  We rented the house for a group of girlfriends to have a weekend get together. The accommodations were perfect! The house was clean, the beds were comfortable, and everything was fully stocked. We felt very welcome and really enjoyed our weekend!

  This was my families first experience lodging in a home together...and it could not have been a better find nor experience! We had 12 staying for my son's wedding on the beach. Sarma met me for a tour 2 weeks prior to the event...and was so accommodating. The home was PERFECT for us! So very clean...open space for large group mingling...plenty of beds for all. We were so comfortable (inside)...as the weather turned on us for a beach wedding. I would HIGHLY recommend this residence...and look forward to visiting again in better weather! (Already making plans!!!!)

  This was the 5th one week rental we have had in South Haven. The house was accurately represented in the listing. We found what we expected to find. It was clean, well kept, nicely decorated and family friendly. The owners were very accessible and helpful. It was close to the beach and we walked downtown every evening. Overall we were very pleased. We had 6 adults and 5 children, the oldest being 6 and the youngest 14 months. Of our 5 rentals his was defiantly the best!

  Our family of 16 (plus a newborn makes 17) stayed at the Van Buren Street Getaway. We enjoyed the great access to the beach with such a short walk. We also made great use of the laundry facilities, making us have little dirty laundry to do when we all got back to our homes. We enjoyed the coziness of the beach house and felt it was priced fairly for the week. The home owners were very helpful and nice to work with. All of us have said we will return to this South Haven rental home again in the future.

  Our family of 20 including 9 adults and 11 children ages 6 months - 12 years had a wonderful stay at the Van Buren St. getaway. The master bedroom was big enough to sleep a family of 5 children and 2 adults using a crib, pack n play, and an air matress. The beds are all big! This is very hard to find in rentals in South Haven for this many people. The living room was big enough for all of us to sit around and hang out. The shade trees in the front and back yard were a huge help with the heat. The walk to the beach, kids corner, church, and downtown were just right. The owners were great to work with and gave us great ideas for restaurants. We ate at Maria's, Phoenix St, Captain Nemo's, Su Casa, and Clementine's. They were all good! We walked downtown atleast once a day if not twice. The laundry room was so nice to have and it was stocked! I never thought I would do laundry on vacation, but I was wrong. We washed towels and bathing suits daily and I even washed all the dirty laundry so I didn't have to do anything with we returned home. There's nothing I could say bad about this home. It was perfect!

  We stayed at the Van Buren house for a long weekend with friends visiting from New Orleans. The house was in the perfect location for us.....a VERY short walk to the beach and a close walk to town as well. The house was so spacious it gave us plenty of room for the kids to run around. The backyard had kid toys and a slide and there was plenty of space for them to run around outside too. The house was very clean and decorated nice as well. Even the next door neighbors were nice! We have rented other vacation homes in the past and had issues with mice, dirty furniture, etc. But the Van Buren house was perfect and we had zero complaints! We really enjoyed our stay and will be staying here again.

  My family and I just returned from the most wonderful time at this property. Thank you Sarma and Dan for having the house ready and waiting for us to enjoy. The house was perfect for all 14 of us and the location couldn't be better. We loved the short walk to the beach and downtown. Thank you for a great time in South Haven, we are definitely going to make this a summer tradition!

  Thanks Sarma and Dan for a wonderful stay at your home! The house was perfect for our "family reunion". We had 8 adults and 5 small children and we fit perfectly. We really enjoyed South Haven. We had never been but we plan to return. We loved the location of the house. Very close to the beach and park and downtown. Close enough for even our 3 year old to walk. My favorite part of the stay was walking down to the beach to watch the sunset. Thanks again!

  This house is beautiful! LOTS of space and really great kitchen. We had a great week in July 2009. The weekly rental fee is very reasonable. The walk to the beach is not bad at all. The owners were super friendly and really took the extra steps to make sure we had a great time. This is the first rental property we have ever stayed in that supplied so many of the basics--handsoap, detergent, toilet tissue, hairdryers!! Thanks for a great week! A great home to stay for vacation--thanks for sharing yours!
