We are conveniently located three miles to Tahoe City Commons Beach on beautiful Lake Tahoe and one mile to the Truckee River Multi-Use Trail which is perfect for skating, biking and strolling. This section of the Truckee River is famous for its summer family rafting. The Tahoe Rim and Pacific Crest Trails are accessed via the 5-Lakes Trail, one mile from the chalet. The River Ranch Restaurant is just a mile from our front door. Three miles north is Squaw Valley Village specializing in well-known restaurants, High-Camp Gondola and seasonal outdoor events.
