  This is the second time we stay in this beautiful PH. You will find everything you need for a relaxing time in Puerto Rico. You will enjoy the rainforest " El Yunque", the bioluminicent bay in Fajardo , good restaurants in Luquillo and just 20 minutes from the historic San Juan. The use of the golf cart is very convenient to go around the resort and the elevator is priceless when traveling with someone with special needs. Plenty of space for a family of six. Beautiful decorations and the best view !! Thank you Fabio for an excellent vacation. Always Perfect!!

  This was the third time we have rented from Fabio and as usual, everything was perfect. The villa is lovely and it is a joy to be at Rio Mar. Each time we have returned to Puerto Rico, we have increased the amount of days we stay at the Villa. Fabio is the perfect host, very good at communicating with you regarding all details. The villa is well stocked, clean and comfortable. We would recommend the villa to anyone and look forward to many return visits of our own.

  Our family of 4 stayed here for 4 nights during Easter break - the resort and beach was very busy due to the holiday so being able to enjoy some R&R away from the crowds at the villa was wonderful. Definitely bring an ipod - the wireless speakers were great! Never even turned the tv on! While the pictures of inside the condo are accurate (it was clean, spacious and very comfortable) the pictures of the views just don't do it justice! It was magnificent - we especially enjoyed the view of the full moon setting during our stay. Having the golf cart was wonderful transportation to/from the beach and a definitely hi-light for our kids. I don't know if we would have even found parking for our car it was that busy (locals were off for Good Friday and everything was closed!) - but we could park the cart right between the palm trees and made our way down the beach toward the hotel and it wasn't crowded at all. The water was great - nice, gentle rolling waves...tons of sand dollars between our toes...fresh coconuts right on the beach from all of the beautiful palm trees. The beach pool was too crowded to enjoy during our stay but I imagine it would be great at other times. The location of the Rio Mar resort was excellent for snorkel tours out of Fajardo as well as the rainforest across the street. I recommend eating at Barbacoa right by the riverside after you visit El Yunque - both the food and the owner were great! I would definitely recommend this resort and property to anyone traveling to the area. Some information on the general area and property would have been helpful (although I had trip advisor access due to the wifi) - where to put trash (we figured it out) but we weren't sure how to leave the property after locking the keys in the condo - we couldn't get out of the parking lot - my son had to run back up with them after we got the car out and then climb over the gate to our waiting car...so that was a bit confusing!

  This villa is adorable, clean, comfortable, unpretencious, the palm tree in the living room may be fake but turn the lites on at night, see the beautiful views and just relax.. everything said in previous revious is true. We just came home and I wish we were sill there. When renting on line everyone has their doubts but with an owner like Fabio, rest assured, I wish I could have met him - this man is trustworthy and honest and patient - I highly recommend this vacation destination.

  Fabulous Villa!!! Very spacious and far more beautiful than the pictures. Cathedral ceilings, spacious balcony with spectacular views. The resort is huge.. so having the use of the golf cart is especially convenient. We had a lovely time here. Fabio has taken great care to preserve the unit, and everything was as represented and hoped for. Great location close to El Yunque rain forest, bioluminescent bay in Fajardo and 20 mins from Old San Juan and airport. Fantastic beach with beach frontage in front of the large resort hotel and private area for more "solo" time. Access to resort hotel pools was a definite plus. Perfect for families who need some extra room. Access to elevator is a plus for people with disabilities. Most of all Thank you Fabio for all your help!! Best host ever!!! Perfect villa for all the family. We can't wait to come back!!

  Beautiful, spacious condo with all amenities. We didn't miss anything from home as this apartment had it all. Great terrace to enjoy the outdoors, A/C, easy access to condo pool as well as beach club. Fabio was so responsive to all our needs. Perfect condo for a family. We look forward to renting again soon!

  the place is great. far emough away to be Private. with the golf cart everything is accessible. View and evening breeze are fantastic.

  We had such a wonderful time staying at this Villa. First, the unit is stunning; far more beautiful and spacious than appear in the pictures. The resort is spectacular and there are plenty of great things to do without even leaving the grounds, though it's a quick drive to El Yunque, and Old San Juan is a short half hour away. Most of all, we could not have asked for a better host than Fabio. He went out of his way to make us feel at home, including waiting up until 1:00 a.m. for us and recovering my husband's misplaced valise and shipping it home to us. Thank you Fabio! We can't wait to return.

  I am so glad that we decided to rent this villa to give ourselves more space during our destination wedding week in Rio Mar. All of our other guests were staying at the Wyndham, but we went with the villa to have a full kitchen, washer/dryer, parking space, and wireless internet lumped into one cost. At the hotel, we would have had to pay $10 a day for a fridge, $15 for internet, $15 for parking, etc. Not only was Fabio's villa more economical, it was also far more luxurious! We loved it. Fabio's communication is excellent. He sent us directions to the resort and villa before our arrival. The villa is equipped with a pre-coded keypad so that we don't ever have to worry about keys. The parking spot is the very first one four steps from the elevator, and the golf cart is parked right next to the vehicle space. This was super convenient! We weren't sure about the trash, but I emailed Fabio from the great wireless internet and he was able to write back quickly to let us know (my husband said they are actually built into the ground and are easily missed). There were enough towels for an army provided, including about four beach towels, and there were several beach floating devices too. Fabio provides many of the basic needs - soap, coffee filters, foil, even baggies. There are two large flat screen tv's, and my favorite part was the surround-sound IPOD docking station that would play in multiple rooms. The villa has very high ceilings and a large living area, with two bathrooms, the bedroom with king bed, and then a smaller sitting room with a sleeper sofa. The property is spotless and decorated so nicely. I know that the owner stays there too and this is reflected throughout. Villa even has a generator which came in handy when the power went out! The villa is in a highly secure area with two gates. Fabio has remotes for the gates and it did take us a bit to figure out which buttons go with which gates. We spent a lot of our time visiting the resort, which was a four minute drive by car or probably 8 minutes by golf cart. There are many speed bumps and pot holes, which can be a bumpy golf cart ride, but you can very easily park the golf cart by the resort. We were successful parking our car in a few spots by the entrance sometimes too. Location is ideal - we went to the Bio Bay, ziplining, the rainforest, and Old San Juan from the villa. (35 min from airport). I highly recommend the villa & loved our stay. Be sure to eat at Antojitos - delicious!

  The condo was excellect! My wife and I stayed for six days as honeymooners and everything with in the condo was available to us, as if we had lived there. The location was excellent as well. We were able to drive to Old San Juan, Isla Verde or San Juan with in 20-30 minutes. We also enjoyed the sounds of the rain forest ( El Yunke) at night becasue we slept righ across highway 3, a five minute drive. My wife and I were very pleased and blessed to have stayed in such a well kept place. Thanks again Fabio D.P.V Honeymooners
