This condo was absolutely the best I have ever stayed at. It was very nicely appointed and comfortable. The view from the balcony was outstanding and every morning and evening we watched the sting-rays frolicing off shore. One afternoon, a dolphin came within 10 yards of the shore and we had a bird's eye view watching him. It was very quiet and peaceful, but was also located within walking distance of any type of shopping,restuarant or fun that you would like to engage in. My daughter had a beach wedding in front of the condo and I could not have asked for a better venue.

This condo was a fabulous place to stay. The views were beautiful. The penthouse had a nice decorating flair. Tropical with pleasant colors. The kitchen was well equipped and functional. It was great having a washer and dryer, too. Everyone was very helpful to give us advise on how to get around, since we had never visited Panama City Beach before. We used the local coupon books to try out some of the tourist traps and we had lots of fun. The Dune Buggy track was a blast and Angelo's Steak Pit had great food. We walked the beach to the Barefoot Resort and enjoyed drinks with a fabulaous Sunset. We walked the beach a lot. The white sands and cool breezes really was relaxing. Overall if we venture South again, we will try to use this property again. We had a great, stress free vacation.

Loved it! Our thanks to Rick and Patty for a wonderful stay at their 25th floor penthouse condo! Sunrise Beach Condominiums is located just before the Wyndham resort heading east. Sunrise Beach has its own beach. The views from the 25th floor condo are nothing short of spectacular. The water is so clear, you can see through to the Gulf floor. Visibility from the 25th floor on a clear day is unlimited! The walls between the condos are very soundproof so you do not hear much noise. The condo itself has a great number of amenities. Microwave, Stove, Dishwasher, fully stocked kitchen with silver and cookware. Refrig, Washer and Dryer are all inside the unit. 3 bedrooms with a master that goes right out to the deck and overlooks the gulf. There are 3 different sets of sliding glass doors that serve as 3 entrances to the outside deck. Nice big bathroom for the Master Bath. 2 other bedrooms and bathrooms are available in the unit. Very relaxing and very comfortable and the price was right! The beach has sugar white sand and the water is a beautiful emerald color. Even on a cloudy day - it is beautiful! There are plenty of great restaurants in the area. Shuckums was our local favorite for Oysters. Reggae J's has amazing grouper dishes and their "Day at the Beach" drink is fabulous if you like Rum. Sharky's is a great place and is within walking distance from the beach or road at Sunrise Beach. We've seen some negative reviews on Sharky's but our meal was fantastic. The All American Diner is not recommended but I would say that was our only bad meal. Pier Park has over 100 shops and runs from the beach to about 10 blocks north. Dillards, Marshalls, JC Penny are the anchor stores. Plenty of small shops also to peruse though. Beach Chairs - If your driving, bring em. If your from out of town, you may want to make arrangements to get them at the local target (pier park) or Walmart. The chair & umbrella rentals on the beach are $200+ for the week. That was our mistake. Coming from the Airport - First off, the airport is no longer in town. That was the old airport. A new one was built 2 years ago and not all the maps are up to date. 98 taxi is probably your best bet if you need transportation. Their price varies on the number of passengers. $40 is the norm one way. We actually rented a car on the east end of panama city (enterprise) to avoid all the excessive airport concession fees. Places to visit: Santa Rosa Beach & Apalachicola.

The condo itself was exceptional in terms of furnishings and location. It was nice being on the top floor with nobody above and great views from the wrap around balcony. We liked being slightly off the beaten path at the further end of the beach. Being on the beach was great and we happened to have nice weather during our stay. The owner was very easy to work with and the transaction went smoothly. The only negatives would be the AC system which was a little fussy and the Wi-Fi could probably use an upgrade. I had to use the cat.5 cable which was not a big deal. We would definitely stay here again if we returned to the area.

Our family so enjoyed our stay at your beach home. Pictures and description are so accurate, Beautiful - Beautiful - Beautiful. This home was such a pleasure to stay in and the views from the wrap around balcony are liking walking on the clouds. Would highly recommend this home to anyone and our family is looking forward to coming back and enjoying this beautiful home and the spectacular view. The condo was very nice and we enjoyed our stay. We felt like we were a guest in a lovely home. The views from the top floor was impressive! Despite bad weather the early part of the week, we had a lovely time and the weather cleared up the end of the week so we got to enjoy the beaches. I took lots of nice photos! My girlfriends and I had a great week in your home. Breakfast on the balcony watching dolphins each morning was my favorite. Your home is beautiful. We arrived at this magnificent condo and we were impressed. This condo is beautifully decorated and very very clean. We had a party of 5 and had plenty of privacy, yet plenty of room for us to be together. Every morning we watch dolphins play right out front of our balcony. The view was absolutely breathtaking. Our weather was perfect. The pool is beautiful and the beach is exquisite. After the first day, we decided that we are making reservations for next year. We can’t wait to come back. Thank you Rick for being so helpful and thank you and your wife for opening your home to us we loved staying there. We had the perfect vacation at your condo.

A Penthouse paradise

We love this place, When we walked into the door we were in awe. The condo was clean and well decorated, we felt very comfortable. The bedrooms are spaced apart, so no one feels they are cramped together. The view was wonderful . We seen dolphins every morning as we sipped our coffee on the balcony, A very peaceful and serene place. We will definately be renting this condo again.

This was the best rental experience I have had in my 28 years of vacationing at the beach. This is something we do every year and everything from the rental agreement to checkout was simple and easy. The unit was just as described and easy access to great food and Pier Park. It was something that I would recommend and will do again.

