Your true hideaway nestled in the Adirondack Mountains and on Lake Champlain. Total peace and quiet on your large property of heavily wooded forest with a bridge and creeks. Watch the changing leaves, go canoeing from your private beach or just sip cocoa in front of the fire while looking out to the family of deer on the front lawn. The house is built on top of a lush hill which faces Lake Champlain. Stairs leading to a bridge, where you can listen to the babbling brook which flows from the artisan well that flows below you, continues to the lake. Choose from a variety of water sports to pass the day away. Have a bonfire or BBQ on the beach. Go for a canoe ride with a picnic for two. Hunt for frogs in one of the creeks. We have a 16 foot brand new canoe with 4 adult life jackets and one child, as well as a 10 foot rowboat and a Paddle Boat and a 25 foot dock. We do have a mooring 15 feet deep. The beach is mostly sandy, unusual for Lake Champlain.
In the winter time just walk out the door to go sledding, tobogganing, ice fishing etc. or take advantage of our local Olympic ski slopes at Whiteface. Watch the leaves change in Autumn and visit the local pumpkin patch for a hay ride.
Great Escapes Six Flags is one and a half hours away!
Conveniently located next to two international airports. Burlington, VT is 1 hour and 20 minutes away with a ferry ride. Albany is 2 and a half hours away.
Many ferries in the area, ask us for the schedule if you need it.
There is a gas station and a full grocery store less than 5 miles away if you should need any essentials. There are much more major shops and activities in Plattsburgh, 12 miles away.
The house has a piano in the White Room downstairs and the upstairs bathroom tub fits FOUR!

- We have televisions in every bedroon with cable boxes and dvd players. We also have a 16 foot canoe with 4 adult life jackets, 1 child's. 16 foot Rowboat too. Paddleboat and 25 dock, and mouring. There are also two creeks that run along each side of the property (frogs included)! Many fishing spots all around. We do have 2 fishing poles. Boat landing less than a mile down the road in Port Douglas. Local marina in Peru and in Port Kent. Bonfires on the private beach. Various golf courses in the neighborhood. Lounging in the rafts, boardgames....Campgrounds 8 miles away at Ausable Chasm, Great Escape Six Flags is an hour and half drive away.

All Lake fun and simple walks throughout many trails in the area, also Ausable Chasm and a local orchard up the road with all the homemade local goodies and strawberry picking in the summer and pumpkin patches in the fall
Take a 1 hour ferry to Burlington, VT. Echo Aquarium is a must see and a great place for kids! This train goes to NYC or Montreal
Take the paddle boat or canoe to this island that locals go and have campfires on in the summertime
Just 1 hour and twenty minutes gets you in French speaking, charming Montreal, must see Old Quarter
