BEDROOMS:(2.5 bedrooms downstairs and sofa bed upstairs)Snuggled in Bed, WATCH THE SUNRISE over the Mountains in the master with a floor to ceiling window & glass door, its own patio & mahogany wood floor. Romance!!!Our 2nd bedroom has a rich tropical ambiance, plush bedding & a flat screen TV. Our "half bedroom" is perfect for children with a bunk bed (pictures coming end of Nov).Upstairs ia a queen sleeper sofa with mountain views, near the fireplace. (Sleeps up to 8 Guests total)
DINING & KITCHEN: Granite countertops, stainless appliances, & a fully stocked kitchen make meal preparation a comfortable breeze. An elegant dining table seats 6, the granite breakfast bar seats 3. The patio has a seating area for enjoying a hot cup of coffee while taking in the beauty of the mountains and fresh scent of the pines. BATHROOMS: We have 2.5 bathrooms, 1 upstairs with a tub/shower & 1 downstairs with a shower; both feature Spa Shower heads & bronze faucets. WASHER & DRYER downstairs. The 2 Person JACUZZI TUB is in its own room, with a window overlooking the pines and snow, so you can Rejuvenate sore muscles or Enjoy an Evening of Couples Romance!

Durango is Majestic!From coastal NC, to desert mountains in NV, rolling green hills of Central California, the perfect coastal climate of Southern CA and tropical Costa Rica; we have lived in what we feel are the most gorgeous parts of Creation. Our first trip to Durango took our breath away! Not only is the landscape aweing, the people and family environment make Durango one of the most wonderful towns in the USA. Beautiful weather, art galleries, opportunities for theatre, music, bountiful outdoor activities (hiking, skiing, fly-fishing just to start!), a vast array of restaurants,seeing deer on a regular basis......what more could one long for?
The Unique Benefits at this Condominium
Our condo's location and views are superb! We believe guests will share our appreciation of the condo's special qualities: it is a corner unit, only 8 units in the building, no hallways, pines around the building for privacy and a waterfall just outside our patio. The stroll to check in the new lodge, use the pool or work out in the fitness center is just 30 seconds from our front door, village coffee and chili is a minute walk or less, and the high speed lift (located right behind the lodge) is about 3 minutes walk. As DMMA members, we chose the option of paying fees (included in our rates) for our unit's guests to share our priviledges to the heated outdoor pool, hot tub, fitness center, spa & ski check areas (the last 2 are optional services/charges for us too). The DMMA key also lets you walk through the Purgatory Lodge to the village and lifts, an excellent bonus! Inside, we have decorated to emphasize romance, with lots of artistic touches. Beautiful hardwood floors, Slate, Leather and local ceramics and rich colors make our condo feel like a luxurious retreat! Soft, inviting beds are particularly important to us when we travel; so we have invested in good mattresses with memory foam toppers, plenty of pillows and beautiful comforters.

Married for 10 years with a new baby girl, our favorite vacation is just to spend time together! We design and build custom homes, so the ambiance of a home for us is always a work of love and art. Several vacations were spent redesigning and upgrading the interior of our East Rim Condo to make it a special place for our guests and ourselves. Our goal inside the condo was to incorporate the things that make a vacation memorable for us: soft beds, attractive & unique decor, plenty of cooking goodies, soft towels, rich colors, a feeling of romance; and to provide that same experience for our valued guests.