We arrived at the resort on Saturday in June and the weather was great. We entered into the unit and it was amazing. All the decor was beautiful. The unit had everything you could want and more to make your stay perfect. We have stayed in many Condo's in Panama City and this is by far one of the best we have had. We stayed with other family members that had never been to the area and could not have picked a nicer place for them to stay. We really appreciate being allowed to enjoy Ricks home and would love to visit again in the future

We traveled from Illinois to Panama City Beach with our three 20ish boys and stayed at this beautiful condo on the beach. This was the best vacation we have ever had. The condo was way above our expectations both in location and in luxury. I would highly recommend this property to anyone who gets the chance to book it. Absolutely Fantastic!!!!

This place is beautiful. It is warm and inviting. The pictures really dont show you how nice it is. My family had the best time vacationing in "The Penthouse Suite". I was afraid I wouldnt like being so high up but I now realize it is the best place to be. We enjoyed watching dolphins swim and play and the sunset views were amazing. The wrap around balcony is huge and my daughter loved playing outside. The owner, Rick, is a pleasure to talk to and he was more than helpful with any questions I had. I have to comment about the people at Sunset Beach. We met some of the nicest people there. Some were vacationing like us and some were seasonal residents. Everyone was friendly and kind. If you are looking for a nice place to take your family to make some wonderful memories, this is it. Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful home with my family. I look forward to our next trip.

Spring Break Getaway

We were very impressed with this beautiful "Penthouse" at Sunrise Beach. The decor was perfect, and the balcony views were breathtaking. Sunrise Beach is conveniently located near Pier Park where you can get in some great shopping and eat at some of the finest restaurants. The owner made reserving the condo such an easy process. I would definitely highly recommend this condo to my friends and family!

This was my second stay at this condo and it was great...again. We are still talking about how comfortable the bed in the master bedroom is. You have no worries with this condo or owner. The unit is decorated very nicely and is comfortable. The kitchen has every gadget you could possibly need. It is super clean making you want to leave it exactly like you found it. The beds are great, providing a super sleep after a day in PCB. The location and view is the best. The exercise room and pool area are top of the line. All communications with the owner went great and he keeps you up to date and informed. You can't go wrong with this unit at Sunrise Beach.

Relaxing atmosphere during off season

I found this property to be everything it was described as. The time of year we were there was quiet but with just enough restuarants and activities to keep you busy if that's what you are looking for. The whole building was well maintained and even if the Gulf was a little cool the heated pool and jacuzzi did the trick. I would recommend this place to family and friends.

We had a great week. This condo is a special one, if feels like home. This condo has the view, you can watch the sun come up, and then you get a dazzling display when it goes down. My niece was enchanted by her friends, the dolphins and the fact that the sun sleeps in the ocean. Rick and his wife provide you with notebooks of things to do that include menu's so that you can make wise choices. They also have attraction coupons, thanks for the extra attention to detail that you offered. This is truly a one in a million condo. Rick was very nice and friendly and the property is by far the cleaniest condo we have stayed in. The condo is just as described in the listing, no actually it is better because you get the feeling that someone is sharing there home with you. This condo is well loved and it shows.

We stayed here for a girls getaway. It was so beautiful, well furnished, and a great location. Everyone had their own bedroom and nobody had to sleep on a twin size bed. The view from balcony is breathtaking. We visited the local wineries then sat outside on the balcony and with our wine and just relaxed. We packed a lot clothes thinking we would be out and about, but the condo is so nice we spent most of our trip in sweats and t-shirts hanging out at the condo. I've stayed at few condos in panama city beach, but this one by far, was the best one. Thanks Rick and Pattie.

My family used this and one other condo for a family reunion. This penthouse retreat was much more than a rental unit. It has been decorated and furnished to make you feel totally at home. Everything from the bath towels to the kitchen utensels were top notch. Rick's assistance in identifying restaurants and activities was invaluable. We definately recomend!

Our family enjoyed our vacation in this absolutley beuatiful condo. I recommend this place to everyone! The owners are great to work and the condo is spotless! The view of the ocean is breathtaking. 2009 Sunise Beach Panama Vacation

We really enjoyed our stay in the Penthouse at the Sunrise Beach Condo. It was on the 25th floor and we saw a lot of sea creatures we had never seen before in the ocean. The decor was beautiful and very quite. No one overhead making noise. Thanks again for all your help.

When we first seen this condo on line, the only thing holding us back was it was on the 25th floor. Well, all I can say is WOW! The view was fabulous! The condo was decorated in a very inviting way. Everything about this condo, was top of the line and all rooms were large. Each bedroom had its own bathroom and the master bedroom was the best I have every stayed in.King size bed, two large closets, garden tub and separate shower; you could not ask for more! The location of the condo is in the middle of all kinds of activities to please anyone and everyone! The wrap around balcony was fabulous! Access to the balcony was from the master bedroom, and two accesses from the living area. This is a very large, wide balcony with a view that could not be matched anywhere else in Florida! Truely, we had a wonderful time. Even my 69 year old Mother, loved the balcony from the 25th floor and she was very unsure where she would even go out on it before we arrived. The owner was very informative and answered any and all questions we had. They always got back with us quickly. We would definately recommend this condo to all of our friends and relatives. We already have aunts and uncles interested for the 2010 summer. We will be returning to this Condo again in 2011!

Stayed in this gorgeous penthouse condo for the first week of august and could not have picked a better vacation spot for a family. Beautiful views of the beach from the 25th floor balcony and so much to do within walking distance of the resort. We had five teenagers with us and while it was quiet and relaxing for my husband and I; it was fun, fast paced and great for our kids as well. Fantastic pools and workout room and no noise what so ever can be heard when inside this condo. You will really be missing out if you don/t take advantage of this place...it is a great deal and you will come away with great memories!!
