The Sandymount Cottage is located in Cod Fish Park in the town of Siasconset on Nantucket Island. Siasconset is a small quiet community on the east side of the island about 7 miles from the harbor. If you are looking for a slower pace and tranquility this is the spot! Sandymount has a full and awesome view of the ocean. Open the windows and listen to waves crashing on the beach and feel the cool sea breezes. Both the beach and the town center are within easy walking distance. On a clear morning watch the sunrise over the Atlantic Ocean from the comfort of the front porch, which has a table that seats six for any meal you choose. The grounds around the cottage are beautiful and well maintained. Large hydrangea bushes line the front of the house while roses and privets encircle much of the property. The interior layout of the house is efficient and functional. All the amenities are modern, in working order, and kept very clean. Comfortable beds, cable TV, wireless internet connection, washer/dryer, electric fireplace, BBQ grill, beach chairs, outside shower, and much more. The owners reside in a separate house on the property and are very gracious hosts. My wife and I have stayed in VRBO properties all around America and Sandymount Cottage on Nantucket is our absolute favorite.
Recommended for:Sightseeing, age 55+, romantic getaway.
