  Excellent location and awesome accomodations! Friendly town and lots to do; beautiful views and tons of water access; The property was beautifully maintained; wish I could go every year !!!

  This house is simply amazing! It truly feels more like a home than a vacation spot. The location is convenient to everything-- from dining to the beach. I will definitely go back!

  What an amazing home! Easy to get to in a perfect location! The canal, the beach, the restaurants are all so wonderful. The house is immaculate and so much better than any hotel. I highly recommend this home, you'll have the best vacation!

  This was a great place to stay. The owners of the property live in Gulf Breeze and were great hosts! Tammy, one of the owners, brought a birthday cake and balloons to the house for my son's birthday party while we were touring the Naval Aviation Museum. Book fast because we missed it the first time around and we will never stay anywhere else if we don't have to. The beach trolley comes right to the corner and is a plus when you are "wasting away in Margaritaville". The beaches are the most beautiful beaches I have ever seen and the southern hospitality is a real treat. Thanks for sharing your home and hometown with us!! We have booked our summer vacation so we will see you then!

  This is my 2nd stay at LePort Resort and I would not stay anywhere else. The house is truly a home and not just another beach rental with no personality. It is located in a nice private area and although it is not right on the beach it is nice to know that no one is in your back yard during the day or night. The trolley which takes you all over the beach has a stop right around the corner and Peg Leg Pete's was wonderful. We especially loved dining on the back porch and listening to the live music from the band and Peg Legs and it was not loud enough to be heard from inside the house. Great vacation, great house!   We very much enjoyed our eight days at Leport Resort. Whether jumping into the water off the dock, strolling to the beach just a short walk away, playing games on the huge dining room table, kayaking in the canal, fishing off the dock, or just sitting on one of the decks watching the activity at Peg Leg Pete's, it was absolutely perfect....and we enjoyed every single minute. What great family memories were made at Leport Resort. While our daughter and son-in-law (to be) are going thru flight school, we will definitely be back! Thank you, Craig & Tammy!

  Five of us (all 50+) spent four days in February at Leport Resort -- this place is OUTSTANDING! It is rare to go to a place (with our usually high expectations) and not only have them met, but have them exceeded in every way. It is also rare for me to score a place (any place) as "5-Star Excellent" -- but, this place deserves every bit of that. I honestly can't think of enough good things to say about this property. It has everything anyone could hope for, all in a perfect location. And it is, without doubt, the most well maintained vacation rental any of us has ever seen. There is obviously great attention paid to every single detail in this place. Everything is new, everything works, and everything is incredibly clean. In fact, the pictures and description are not only accurate -- they actually can't even fully describe how perfect this place really is. About a block and a half walk to Peg Leg Pete's (great place to eat with fantastic oysters & fresh lobster), and with a nicely stocked convenience store (with beer/wine) on the way. The layout works great (we were two couples and a single). The kitchen is very well equipped and functional, even for 2+ at a time, without bumping into each other -- with a high-top table where four people can sit and keep the cook company in one direction, while having 180 degrees of floor-to-ceiling windows open to the canal, in the other direction. The perfect place to start the mornings watching the canal come alive (or cocktail hour watching Peg Legs come alive). Actually makes it kind of hard to find the motivation to leave and do anything else :-). That's my rave about just one room in the house -- to avoid turning this review into a book let me just say every other part of this house is equally fantastic (with a few fun surprises too -- like the room we all called the "crows nest"). Extremely comfortable, bright, very well decorated, yet extremely practical for any length stay. "Home away from home"... That term, from the description, really does sum it all up. After one day here we were all wishing it WAS our home! And, should you have an opportunity to meet them... the owners are really fantastic people; locals who are extremely friendly, helpful, and just great to talk to. Thank you Craig and Tammy for a wonderful stay... we could not have been happier with our experience and we will most definitely return as soon as possible (we're hoping later this year). --Bryan, Wonjung, John, Helyn, & James

  Thanks for a great vacation. The kids loved it. The house was wonderful and had everything needed for a comfortable stay.....don't forget the sunscreen!!!!!
