  My family was very comfortable is this wonderful island home. The house has everything you need to have a relaxing carefree vacation. It is a short drive to state beach which is great for young kids. It is very close to town, yet far enough away so you can settle in for quiet nights away from the crowds. I highly recommend this home and plan to rent next summer.

  This is a great house for any type of island getaway! Whether your vacation is for beaching, fishing, shopping, dining or just a carefree this house is perfect. The house is immaculate and you feel right at home the minute you walk in the door. When greeted by the owners, Phil and Lauren, we felt right at home as they walked us through the whole house to show us all the amenities. The location is in a quiet neighborhood with an easy ride to all major towns. State beach is only a few minutes drive. It was so nice to return to the house each day to unwind and relax with everything it has to offer. Renting for 1 week never seems enough time and you will not want to leave. We have rented this home for over 5+ years and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the island. You will not be disappointed!

  My family rented this home for a week this past summer. It was a great house in a family-friendly location, very good for a large family. Really nice master bathroom. As with all houses on the islands, the basement was mildewy and had a VERY strong smell. I was planning on having my son and his friend use that as a bedroom, but I wouldn't let them sleep down there--I would NOT consider that a livable bedroom. The laundry equipment was broken when we got there, the owner tried to fix it and they were nice enough to credit us for not having it to use during our stay. However, the first floor bathroom toilet got clogged up on our first day there, the owners sent a plumber over, and then passed on the cost to us! Overall a good experience, but not exactly clean around payments and usable space of the house.

  Owner response: We provide a dehumidifier for the lower floor which automatically drains outside without the need to empty the water tray. We recommend to our renters that they run the dehumidifier periodically to eliminate any odor or dampness that can occur with varying weather conditions .

  Home is beautiful and in a great location. A short drive from town and in a nice quiet neighborhood. We had the best vacation and really felt sad to leave this lovely home. Lauren and Phil really make you feel comfortable - I would highly recommend renting here and hope we can come back again next year!!!
