Charming river front/Ocean View beach house with Hot Tub and canoe, just a short walk to the beach. This Cape Cod style house makes a great family vacation home.
Designer decorated in the relaxed vintage beach look with comfy sofas, chairs, and beds. Large 2400 sq ft home has 3 BR. family room, living/dining room, sun room and fully equipped kitchen. The sunriver bedroom has a king bed and a window seat overlooking the river and ocean, just perfect for reading. The Necanicum room has 3 twins, 2 of which can be put together for a King. The quilt room has a queen and is the coziest bedroom of all. The living room with a sleeper, family room and kitchen overlook the river, estuary and ocean beyond. The sunroom in the 30's style is the perfect place to enjoy the front garden and a tiki drink.
The Hot Tub is off the living room and has a bathhouse along with a large deck for sunbathing and a BBQ, table, chairs and a heater for evening dining with a river view. Below the family room and kitchen is the flagstone patio with benches, a fire ring for a fire and marshmallows, a perfect place to watch the sunset.
In the north garden we have the hammock between the trees with a great view of the river and estuary, the best place for doing nothing. We have a canoe, and crab ring for your use so you can bring home dinner. Only 5 short blocks to the outlet mall and theater and 7 short blocks to the beach, easily walked. Just across the river by canoe is the best beach in the area for shell hunting. You are a 15 min walk from downtown Seaside, so if you walk to dinner you can have dessert!!!

This didn't feel like a vacation rental, it felt like coming home! What a lovely and comfortable home in a fabulous location. I really felt like this home lived up to the description in the listing. We had a wonderful time and will definitely be back!!

August 2006 We had a very enjoyable time. We loved the house as did our kids. Roomy and very comfortable. We found everything that we needed to be in walking distance. Definitely a place to come back too.

From guest book 5/23/05 The house was great. We loved the decor and the hot tub. We were worried about the 1 1/2 baths with 5 of us "girls" but it gave us all time to visit. We had a great time and will tell our friends. We'll be back for our next girls reunion.
