Beautiful 2-story, 2000 sq. ft. 4 bedroom 3 bath condominium with beautiful view of Crested Butte valley, ski-in/ski-out, at the Crested Butte resort. Completely remodeled in white - Scandinavian-style, with marble countertops in kitchen and bathrooms, light and airy design. We just finished getting a new roof and repainting and redoing our structure- we will look brand new and gorgeous this summer, inside and out.
The main floor has 3 bedrooms, a living room, dining area, kitchen and 2 bathrooms. There are 2 huge king beds and a queen bed and a pullout queen couch on the main floor. Go up the spiral staircase and there is a loft with 2 queen pullouts, another bedroom with a queen, and a bathroom. Every room is 2 stories high, as the rooms go up into the gabled roof of the building. Look up and you'll see the beautiful wood beams in every room.
You walk into it (no stairs.) It is the topmost unit (no footsteps overhead), but is entered as though on the ground floor as the condo is on a hillside. Store your skis in a nook just inside the front door. It is truly ski-in/out and has a beautiful view of the valley. There is a brand new chair lift to ski to from the condo (the West Wall lift), or ski strait to the ski school lift - your choice. Completely ski-in/out. You could literally ski into the condo at the end of the day if you could ski on wood.
Washer, dryer, huge real fireplace with plenty of wood, 2 kings with extra-thick mattresses on Western beds, 2 queens and 3 queen pull-outs. Jetted tubs in 2 bathrooms. 3 TV's with cable. We have a cedar-lined hot tub and spacious sauna in the building.
Have your lift tickets put in the room - you can order ahead at a discount thru the building. We have our own shuttle bus - the driver will take your teenagers (or you) anywhere in Crested Butte from 8 a.m. to midnight. Just call his cell. The run down to the condo at the end of the day from the top of the mountain is the prettiest on the hill, with almost 360 degree views of the whole valley.
In Fall, especially September 15-Octover, 15 the leaves on the Aspens are a riot of color. Fishing, gofling, biking, and hiking beckon everywhere.
In Summer, hummingbirds come to the feeder on my porch, and there is a grill just down the stairs. For mountain bikers, the Upper Loop starts a few feet away. You can store your bikes safely on my deck, and work on them there too. There is also a very easy mountain biking trail to town from my condo, where you can sling your bike on the back of the flowered town bus for free and ride back up. It's an easy walk thru the flowers of the ski hills to the base, where there are restaurants and outdoor music. You can also sling your bike to the back of the lifts and bike down.

Robin, Back in the UK after a wonderful week skiing, fabulous weather and snow and a great apartment. We all had a really good time. Thank you. One small suggestion from us Brits. For the past year we looked forward to spending Christmas here in CB with our children & 5 grandchildren. We had a WONDERFUL, exciting, fun, memorable time thanks to being here in your lovely home. Robin, We really enjoyed staying at your condo in San Moritz. Thank you so much! It was in a great location and was perfect for our family. Your condo was perfect. Since it rained, we spent more time indoors than planned and found the condo more than comfortable. It was a great 4 days and we're thinking this may be an annual event. Robin, We had another fantastic week in Crested Butte. We went up to Emerald Lake and the wildflowers were spectacular. We also did some fishing, horseback riding, hiking and of course shopping. Thanks again for helping making our stay in Crested Butte a memorable one. One last note, we were coming up the mountain last Thursday night and it was raining pretty good when we came around the corner on that hair-pin turn and what did we see but a bear. The kitchen is well-stocked for good cooks, there are 4 tv's...everything to relax. I have 3 semi-grown children, 3 cats, 1 dog and a wonderful husband. I'm in internet marketing by trade! Why the Owner Chose Crested Butte:
We kept dragging our children around to different ski resorts when they were little. It was kind of hard to constantly find the ski school, rent the gear, etc. When everyone began wanting to go back to Crested Butte year after year, we finally decided to buy a place, and stop roaming. Every year I am involved up there, summer, fall or winter, the experience just keeps getting better. You know more about how and where to have fun!
The Unique Benefits at this Condo:
Okay, well, I already mentioned the kitchen is well-stocked. The 2 king beds have ultra-thick mattresses, which you really need to experience. The ceilings are all over 2 stories high, as the condo is snuggled up to the roof of the building- so there's a wonderful sensation of space. All the bedrooms are huge. There's wifi, cable, whirlpool baths, and...amazaing views of the valley. And it's really, really ski-in/out. Oh yes - and in the building there's a wonderful jacuzzi and steam room. I have my own washer/dryer, no worries. And a real fireplace with lots of wood! :)
