Our vacation retreat, an 1800 square foor, newer condo, offers the perfect blend for relaxation, adventure, beach time, antiquing, swap meets with a couple of days for Orlando and Disney. (1 hour to Disney, Epcot, MGM Sea World, Universal Studios.) Our condo sits quietly on the 14th green of LA CITA GOLF & COUNTRY CLUB. Play golf at several of the many Florida courses nearby ( $40 a round) or enjoy coffee with a good book and just watch from your screened in lanais…one off the living room and one off the master bedroom You’ve arrived at Florida’s “HIDDEN RIVIERA".
Just a short bike ride or 3 minutes in the car takes you to HISTORICI Titusville est. 1876. Booming during the early Space Shuttle days, but now home to sandy beach shops, restaurants, antique stores and even Live Theater. SPACE VIEW PARK offers a perfect Launching Viewpoint for the action here at the center of Florida’s Space Coast.
With a turn toward the Atlantic, 5 minutes puts you at world famous PLAYALINDA NATIONAL BEACH SANCUARY. The nesting turtles are protected here so only people coming to enjoy the 25 miles of non-disrupted sand and warm water are invited. No fast food joints or hotels so pack your own picnic lunch and linger “far from the maddening crowds”.
Crossing the causeway, be sure to keep eyes open for giant alligators resting along roads and take time to drive through the MERRIT ISLAND NATIONAL WILDLIFE REFUGE(bird watching, wild pigs, more alligators). You will have already spotted the KENNEDY SPACE CENTER as it commands the view over at Merritt Island. Spend a fascinating day touring the NASA Space Center and learn about the many elements involved with putting men and women in Space. Merritt Island has many golf courses, air boat rides, horseback riding, and fishing at the seashore or in many rivers and lakes in the area. Port Canaveral Cruise Terminal here. You can also make a day trip up to DAYTONA BEACH and see the lighthouse (40 minutes north) or south to COCOA BEACH (20 min. south). You’ll pass the site of the World’s Largest Swap Meet on Hwy 1…be sure to stop…treasures to be found.
45 minutes back to Orlando Airport, and again you have Disney World, Epcot, MGM, Sea World, Universal Studios. Plan the grandkids' visit as part of your time.
Recently redecorated, the kitchen has everything you’ll need for "stay in" cooking. Help yourself to the Starbucks in the freezer. New top line Queen beds in two bedrooms, 2 new singles in 3rd with a new sleeper sofa in the sunken living room to accommodate 8.
Washer/Dryer included. Covered parking also part of this quiet condo-complex. We’re entirely on the FIRST floor which allows for handicap use with exception of the 2 steps into living room. Our condo is a wonderful "Couples Escape"…load the clubs, fishing poles, walking shoes and FRIENDS and come visit. Many more photos when you email me.

Thankyou so much again for all your good care and your beautiful condo! We had a marvellous time there. We enjoyed to retrieve the calm of the condo after a busy day at Walt Disney, Kennedy Space Center, or at the beach. At the Wildlife Refuge we saw so many birds, and saw also the manatees, and the alligators! We also saw dolphins while at the beach. The sun was there every day! And it was hot hot hot! It was good tu be able to use the swimming pool in the evening to relax before bed time! And thanks to the lanais, I just love to sit and relax in this cozy place! And I love the decoration of your condo. The photos are beautiful! You've been in Europe? We lived in England for 2 and a half years: it was very nice!
