  • I would like you to thank the Tennants for renting their lovely unit to us. It is one of the nicest appointed units that we have ever rented. I would love to know where they got some of the items. The bed was also wonderful. They thought of everything! We would love to rent it again.   • Wonderful condo, beautifull beach, poolside patio with wet bar. Breakfast on patio watching the sun rise over the Sea of Cortez. Very short walk to neighborhood grocery and outside food stands, walking distance on the beach (25 minutes) to Los Barriles. Great fishing and sightseeing. Fully furnished, beautifuly decorated.   • We spent a week in this condo in early April 2008. The building and the unit is wonderful. The building is about 1 year old, so the place feels new. The unit is furnished very nicely with high-end furniture, a nice flat screen TV and stereo (that is iPod compatible), new appliances, plenty of dishes, pots/pans, serving plates, towels/linens, etc. etc. The building has a water filtration system -- between that, and the fact that the water in this area is fine to drink -- you don't have to worry about any "turistas" in the water making you sick. The unit is on the same level as the pool, which is very nice! Great views. The location in Buenavista is great - its "off the grid", but close to a town (1 mile to Los Barriles) with 2-3 markets and a handful of places to eat/drink and even a couple of coffee shops and "ex-pat" hangouts with free WiFi, etc (Roadrunner is a great place for food and Wifi!) Also a couple of "convenience" stores on hwy 1 that are even closer -- "7-11s" where you can buy all sorts of stuff (including booze) at these small shops. About 3/4 mile walk on the beach are two hotels -- to the right (south) is Rancho Buena Vista; to the left (north) is Hotel Palma de Cortez. Both have nice pools and bars and good food. We preferred the Palma de Cortez as you can walk right into Los Barriles town from the hotel -- nice to walk down the beach, have some cerveza y tequilla then hit the town for lunch. Overall we had a splendid time. Highly recommend this unit and this area! Very laid back -- nothing like the mayhem and tourist feel of Los Cabos -- great baja experience and great condo!
