  A beautiful vacation In April 2012 we stayed for four weeks in one of Marianna and Mikes apartments at Warm Mineral Springs. The place is truly a home away from home. It is a very clean, well equipped and spacious place to be. We were surrounded with beautiful flowers, trees, birds and had the occasional visit of an egret and wood stork. Marianna provided us with ripe papaya and tomatoes from her garden, prepared for us some delicious dishes and was there whenever we had questions. You pay premium rental cost for the apartments, but in return you will get premium comfort and service. Thank you Marianna and Mike for contributing to a great vacation.   Thank you Marianna and Mike We had a great stay in your rental home. We found it very spacious and clean with an abundance of sheets and towels. You even supplied beach towels! Our children and very young grandchildren joined us for a week and there was lots of space for all of us. We were there for breakfast and dinner in your lovely kitchen. You were very responsive to every need and were wonderfully warm and generous. It was a short drive to shopping and beaches and a very convenient area to stay in. We hope to come back some time, you made us so welcome.

  Dear Marianna and Mike , I was planning for long to drop a line with a big Thank you but I got busy with the students and surgeries. However today my husband told me “I know the best Valentine for you will be a trip to Warm Mineral Springs”. Yes, Warm Mineral Springs and your beautiful house became my favorite place for vacation in USA . We carry you in our hearts and thank again for your warm hospitality, for the food that you cook for us, for your Christmas presents, for the wonderful trip to the orange orchad,for all the shopping trips and for so many little things that make our vacations the best ones. We all felt we touched heaven in your lovely house and we are so happy that we met you.My mother and my son are looking forward to go back there and probably we will see you sooner than next year (I am giving up a trip to Europe for one to Warm Mineral Springs!)   It was terrible time. A War Mineral Springs website did not show the real price. Very expensive and uncomfortable apartment.

  My family and I absolutely loved staying at Marianna and Mike’s home. Our most recent stay was over a period of two weeks this past March (2011) and the weather and garden were absolutely beautiful. Not to mention the veggies and herbs that Marianna and Mike grow right in their backyard! The house itself is very clean, we had all the essential amenities and wireless internet was great for keeping up on business affairs during our vacation. The location on Ortiz is very convenient as well and is no more than 1 minute drive or a 10 minute walk to Warm Mineral Springs which itself has a very healing and soothing atmosphere. If you want to visit Warm Mineral Springs, there is really not a better place to stay! We’ve stayed at their home several times over the past few years and we were happy every time. Thank you, you’re both wonderful people, we love you, and looking forward to being back in the future. -Mikhail, Nana, George & Anna

  Dear Marianna! Just wanted to drop you a line to say thank you. We had a great stay. Your home is lovely. Lovely complex. We had a wonderful time. The home is very large. It was great for us. Very clean and nicely decorated. Very relaxing. The location is great. Just where you want to be. Lots of shopping and good places to eat up the corner. We saved a lot of money cooking. Cooked all our breakfast and lunches. We would like to be back. Very friendly owner. This is a great value. We would highly recommend this property to anyone who does not want to be right on the strip and does not mind a short drive to Warm Mineral Spring and ocean. Thanks Again.

  We were especially surprised at the cleanliness of this newer rental home which was a duplex with the owners living in the other unit. This was not mentioned in the description of the rental. The amenities were in good supply but we were disappointed that there was no phone service available as we need a phone to be online with our computer. The water has a sulphur contents - so bottled water is a must for drinking. The home is in close proximity to Manisota Beach, Blind Pass Beach and Casperson Beach. There are good restaurants nearby. Venice is about 11 miles away with a quaint downtown area full of shops- and great places to eat especially Sharky's - a seafood restaurant. Within walking distance -there is a warm mineral springs available for use for a charge - which we did not partake in - but apparently - it claims to have healing elements for many diffirent conditions. The lanai is small - not screend in. The owners were friendly and yet not overpowering of our time.

  Recommended for: Age 55+.
