Complete with all the modern amenities together with old world charm, Casa Mar Azul offers air conditioning throughout, private washer/dryer, 110 electrical outlets, a modern kitchen with, oven/range and granite counter tops. There is also on site twice weekly maid service, additional staff available with advance arrangement.
For surfers and beach enthusiasts, Casa Mar Azul is located on the perfect left point of La Saladita Beach, called “Malibu's reverse wave!” by wannasurf. A friendly place to learn, or for experienced surfers to enjoy the 1 minute plus rides on this “machine wave,” goofy footers paradise!

Why the Owner Chose La Saladita
Saladita is Old Mexico, no huge high rise condo's or hotels, great fishing, amazing surfing with the longest left point break on the west coast. The weather is perfect, the breeze is on shore in the morning and off shore in the evenings, as close to paradise as it gets.
The Unique Benefits at this House
We have a great private pool, beautiful view, huge kitchen so you can cook your own meals. The landscaping is nothing short of breathtaking and the entire house was designed so that you can enjoy the breeze and view.
The house on the blue ocean, the satellite image is pre-house but this is where we are!

We built the house on Saladita beach, Mike designed the house and hand build all the custom wood doors, cabinets & furniture. Mike is a General Contractor and Tammy is a Director of Operations for a hotel management company. We bought the property in 2004 and finished the house in March of 2008 with the help of our Partner and life long friends Jim & Dori

We rented this house for friends and family guest of a wedding celebration. This property has everything we needed for FUN, comfort, Mexician ambiance, and entertainment. The owner, Alaska Mike, was there with his awesome dog, Sonny.. Mike has the coconut wireless running through the house, so whatever you need he is there to inform/help. The prevacation planning was worry free with the help of Mike's wife, Tammy It's never easy making arrangements for other people, but in this situation there were no worries. The house has large comfortable rooms and a great kitchen for gatherings. But the party central location is the awesome pool. So surfer or not, this is a place you will find youself floating in spa like enjoyment. If you are a surfer, the break is close, which is something to consider for convience then the houses that are way down the beach. It was a special retreat for the brides family and friends,

I would recomend this vacation to anyone looking for luxury on la playa la saladida. Only left break in the world if im not mistaken... The people are freakin' fantastick...all of 'em A MUST DO!!! ...And thanks again for all the hospitality, you guys are wonderful

we have traveled around mexico a bit, by far casa mar azul has been the the most relaxing property we have ever stayed.no road noise no airplanes just the sound of the ocean and birds.pictures just dont do the property Justis. although was hot during our stay, the breezeway always kept us very comfortable.loslianos only 2km away had everything we we needed, restaurants are really just a short walk down the beach. mike knows everyone in town and can always get fish and lobster.if you really want to relax in real mexico there is not a better place. sunsets to die for!

We had a great vacation at Casa Mar Azul. The setting was perfect for us. We rented two of the rooms for two couples and the common areas were great. The pool is awesome with wonderful ocean views and sunset views..... Mike, one of the owners, was there for a portion of our stay and was helpful with restaurant recommendations and general information about the house and area. We ate at Manzanillo Bay in Troncones and Robert's Bistro on the beach in Troncones and both were really good. All was clean and ready for our arrival. Would definitely return for our next visit to this area. I miss it already.

What an awesome place! This is my husband's second time to stay at this house and my first, and it definitely won't be our last! The rooms are nice and big, the common areas are big and open with great views, the infinity edge pool is way cool, and the terrace is so relaxing with the best views of the beach, the ocean, the sunset...! The house is right on the beach, and has the most amazing sunset views every night. We can't wait to go back... we wouldn't want to stay anywhere else!

Stayed at Casa Mar Azul Nov. 2009 and could not have been more pleased. Very very nice at a very good price. Right on La Saladita beach with a beautiful infinity pool to watch an incredible sunset every evening. Upstairs porch is covered or uncovered and a great place to take a mid day siesta. Beautifully landscaped with many colorful and fragrant flowers. Can not wait to go back. A/C if you want.
