place to unwind after all of the holiday rush. We enjoy the toasty fireplace the most of all. We would highly recommend this little hideaway for anyone looking for a short escape from a hectic world.

Perfect Spot for Our Vacation

We spent a week in this wonderful cabin on the Little Red river and we could not have been more pleased. We found the cabin to be clean, comfortable and just what the two of us needed in a home away from home. It is so quiet in the mornings - no phones ringing or neighbors mowing lawns (!) - and we loved every second we spent there. If you are a fisherman, it's an excellent place to just walk down the path to your own dock. If not, it's a great place to sit, read a book, and watch the river flow. We found the cabin to be located close enough to the town of Heber Springs to enjoy restaurants, etc., but far enough that we didn't feel we were "in the city." We'll be back. We loved it and were sad to leave! Trilda and Jim - you guys made our stay everything we could have wished for. Thanks for everything!

Beautiful, peaceful, serene ! Our third year in a row to come up to this little jewel by the river. Jim & Trilda are wonderful! Relaxing on the porch and watching the wildlife that abounds is so neat, we saw a deer, foxes, a river otter and a coyote - plus tons of beautiful birds - we also caught over 20 fish from the cabins private dock - what a great time. Can't wait to come again - thanks so much for sharing your little piece of heaven with us !

Serenity Now!

What a tranquil, comfortable setting for some R&R. My husband and I enjoyed a wonderful stay at the cabin as we celebrated our 25th anniversary. The owner has thought of everything you might need, so just bring yourselves, some fishing poles if you wish, a few groceries, and have a wonderful respite from the busy life. We saw some beautiful birds, so bring binoculars if you are a bird-watcher. It's a short trip to Greers Ferry Lake, which is also lovely.

Wonderful Experience

My husband and I just returned from this lodge. We highly recommend it! We needed a peaceful, quiet atmosphere to destress and this was the perfect place to go. It is remote yet has a beautiful river view, is close to water activities and some really good eating places. The new style mountain cabin was extremely clean and had everything in it we needed. The grounds around the cabin were beautiful and at night we saw fox and deer --it looks as good in person and it does in the picture. Trilda and Jim are such kind and accomodating people and we feel like we have met new friends. What a treat! We hope to go back soon.

We stayed at in the cabin in June 09.This was the best vacation we have ever had.Peacefull,Clean fresh air,privacy,Great fishing and wonderfull people.Evenings on the porch with 3 Foxes everynight at the same time.You could set you watch with these animals.As well as other wildlife.We are going back for 8 days in October and we can not wait to see the people we made friends with again.We are even thinking about retireing in that area.If you love the woods you will love this cabin and the area.You will have a ball with things to see all the time.It was worth every penny......

My daughter and I stayed here over the Labor Day Holiday, and we were delighted with the cabin, the ammenities and the beautiful location. The cabin is attractive, well-equiped and very comfortable. The fishing deck is great fun, and it, too, has generous, comfortable seating. The owner is friendly and accomodating. We plan to return in the future. This is a great place for a single person, a couple or a small family. What a nice place!

Our summer vacation in this little cabin was perfect. Every amenity had been provided even the peace and quiet. My husband and I loved being able to fish from the dock. We appreciated our host and hostess for making us feel welcome and comfortable. Hopefully we will be returning in the Spring.
