  This was my family's second summer at this lovely home. The home and lake frontage are beautifully maintained, with all of the amenities anyone might want. The owners are very attentive, and wish to do everything necessary to ensure a wonderful stay. I would wholeheartedly recommend to anyone.

  Absolutley stunning! This house is just so beautiful & relaxing. We spend a week there & my kids loved every second of it. The lake is awesome, being knee deep all the way to the end of the dock was perfect. we will be back again

  Larry and Jackie: We had a wonderful time during our week at your cottage. The cottage itself exceeded our expectations, as the scenery was beautiful. The house was the perfect size for our family. And...we got to meet your brother-in-law Terry, who refused my numerous offers for a cold one. His Dad was very welcoming as well. We enjoyed the boat, got yelled at by the old lady up in the Narrows (I swear there was no wake!), and had a great time getting gas and eating at the Lakeside Bar and Grill across the lake. If I had one Christmas wish, I ‘d love to see the addition of a waverunner to your pontoon fleet. We had a couple of 16-year olds that would have rode that the entire week. I’m not sure what the hell took us so long but the Sugarfoot Saloon would have seen us a few more times had we used one of their glasses in your cabinet a little sooner. Pete and the crew up there were the nicest folks in town (next to John and Terry of course) and the food was out of this world. (whitefish, perch, and clam chowder) The other eateries were very good also but the Sugarfoot Saloon was our favorite. All in all, we really appreciate the nice cottage you have up there and would like to return in the future. We would also be glad to offer any references should you ever need our opinions. And thanks for the returned deposit, we didn’t want to screw up your 100% return policy. Thanks, Jeff and Mary James

  Very nice place for family vacation especially with small children. shallow beach about 180 ft long. We had 5 adults ( grandparents, my sister and daughter and son-in-law and two boys (7 and 9). Enough room for everyone. Whole house A/C was great during the hot weather. Will rent it again in 2013.

  This is a beautiful house and gorgeous property! It is prettier in person than the pictures can show. The house is clean and open and equipted with anything you may need during your stay. We took the boat out and it was great! The owner and his family were extremely helpful and nice. This trip exceeded our expectations!

  Simply put, this is a wonderful vacation home right on Lake Leelanau. The pride of ownership really shows in both the interior and exterior (landscaping). I stayed up here with a friend and my sister's family (4 adults + 2 teens total) over the long Memorial Day weekend and it was perfectly suited for us. The kitchen is VERY well equipped; there's really no need to bring anything. Leave the "spice box" that you travel with at home; this owner has provided everything, which is quite nice. We grilled out a couple of times; the gas grill works great and all of the implements and utensils are provided. Linens, towels, bedding, pillows...all are top notch and in great shape. You can literally just move in and enjoy your stay. All of the comforts are here. There is a good internet connectivity and the owners have provided a nice DVD movie library that the teens enjoyed; there's something for everyone. The property itself is absolutely beautiful. If you can't relax here, I'm not sure you can anywhere. Very nice fire pit in the backyard for evening bonfires and s'mores. The waterfront is superb with an awesome dock; nice sandy bottom for swimming. The water is shallow for about 30-50' off the shore. Although the water was pretty cold (again, Memorial Day), the girls did launch the kayak (provided) and splash around a little. My guess is that once the water warms this location would be ideal for swimming. The owner is excellent to work with and really cares about making your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. The home is located on a residential side street, with about a half dozen other houses, off the "main" road, so it's peaceful and quiet. All in all, I'd highly recommend this home! We enjoyed our stay very much and would not hesitate renting the property again.

  My family rented this house the last week in August and had a wonderful visit. It sits on a quiet, dead end street and the views of the lake are breathtaking. The home was well equipped and had everything we needed for our home away from home. It was clean when we arrived and the owners made sure to leave behind instructions and information about the house so that we could settle in quickly. I would definitely recommend this home to family and friends. And should we ever vacation again in the Traverse City / Lake Leelanau area, we will certainly consider this home again.

  This is a great rental property - we felt like we were at a home rather than just a rental house. The pictures don't do this place justice - it is a gorgeous property. We were accommodated for just a short weekend stay and really appreciated that. Would stay here again. Thanks!!

  Our family just completed our fourth year renting from Larry, the last three in this house. It is clean, well appointed, comfortable and in a great location. The lawn goes right to the edge of the lake, and the dock makes for easy swimming access. We make great use of the new fire pit, and are cooks and appreciate the well equipped kitchen. The location is ideal as it is close to Traverse City, Leeland, Sutton's Bay and several very good golf courses. Larry has always been most helpful. We have booked the house again for 2012.
